Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Wexford

This is our second visit to Weavers Cottage.. The cottage is light, airy and warm. The furnishing and fixing are all of a high standard. The cottage has every amenity you could need. It is 5 minutes from the centre of the village and the river. There are many beautiful walks from the village and nearby. Mary is a warm and welcoming host. She kindly leave basic provision to see you through your first night at the cottage. When I suffered toothache she helped us find a local emergency dentist. I cannot praise Mary or her cottage enough.

We stayed for a longer bank holiday weekend in June with a 3year old and a little Jack Russell terrier. The log house is modern, tidy, spacious and has everything you need. The toddler could kick his ball around on the green in front of the house. Every now and then the dog from the neighbour was barking, but quiet through the night. We had to put our dog on a long lead, though, as she is very nosy and could easily surpass below the fence to the neighbour's land. Donal was very proactive communicating with nice suggestions for activities, restaurants, etc. The location is very practical, with short rides to the Greenway, mountains, loop trails and sea side.

We recently stayed at Mary’s. There was 9 of us, 3 kids and 6 adults and it was more than enough space for us all. It was well looked after and it had everything we needed, it was so cosy & also spotless. We live in Dublin so it was amazing having the out door space for the kids. Check in was a breeze and Mary was so friendly she gave us recommendations also. Would highly recommend it anyone which we have already done. Tramore isn’t too far away and we recommend getting the passage ferry, it was 10 euro single and 15 euro return. It was brilliant. I can’t fault a thing about Elrove, we will definitely be back.

House was beautiful, spacious and comfortable, and was pristinely clean. Mark was really generous and accommodating of our requests, and checked in on us over the weekend. We were travelling for an event so didn't get to explore the area this time.

Pictures do not do justice to the beauty of this home! Everything is spectacular! Rich furnishings, luxurious fabrics, beautiful decor, birdsongs. It’s a fairytale world where you can live and walk along gorgeous gardens. I highly recommend staying here. Definitely hope to be back soon!

Flo’s place was peaceful, with beautiful outdoor spaces. She had plenty of commodities in kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine. Beautiful countryside

Michelle was so accommodating and kind. We booked the same day of arrival and Michelle went out of her way to go to and clean and sort out the place before our arrival. The home is perfect for families and pets. The estate’s amenities are great, and we enjoyed tea and scones in the club house as well as use of the leisure centre.

We had an amazing time here. Hopefully we will be back in the summer.

We had a beautiful holiday here in the coach house of Kilmokea Country Manor. The coach house is fantastic, full of character and the bedrooms are large and airy with views of peacocks from the windows. The setting is quiet and peaceful and the wild and bountiful gardens are just magnificent to wander through in awe. There is a great tennis court and beautiful swimming pool framed with French Doors and ample changing areas. Emma and Mark were absolutely superb hosts. They are warm, friendly, accommodating and a pleasure to meet around the place. My only tiny note is that I would have liked a list of extra charges in advance - just so I had more awareness of costs I was incurring as I went along. The jacuzzi is extra, as is the sauna, and there is a daily charge for utilities. I am sure this is all in the provided info knowing these careful hosts but I somehow missed these details. Anyway nothing could possibly detract from what is an absolute hidden paradise. Book immediately !!

This cottage, for me, was a slice of heaven on earth. Beautiful, old, quaint, traditional Irish cottage with a stunning view and all you can hear is birdsong. On arrival, Peter and Boris greeted me and showed me around. Peter also baked me fresh wheaten bread and homemade marmalade and provided eggs (delicious) and milk. The beds are SO comfortable and warm, shower was hot and powerful and the log burner was the cherry on top. Peter gave lots of lovely recommendations for the local area and loaned me a flask for my hike. He was responsive to any requests I had and very friendly. I loved it and will return! Holly was very friendly and very helpful, responding to our many questions quickly. Her house is beautiful. We felt comfortable as soon as we entered, very spacious, clean and bright. The surrounding area is beautiful too. My grandson just loved the swing and slide. We had a very relaxing weekend and would really recommend it.

If you are looking for a nice place at the beach with an old country cottage vibe you well enjoy this place. The beach there is beautiful.

Niamh’s Beach House was a perfect getaway with my partner and two dogs. The house was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking and there were plenty of books and board games to use while there. The place is extra dog friendly with Niamh leaving treats, toys, a bed, bowls and water for the dogs. The back yard is secure for dogs and the front garden is great for them to run around. The location was beautiful, the beach only a walk away and the other beach for swimming only a 6 min drive. Niamh was so warm and welcoming, checking in and out was so easy and it really added to a relaxing experience. Niamh had lots of local recommendations for the area and even had local takeaway menus on hand. Had a lovely 2 nights stay and would love to come back! Thanks Niamh and Dermot!

Skyroadcabin was perfect for our time in nearby Borris (less than 10 mins drive). Spotless, comfortable, cozy and homely. Everything we needed was to hand with personalised communication and there were welcome touches for travellers such as tea, coffee, milk and bread being to hand on arrival. Amanda was attentive to our needs, for example when temps dropped a little overnight she was sure to remind us that additional heating was available Finally, we had chats with Amanda as we went to and fro over the weekend which made us feel welcome and added to the enjoyment of our stay.

This was one of the best - if not the best - Airbnbs I've stayed in. The space itself is modern, beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable. Rita and her family are next door, but they give you as much privacy as you need. It so happened, though, that our little one and their little one became instant friends, so we got to learn how nice and friendly Rita and her family are. Rita is a very thoughtful host. I asked about using the washing machine and she left some detergent for us to use. I asked about umbrellas since it was going to rain for part of the time we were there, and she left a few for us to use. The surrounding countryside is stunning! It was pleasant and peaceful to eat meals in the Airbnb and look out at the lush, green countryside. The playground on the property was so nice to have for our 7-year old. It kept our kid entertained for hours, as well as the toys that Rita's child shared with ours. I highly, highly recommend staying here.
