We had a wonderful stay at the Red House! The space was very cozy, yet surprisingly roomy — perfect for relaxing and feeling right at home. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the setting felt peaceful and private throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a quiet retreat.

We had an amazing stay at Greg’s cottage. It was the perfect getaway and the perfect mix between cozy cottage and fancy amenities! We loved the sauna and the hot tub, they were amazing additions to Greg’s. The beds were super comfortable as well which is always a plus at a cottage. Greg was always responsive and was super helpful. We cannot wait to come back to this cozy cottage! Thanks Greg!

What a beautiful property! Went for a girls trip and it was the perfect spot for us. Spacious for 4 people with an awesome deck and lawn to enjoy. It was so peaceful to sit out, watch the lake and read while you drank coffee in the morning. There were games we could play, a great fire pit to sit around and a hot tub for when ending the night. The space was very clean and organized, and had everything we could need. Would love to stay here again!

I hosted my bachelorette at this stay and it has to be one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at as an Airbnb! Highly recommend! 10/10! It has so many options to enjoy the lake (kayaks, paddle boards, trampoline all available). We all loved the 3 bathrooms since there were 7 girls, and very well accommodated everyone! Overall, excellent & perfection!

We had an amazing stay at the Mellow Yellow Cottage! We are a family of four and invited my parents. The Cottage was so clean, spacious and had a lot of personality. We all left happy and relaxed! The kitchen is renovated and had every appliance, dish and utensil we could have needed and more. We spent loads of time on the water and on the dock. I was grateful for the qty and variety of water “toys”. My 9 year old and 16 year old were kept busy. The fire pit was used every night as was the pool table. It was quiet and private and was the perfect tranquil escape for your family. It was nice to have grocery stores and restaurants within 15 -20 min. The visit to Kingston for a few hours was also enjoyable. Overall amazing stay, highly recommend for families of varying ages. Host was engaged and proactive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful and quiet and private. It was beautiful to lay in bed and listen to the wildlife as we headed off to sleep. It was so cozy by the wood burning fireplace in the evening . The historical pieces that were included in the decor and the books about the history of the house were a nice touch. Highly recommend hiking at the Eagles Nest trail near by.

What can I say... The place offered a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere the little cabine offered everything i was looking for my weekend getaway. I only wish I would have booked for a longer stay as I dint have time to explore the lake . Definitely a next time in the near future. thanks to the host for the great hospitality. The house is in an awesome location. Kayaks were put to good use. A lot of nature and wildlife to soak in right from the doorstep or backyard. Everything was in great condition. Also had our dog along for this trip and place was pet friendly as well (although going upstairs might not be for all pets 😂 certainly wasn't for my guy). The hosts have included all items required for a comfortable stay in every room. Enjoyed our stay and would be back for sure.

We used this house as a family base for a family wedding held nearby. Location was perfect for our needs and gave us enough space to all be together for multiple days. Very responsive host and easy check in!

this was the perfect cottage. didn't matter where you were you always had a view of the lake. beautiful dock for boats and a beautiful dock for relaxing on or to swim from. it was so relaxing and peaceful. watching the hummingbirds at the feeder was such a beautiful touch. sitting in the beautiful Adirondack chairs having my morning tea was fantastic. we even got a visit from an otter who just did his thing on the deck while we watched him from the big livingroom window. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for relaxation and peace. the pictures don't do it justice. the host is great. the instructions we got ahead of time were great to have as we knew what we needed to bring. the place was absolutely clean. everything we needed was there. it really felt like it was my own place. the furniture and beds were all comfy. thank you thank you thank you dreamnest for sharing your place with others to experience tranquility. the name definitely suits it.

Tanners place was a perfect hideaway in nature for my son and I. His place was clean and just as described. the layout is unique and functional. Tanner and his coHost Chuck were very professional, responsive and proactive with their communications. We unfortunately had a power.outage due to a major storm during our stay and both, Tanner and Chuck handled the situation perfectly. My son and I will definitely be back and If you're looking for a quiet getaway with all the amenities and convenience of home, I can't recommend Tanners place enough.

Absolutely spectacular. Hidden gem! If you are looking for something private but still within a 15-20minute drive to groceries this is the place to stay! You won’t be disappointed. Comfortably holds a family of 6! We had an absolute blast! Stunning property and open concept cottage. Lots of natural light and gorgeous view from the living room! The dock and wrap around deck were absolutely beautiful to enjoy for sunrise and sunset! 2 hour drive to Ottawa and 2 hours to Gatineau National Park! Highly recommend the drive into Gatineau park! And Pink Salmon trail! If you have fur babies, this park is very restricted due to the sensitive eco system! Really cute shops and restaurants in downtown Ottawa and in Gatineau Park! We absolutely will be coming back (: Thank you Rachael for being an incredible host! Very responsive to requests and very accommodating !

This was the ideal spot for our mother-daughter getaway. Brenda has made the place feel so cozy, and communication with her was a breeze. The view of the water is unbeatable, and the location is perfect for day trips to Perth, Almonte, etc. We had everything we needed and more, we highly recommend booking with Brenda!

This is a lovely house in a beautiful location! Lots of things to do outside and fully equipped kitchen and large bedrooms inside. The only issue (and it's clearly stated in the description) but not having a washing machine was definitely a drawback. We enjoyed our time and could have stayed longer!

Wow!!!! It’s even prettier than the pictures! Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. We were a large family of 8 adults and there was more than enough beds, towels, dishes, glasses, and cutlery for us all. 🙌 The kayaks were fun, the fire pit was lovely, and the dock was so picturesque. Summers in Canada = mosquitoes & blackflies, so bring bug spray and/or thermocells obviously 😉 Our host was gracious, kind, and responsive - a pleasure to deal with! We can hardly wait to visit again! 😃

One of my favourite parts was the cozy deck, where I spent hours just soaking in the scenery with a cup of coffee. We highly recommend Dylan’s idyllic lakefront place as it allowed us to enjoy a thoroughly relaxed Memorial day weekend with our adult children. While the well equipped kitchen, ample games and TVs with streaming enabled us to perfectly enjoy indoor activities when it was raining, the choice of spectacular, tranquil views and kayaking on the water was too irresistible to stay in for too long. Thank you Dylan for recommending local activities/places to explore. Hiking in Rock Dunder was truly amazing, and the Rideau canal locks were interesting. Thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of the outdoor grill and bug free option to enjoy the patio. The home is perfect for a family or group that doesn’t mind sharing one bathroom. Would love to visit again, especially knowing that Dylan may be adding improved space/bathroom to his home.

We had the best time at Mark's cottage. This was the absolute perfect place for our weekend getaway! The vintage motif was very well done. It was vintage but with modern touches. Everything was in great shape, clean and they thought of all of the little touches that make a stay memorable. We will certainly be back. Thank you so much for a great stay!
