Farmstay holiday rentals in Whatcom County

Pebble Cove Farms is a great place to stay! Lydia is a great host, the farm is beautiful, and you can go right out to the water every morning! Rooms are great--wifi, smart tv with streaming, french press for coffee, and the family suite even had a little stove, fridge, microwave, and sink.

We had a great time at Lydia’s farm cottage. We enjoyed meeting the goats and pot bellied pig. The garden out back had great strawberries and blackberries, as well as others. The location was great for our kayaking and whale watching trips out of Deer Harbor, as well as great hiking at nearby Turtleback mountain. All in all, a quiet and relaxing home for our first visit to Orcas Island.

This house is very beautiful and clean. It had a gorgeous view, pretty lighting and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Bed linens were high quality. The master mattress was high quality and comfortable. The second bedroom mattress was not nearly as nice. Check out is at 10am, which is early and not convenient with the ferry schedule challenge. The biggest issue is the parking and stairs. There are 26 steps to the front door and a sloping driveway. Carrying things in and out is challenging and not appropriate for people with mobility issues.

Oostema Farmstead was such a beautiful and cozy place to spend our time in Lynden! Lisa and Glen were very helpful and have done a wonderful job creating a wonderful homestead!

I have to say that this was the BEST Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Everything was so artfully curated and I felt like I never wanted to leave. Kate is a great person and I would definitely recommend taking her up on her horse lessons. I’ve been riding my whole life and she is a fountain of knowledge in so many ways. I would definitely recommend coming to stay at her cottage and see for yourself the care and beauty of the land and what orcas has to offer. I will definitely be back!

Can’t say enough good things about Michel and what he’s created at his place. Great communication and offered to give us a tour of the property upon arrival. Provided complimentary wine and things for s’mores as well as some wood for a fire. Michel said we could let him know if there’s anything we needed, and you can tell he actually means it. The space was exactly what you want if you are looking for a relaxing getaway and looking to recharge. Would recommend this place to family and friends and we will definitely be back for the space, but also because of the generosity and genuineness of Michel and his co-hosts

If you like the country and watching hummingbirds right at your door this place is for you. The area is amazing. Home is so comfortable. Not a city noise. You will sleep like a baby. Really enjoyed our visit. Would definitely go back

We stayed here for a golf trip and it was the perfect spot! Close proximity to several courses and plenty of beds for the entire group. The place was exactly as advertised and contributed to a great trip!

Sarah was a lovely host who gave us duck eggs on our first morning there. She welcomed my family to walk around the property and meet and feed the ducks and chickens. If we needed something, i.e., extra trash bags or toilet paper, she responded quickly and simply left it on the front step for us to collect. Would absolutely stay again!!

This was the most incredible place Frank and I have ever stayed! It was so comfortable, clean, and home-y. It was unreal waking up every day to the views of the mountains and over the wild grass fields and flowers, it felt like a movie. Not to mention the BEST part - the alpacas!! They were so cute and funny to observe, we loved being around them and just watching them. It was so exciting to get to feed them, as well! Very interesting and wholesome animals, we already miss them so much. This is a great place for two people or a group, we had both at one point and it worked out for us very well. This place was everything we dreamed of and more, and we can't wait to come back! Thank you Geoffrey for hosting us in your beautiful home, it was such a spectacular and special place for us to begin our honeymoon, and the rest of our lives together!

Teri’s cabin is perfect! She has gone to tremendous length to ensure every small detail for your stay will be perfect. From the heated bathroom floors, to the perfectly weighted comforters, to the beautifully stacked and dried firewood, your enjoyable stay is her priority. The cabin is maintain in pristine condition and loving details are in every space. Amazingly, she does this while also ensuring the space is void of any clutter. While I was there with my sister and nephew, I feel this space is suited for lovers seeking a special space to connect and enjoy nature. The meadow is beautiful at dusk and dawn and I strongly recommend an evening fire. Eastsound is a short drive where great local shops, wine tasting and restaurants are available. Orcas Island has beautiful hikes, parks, and walking trails available for your enjoyment. I cannot recommend Teri’s cabin enough. Thank you for a perfect adventure.

Clean place. Hosts a large group. Property is an open place that our kids loved to explore, and we could see them from inside the house. We enjoyed lawn games and the large dining table that fit all of us.

We stayed here for the Ski to Sea relay race and it was a perfect family getaway. The kids loved running around the yard and watching deer from the windows. We enjoyed cooking together in the generously sized kitchen, sharing meals at the giant picnic table on the porch, and slow morning coffees in this cozy cabin!

We ended up booking Sherri’s place with about 2 hours’ notice after a different Airbnb did not list their place accurately. Sherri responded after hours, drove to the house before us to turn the heat and lights on, and was so helpful. The place was perfect; quiet and beautiful. I got to nerd out over the collection of 70s Pyrex which was just perfect. We’ll definitely be back

Farmhouse was great for our two families and 4 kids. It’s located near the hot tub and has a great big lawn that our kids enjoyed. We would stay here again!

Pat and Barbi have a wonderful finished loft. What a treat. Pat met us in the driveway and showed up the ropes to make things easy. Perfect spot for my daughter and I to crash for a ski weekend. They have a great sunroom for breakfast and relaxing as well. Closest thing to a Bed and Breakfast I've been to through AirBnB.

Jackie was lovely and welcomed our group to her home. The location was quiet (other than animal sounds and children staying in the tent) and very peaceful. The perfect place to stay and check out the surrounding towns.

Suzanne was very responsive and welcomed me on arrival. I felt like at home and had friendly discussions. Cats and dog pets were calm and friendly. All and all great deal if you exploring Bellingham neighborhoods. Highly recommended.

Loved this magical little country home, literally adjacent to a field where their goats and horse roam around. Our toddlers moved the animals, the hot tub was a hit and the host went above and beyond with amenities for our group. So many thoughtful touches and for our group of two toddlers and an infant, a high chair, pack and play and baby bath (as well as lots of toys) were so appreciated! Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and beyond what we expected. Also super easy to get to Bellingham and Whatcom Falls. Would definitely stay again!
