Holiday rentals with a kayak in Westlake Corner

We had a great stay at this home at SML! Having the pool across the street was so convenient, and it was a very quick drive to the community marina and lakeside amenities. The home was exactly as described and included all the necessary touches to make us feel at home. Would definitely return!

More than exceeded our expectations! Even more beautiful than the pictures! We wish we had found this place when our first of 3 went to Liberty University, rather than for the graduation of our youngest. Our stay was too short to fully enjoy all the fun things to do ie on the lake and campfire. We felt like we could spread out with the four different patios/ porches, yet we could all come together and spend time in the extra large family room. Great place to walk - absolutely gorgeous! This place is amazing!!

We enjoyed our family getaway at SML! This home was better than expected! It was clean and had plenty of room for 2 families. The location was perfect! It’s tucked away in a private cove which made floating at the dock very peaceful! We’ve stayed on many parts of the lake, but this was by far our favorite location! We will definitely be returning! Thank you for opening your home to us!

We had a great stay at the Karma Trailer! We found it to be perfectly situated. We spent a few days immersing ourselves in all the culture of Floyd! The music, food & shopping are all unique and wonderful! It was so convenient to stay right in the middle of it all! We also drove 40 mins into Blacksburg a few days to take in the town there. The trailer itself is funky and charming! The beds are really comfortable and the showers have great water pressure & plenty of hot water! Added bonus we were able to bring our dog. There is a park right next door making late night & early morning doggy walks easy. There is plenty of on street parking. Yes there is some road noise, we noticed it was more so during the week nights then the weekend. Lots of trucks rolling by but it didn't disturb us one bit, no braking or horns just the rhythm of them driving past. We look forward to staying again someday!

Such a beautiful place to stay! The view of the lake was amazing! Place was clean and there were many little welcome items that we appreciated very much! The house was nice and comfortable. We felt right at home. Not too far from stores, restaurants, and a couple of cute coffee shops! We wish we could have stayed here longer and would definitely stay here again when in the area!

We really enjoyed our stay, weather was not so great but we had 1 great day on the lake. Beautiful hardwood floors and spacious bedrooms! Great covered slip for our boat and great views from Condo. I would highly recommend 5⭐️

Had such a great stay at this house. Beautiful scenery, lots of porch and outdoor space, relatively private from neighboring homes. Bedrooms and amenities were as described. Kitchen was pretty well stocked w/ cooking implements and whatnot. Elizabeth is a super responsive, friendly host that made us all feel at home. Would def go back!

This is the perfect little getaway! The views were gorgeous and the cottage/cabin was so cozy. I’d go back here in a heart beat! They also had the town of Roanoke that is a little drive but had a pinball museum that was a blast as well! It was so lovely and the drive there was so much fun winding through such a peaceful area.

This was the perfect rural place for our vacation! We picked it specifically for its many options for entertainment there at the house with local places to hike. In the end, we thoroughly enjoyed the private swimming hole and relaxing to the sound of the creek. The drive to historic sites from the place was beautiful! I was quite impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was, including spices beyond salt and pepper. We were also pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the beds were. We did have a couple of hiccups during our stay, but Scott was very prompt and responsive in going above and beyond our expectations. He deserves 10 stars as a host! I would be very happy to rent from him and Penny again!

This was our second time staying at Nautical Nook, we absolutely love it here. Truly is a very special place.

Ben was a perfect host. Very communicative and will do whatever it takes to make the stay as good as possible. Beautiful property and very cool layout with multiple dwellings on the property. So many beds! Great lakefront just an easy walk down from the main house. The deck with fire pit and outdoor TV along with the wiffle ball field make for a great place to hangout and spend the day with your group! Would definitely book again!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cottage for the weekend. It was clean and private, but also close to all the local shops and restaurants. Perfect house for a small family, the kayak's we're a lot of fun and my girls had fun swimming and floating around the dock. We would definitely consider renting again!

Really beautifully done home in the woods. Hot tub was great. About 1 hour and 15 minutes to Virginia Tech on windy roads, a little tense driving but beautiful landscape. House was immaculate, thank you!

Our family had a fabulous time at One the Rocks. The setting was gorgeous, the kids loved the boathouse set-up and the house was very well stocked with everything we needed to make Easter dinner. We loved having the flexibility of the other cabin when our group grew. We hope to come back next year!

Excellent all around. I had a very restful weekend at Christina’s cabin. The location was beautiful, and the cabin itself was more comfortable and well-appointed than I expected, while still retaining a rustic, woodsy charm. Directions and instructions were clear and easy to follow, and Christina was very responsive when I had questions. I highly recommend purchasing eggs and whatever seasonal produce is on offer. I was lucky enough to be here in strawberry and asparagus season myself! Christina’s place is definitely going on my list of favorite places to stay in Virginia.

What a beautiful little cabin! We had a lovely time at Stephen’s place. The cabin itself is spotless inside and out (not an easy task in the midst of nature). The creek and surrounding mountains are so beautiful and peaceful. The hike at nearby Roaring Run was an amazing find—one of the best in VA. Stephen was an excellent host and very responsive to any questions we had. Overall, a great experience—highly recommended.

This place was heavenly! The home is beautiful, the amenities Taylor provides are endless (spices, towels, toiletries, etc), and we had such a fun stay here. It rained for most of our stay but the covered patio allowed us to still spend hours outside. When we weren’t on the porch we were using the game room or cuddled up on the couch. We cannot wait to come back. If you have a chance- eat at Vinny’s! We went back 2x

We had a magical weekend at Blue Ridge Beech Cabin! This place offers the perfect escape to unplug and recharge. Every detail—inside and out—was stunning, and the cabin’s charm made us feel like we were in an enchanted forest dream. We loved the cozy kitchen, the artistic touches everywhere, the view from the deck, and the quiet of the woods. The kitchen was a joy to cook in—well-stocked, easy to clean up, and perfect for making delicious meals. Our group felt pampered the entire time. We enjoyed forest bathing on the BRBC trail, sipping coffee and soaking in the mountain views, relaxing on the bench in the woods, watching old movies on the couch, and exploring the back roads. Venturing out to Mill Creek Lake was a treat—it’s a hidden gem! We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for creating such a special place!
