House holiday rentals in Westfield

We had a great long weekend stay here to celebrate a special birthday. The weather was good so the grandchildren made full use of the pool, huge garden and tennis court - as did some of the adults. House was very clean and well equipped. Very peaceful and secluded setting - everyone said they would love to come back again.

We had a fantastic time at Dormestone House. It is an amazing property with so much space so perfect for visiting with family or friends. It was the perfect place to celebrate Christmas. Would love to go in summer when we could use all of the facilities.

We enjoyed a 3 day mini break at the Calf Shed cottage with our 2 children and dog. The cottage itself was nice with open plan kitchen and comfy seating area, and a private garden area which was great for the kids and dog. A big bonus was the heated pool with stunning views. The weather was not great but the heated pool meant we could still use it, which is a short walk from the cottage. The kids also enjoyed the trampoline and table tennis. The main barn was not rented during our stay which meant we had sole use of the pool and play equipment. There was no welcome pack/booklet however the host Alison was quick to respond to questions (wifi password, bin locations, etc). Other comments is the double bed was actually 2 single beds which the kids commandeered and signs of wear and tear here and there. However overall a pleasant trip.

We absolutely loved our stay and will be booking again. The space was clean, warm and very spacious up and downstairs. The design and decor was on another level. We couldn’t get over the beautiful chandelier. We were greeted with fruits and milk on arrival in the large kitchen. Ahead of our journey we were given clear directions to the property. Access was easy and there were clear instructions for the sauna, pool etc. We used the sauna daily. It’s was huge and looked brand new. We were be able to watch the kids swim in the pool from the sauna. The kids absolutely loved the pool and took every opportunity day and night to swim. It really was a bonus to have our own pool. 5 of us stayed for a week and there was enough space in the fridge and freezer for all of our food. I have already recommended the space to my friends.

Jane was a brilliant host. Responsive, professional and very friendly. The cottage was clean, had everything you’d need and more! The pool and hot were definitely the highlight! Thank you for a lovely stay :)

The barn was beautiful, we had such a lovely stay. The decor was stunning and there was lots of special touches that made our stay more comfortable. Michelle was very good at communicating with us and the main owner of the barn met us on out first day and gave us lots of useful information regarding the barn the sites and walks around the area. We would definitely love to come back in the future.

A really unique place in lovely grounds. As a family with young children the facilities made the stay for us. The Wing itself is nice full of character in terms of the architecture and decor. The place was clean, comfortable beds, kitchen had the essentials. Only thing I’d say is the bathroom and kitchen could do with a simple modernisation but really nothing to worry about, everything worked fine. The family say they would return so that’s the ultimate verdict.

We had an extremely pleasant time during our stay. While booking I didn’t realize that there was no cooking range at the accomodation . We wanted some eggs for breakfast, Miles was extremely helpful. He made some mouth watering scrambled eggs for us. Thank you Miles for that.. really appreciate it . The surrounding place is extremely peaceful and scenic. Fantastic accommodation, had everything we needed for the 2 nights for us 5 ladies including a great breakfast tray with sausages, bacon, eggs, black pudding, beans, bread rolls. Very clean and modern, lovely big shower. Wood burning hot tub and visiting horses over the fence.

Absolutely charming and spacious house in a beautiful setting. Charlie was very responsive to my numerous inquiries about things to do in the area. We also really appreciated the well stocked kitchen. The house is even more beautiful than the photos. Definitely recommend. Would love to stay again.

Garry was a great host with an amazing garden. The room is tucked away in nature away from Hastings. He was really helpful and responsive. Would stay again and will refer to friends.

