The Crows Nest has undoubtedly one of the best views of Whitby from every window, and right in the centre of the town. A cosy loft apartment overlooking the harbour, the abbey and out to sea. Close to some amazing fish and chip shops, tearooms and everything central. A short walk to the beach.There is free on street parking with scratch cards that we provide in the W zones which are within a 5min walk from the flat. There is a pub directly opposite which at weekends you may experience some noise

The house was lovely, homely and comfortable. Quirky with bedrooms on the ground floor and living areas upstairs. Perfect location for exploring the area and walking into Whitby. Albeit it was dog friendly there was no outside toilet area or seating due to locality. That said the outdoor areas and beach were very close. We would recommend this Air B&B. Great holiday thank you.

Lovely accommodation in a brilliant, central location. The cottage was spotless, with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful bathroom, and very comfortable king size bed. When we next visit Whitby, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic apartment, spacious, with two lovely bathrooms, comfy beds and a great view of Whitby FC to the rear! On-street parking was always available, with a nice costal walk to the town. Tara was really helpful and always responded immediately. We'll book again, as we really loved Whitby and the apartment

Such an amazing place! Amazing location, walkable to the beach and in the middle of all the good stuff of Whitby. Parking space was a real bonus as well. We loved the open plan space and all the things that John leaves for guests like utensils and whatnot. The snacks when arrived were lovely as well! Overall the place is fantastic and we can’t wait to stay again soon.

Coastguards Cottage with parking

The Coastguards Cottage is in an area of Whitby that we had never visited before. It was full of quaint, narrow cobbled streets with lots of cafes, bakeries, and other shops nearby. The cottage itself is very clean and tidy, and all the fixtures and fittings are of good quality. It's only a short walk downhill to the harbour, where there were lots more shops and restaurants. We were very impressed by the atmosphere and friendliness in the town, and would certainly look to come back some time in the future. So different to Scarborough, with hardly any of the 'seaside tack' shops and slot machine arcades that plague many UK resorts. Out of town, we travelled up the coast to Saltburn, another smaller, but interesting resort. Well worth a visit.

We had a wonderful stay - such a beautiful quirky cottage in a fantastic location right by the harbour. Perfect base to explore Staithes, walk the coastline or just chill on the sunny roof terrace. Jackie was a great Host and Rebecca was super efficient communicating with us about our arrival etc. Brilliant being able to park outside the property and we loved the old memorabilia of Staithes as part of the internal decor. Highly recommend a stay here .. couldn’t fault it!
