Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Whangamatā

Ryan’s house was exactly what we’d hoped for on our last 4 nights in NZ. The view looking out over the ocean absolutely made our stay! We had everything we needed to do as much as or as little as we liked. The location is very close to the shops by car and definitely walkable (though hilly). We walked to the Cathedral Cove track which we would highly recommend and were fortunate it had re-opened recently. Make sure you do the extra lookout viewpoint loop, the views are incredible. Ryan was responsive, friendly and helpful when communicating. We would recommend Ryan’s home and would definitely stay again if we came back!

Hayley has set up a beautiful place to stay. It's quiet, calming and has a homely feel to it. All the little touches (plants/candles etc) are such a nice touch to the space and everything is as is described. We are travelling from Christchurch for some training camps at the lake, and even the boys were looking forward to heading back and relaxing in the "comfy" house after the hard trainings. We were hoping to book The Barn for our 2nd training camp, but it's not available. However, we have re-booked for our 3rd and are looking forward to being back in this beautiful space :)

We absolutely loved our long weekend at the great escape Whitianga, the house had everything we needed for a fun relaxing family weekend away. The house was absolutely spotless and the beds were super comfy and everything was so well set up for all that we needed! Nice private backyard for the kids to play and the spa was lovely in the cooler evenings. We can’t wait to come back!

We booked Lisa’s place for Beach Hop 2025 and we were delighted with the position and the state of the house. Lisa’s communication was awesome (super quick) and nothing was a problem. The house has everything you could possibly want for a week or a long weekend and the layout means there is always somewhere that’s out of the wind or in the sun. It has a great indoor/outdoor flow with tons of deck/entertainment space. The bedrooms are all a good size and we all found the beds comfortable and fresh. We’d definitely book again - it was perfect for us and our extended family of adult kids.

Fabulous place to stay! Great location. The house was very clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen with every thing you need. There is a lovely outdoor area out the front and the spa was a luxury. There are three good sized bedrooms, the beds are quite firm, but fine for a short stay. Gina and George are so kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this super cute and stylish Bach! It was comfy, clean, and really well equipped — we especially loved the great selection of books and games, the pizza maker, and access to the spa pool. The location was perfect too. Highly recommend!

Lovely home, artistic and different, well stocked, comfortable and homely. Beautiful outdoor space. A good place to relax and enjoy walking from the house, followed by a spa.

This place is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I can't recommend it enough. We booked it for a night for a hens party and the look on guests faces when they arrived was priceless. Such a hidden gem in Katikati, and well worth the drive there if you are considering staying. The house was spectacular and so accommodating to a large group of people, with a lovely courtyard for outdoor activities. The little cottages were also a lovely surprise for guests and so well maintained. Laura's communication was also excellent. I would love to visit again one day. . . and stay for a week!

Great to deal with the host, just everything was perfect. Flexible check in and check out process with great communication. The place was spotless and beds are very comfortable. One of the best air bnb places that we ever tried. We will definitely come back again.

The Villa is super stunning and rustic with all and more than needed ammenities. Our group thoroughly enjoyed spending an evening here. Laura was also super helpful and quick with communication and clear instructions. Definitely would love to go back for a longer stay and possibly even make use of the space for events. Fantastic stay in Matarangi! Beautiful house with beautiful finishings. Very well equipped and had everything you could need. We loved the little touches of luxury everywhere. Super easy walk to the beach, we loved using the big beach trolley to get to and from with all the gear. Amazing location! We travelled over from Switzerland and loved everything Matarangi had to offer. A slice of paradise! Thank you for sending the belongings left behind! We hope to be back in the future! Thank you!

This is a fabulous place to stay especially for families with a range of ages. It had everything we could wish for. Cindy & Jon were wonderful hosts.

Lovely stay at Lexie's caravan at Waihi Beach. First time semi camping with my two young children and it had all of the basic amenities we needed for a great time. Very private with the orientation of the deck overlooking the campsite. Fantastic and easy communication. Loved the later checkout. Thank you!

We loved our stay in the cabin. We climbed Mt Te Aroha so the sauna was very welcome. The cabin was also gorgeously cosy, perfect.

Absolutely perfect, really enjoyed this place. Surrounded by beautiful countryside we really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire. Thank you. The drive in is also fun!