The house is stunning, the layout is perfect and was spotless. Level 1 kitchen/lounge/outdoor balcony. Level 2 bedrooms. Level 3 attic room with chairs, binoculars and great views (each level has great views!) We were a group of 4 although if 8, the size and layout would have allowed us to have our own space. The bedrooms, 2 with en-suites, a large family bathroom and all with sea views. Watching sunrise over the ocean and the dawn morning bird chorus transported me to tropical holiday vibes. The house overlooks gardens, bluebells and iris were in bloom. Down the house steps and after about 50 metres you are on the sea wall/beach. Jo and Andrew have been great hosts, great communication prior to our trip and provided a welcome pack of really useful local information, thank you for the snacks and wine. Relaxing on the balcony, watching the ocean and world go by was the perfect way to start the trip. If I ever return to Hastings, first stop would be to try and rebook this AirBNB

We head down to the Sussex coast for a family weekend. It was built around a gift of a visit to Tillingham winery. Castle Fort matched our expectations perfectly…. Sea views and sounds, huge open planning living area, very appointed…. A home from home by the sea It was practically perfect. We had one small hiccup. I think we were the first guests for quite a while and the water system pressure was low, which challenged us on the first night but Georgina stepped up and we solved the problem This is a perfect spot if you want to explore the delights of Rye, what a find Very comfortable with everything you could ever want in a holiday let Definitely will return

Our stay was wonderful. The house had everything we needed and loads more for a group of two families including 4 adults, 3 teens and 2 dogs staying for a week. The beds were comfortable and the living spaces were big with plenty of furniture and the kitchen had everything you could possibly want. The garden was also immaculate and very peaceful and we enjoyed the hot tub and table tennis and all the music/instruments. The village is also lovely with a handy shop and bakery and was in the perfect location for us, close to Hastings, Rye and Battle. A very special week :0)

A lovely house in a lovely location, if you like walks, vineyards and a trip to the beach! A little challenging if you don’t have a car but we still managed ok with various taxi companies available in the area, but best to pre-book your trips just in case. There is a pub and shop across the road so you won’t get stuck for provisions! Very responsive host, would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. Julia has a lovely home and the photos don’t do it justice. Easy check-in instructions. Julia was quick to answer a query I had before our stay. Great location and a nice walk down to the Old Town. Would definitely recommend.

On arrival we were a bit concerned that the driveway and entrance were a bit unkempt but don’t let those first impressions put you off. Once you get inside the house is great and just like the pictures. The open plan kitchen, dining, lounge and conservatory was great for our family weekend away. Even though we didn’t cook, the kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of chairs to sit outside. The view from the top of the garden is amazing. Rebecca was helpful in allowing us a slightly earlier check in and providing taxi numbers to get into Hastings.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - location suitable for our dog as very peaceful rural setting. The kitchen was also well stocked and the lounge comfortable. Also ideally situated to visit local National Trust properties in this part of Kent - information regarding local pubs shops etc very helpful - we would consider returning .

We had a wonderful stay, everything was perfect! The only downside was parking and the narrow street is generally jammed packed so had to park a few streets away. Aside from that we had a wonderful time (and very grateful for coffee machine). We were in Hastings for my mother’s funeral and this lovely home provided a safe and comforting environment to come home to. Thank you for a fantastic stay 💕

A great Airbnb in Hastings - close to the rest of town, large and with excellent ameneities. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds, the shower I used was one of the best I've ever used, and the area was fairly quiet after about 10/11pm. An excellent choice.

Great place and great location, close to Rye, the beach and to plenty of farm animals :)

The cottage was very clean,tidyycosy and welcoming, beds and sofa were comfortable. My only negative was that bedroom 2 lacked a mirror. Other than that, great 😃

50th birthday weekend celebrations. Four couples and we stayed Fri to Sun. Beautiful property, ultra high quality and so very well laid out. We were so fortunate to stay during a mini heatwave which made us feel like we were abroad! There's so much space for everyone and everything you could want from a place. The description and photos is totally representative of what you get. Perfect for beautiful Rye and nearby Hastings and so close to the M25 and surrounding area. There was a minor issue with the water supply on the first night and following morning but this was proactively managed by the host who went above and beyond. This issue was not of their causing and nothing to do with the property but nonetheless they made sure we were OK and the communication was first class. We had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful property and it's a top recommendation from us!
