Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Western Tobago

Stayed: April 9–11 SugarSands Villa was absolutely excellent! We stayed with 5 adults and three children under the age of 10, and it was the perfect place for a family getaway. The villa was spotlessly clean, and had every appliance you could think of — including a washing machine and dryer, which was super helpful with the kids. The beds were very comfortable, and we had access to cable and internet, which kept everyone entertained when we weren’t in the beautiful, well-maintained pool. The surroundings were clean and peaceful, and we felt right at home. The location is ideal — just 2 minutes from the airport, which made traveling with young kids so much easier. Overall, SugarSands Villa was a dream. Comfortable, convenient, and family-friendly. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We stayed here as a group of 9 adults with two infants, and it was honestly the perfect place for us. The house was super spacious and comfortable. Everyone had their own room and bathroom, which made things so much easier. We never felt cramped at all, even with a big group. The infinity pool was definitely a highlight! We spent so much time out there just relaxing and taking in the beautiful views. It was peaceful, private, and exactly what we needed. The home had everything we needed for a smooth and stress-free stay, and it was also great for the little ones. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Would 100% come back and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing Tobago getaway.

My family stayed at Kias as a surprise Tobago trip to my son for his 5th birthday ( he loves the island). Our stay was so comfortable that my son kept calling it his home. He especially liked the pool, which served not only as a relaxing and fun place but as a time for him and his dad to have one on one non-professional swimming lessons. Karen, our host not only provided a home away from home but ensured that we had the amenities and items to make this statement a reality. My family, including my in laws was happy with their stay. I will definitely recommend Kias as an Airbnb.

Great location. Beach is close. Seahorse Inn is an incredible restaurant and steps away. Villa had great outdoor space. The pool was incredible. The villa and area felt very safe. Katy-Ann (house keeper) was very delightful. The kitchen was very well equipped and we made good use of it :-) I would gladly stay here again anytime!

Beautiful spot for a big group of friends or family. Private, spacious and in a safe neighborhood. Shannon and her team were always responsive, helpful and accommodating throughout the stay. Note there is only AC in the bedrooms but there are fans in the main spaces. The place is equipped with all the things you will need for your stay. Closest grocery store is about a 10 minute drive, but there is also a hotel in walking distance which has a restaurant and buffet. Many local beaches which are also about a 10/15 minute drive away (Pigeon Point, Mount Irvine…).

Kates place is beautifully peacefull. Plenty of grounds to wander around and wonder at the magnificent nature. There is a beautiful mango tree in the garden and an array of exquisite flowers. There are lizards and birds to share the outside space with, even a couple of wooden swings to sit in and listen to the sounds of nature like the creaking of giant bamboo or the morning and evening chachalaca's. The inside space is spacious and comfortable. Open plan. You can open multiple doors in the morning to get that inside outside feeling. Slow driving along the track then easy parking. Communication with Kate was easy and informative. Jason has a winning smile and had all the time to show us around the space. Highly recommended.

We loved the view from upstairs, enjoyed swimming in the pool, and had a great time hanging out at night. The location was perfect for us, especially since we had vehicles to get around. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, and we really appreciated your quick responses and helpful recommendations. Thanks again for everything!

Very beautiful and peaceful place ! My entire family enjoyed the time at this location!! Very easy access to the beach/restaurants bars, etc. I look forward to coming again. Even went out of their way to come. Meet me at the port to say goodbye and give a little token which I thought was really beautiful. Thank you so much for a wonderful time at your villa . I highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone very relaxing indeed…(thank you for the fruit baskets that we were greeted with when we arrived) I will be back for sure if you have us ! Don’t question yourself about the place definitely book it you’re gonna be very happy!

I had such a wonderful time at the Castara Inn. It was my first time spending time in Castara and their accommodations were just beautiful... I was fortunate enough to view most of theirs spaces....all lovely layouts (with especially unique and spacious bathrooms... difficult to describe...better experienced in person 😉😊) with beautiful decor and calming color schemes, not to mention, the scenic views...the hills, the lovely sea, the trees and hammocks, the sound of the waves crashing....this was just the perfect getaway spot to rest, relax, recoup, reconnect, reset, and to just pamper one's self. But what is more than this, was experience with my hosts: Rhonda (who went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and had a wonderful time during my stay), Hema (who was always warm and beaming with smiles...very helpful and hospitable) and Mike also (he, the same) . After just my 1st day (of seven), I realized that this team of persons were more like family as I observed their interactions, and by the end of my week, I left feeling like family too. Just lots of warmth, love, friendliness, great communication, laughs and humor, encouragement and support in accomplishing the goals for my getaway... I could not be more appreciative... I even got a tour of the town and a boat ride along the coast and visit to Cotton Bay, which was also very fun. So thank you all so much for the wonderful experience that I had and all that you have done to make it what it was. It was a blessing to have met and spent the time with you all.

Extremely easy to work with, totally honest, very large and Clean property. Response time was amazing for any small problems encountered. Very nice staff. Get the Bang for The Buck.

Where do I begin? We loved everything about our stay a Pride of Courtland. You have to see this place in person, it is even more beautiful in person that what the pictures convey. Waking up every morning to the breathtaking view of the ocean from the balcony was amazing. Narisha was a very gracious and accommodating hostess. We arrived late in the evening, but it was no problem as Narisha made us feel very welcome. We were provided with an abundance of everything that we needed to feel comfortable for our entire stay. Starting with the welcome breakfast basket to towels and beach towels. We had everything that we needed. Pride of Courtland will be my first choice for future trips to Tobago.

No frills accommodation within an easy walk to the beach. The apartment was exceptionally clean. The host was responsive to messages, and his family, particularly good grandchildren, were extremely welcoming on arrival. It all contributed towards a very relaxing weekend break

We loved this amazing little home in the jungle. It’s very cozy! All of the amenities are great. Everything was clean and as described. The AC, fan and wifi also worked seamlessly. The walk to town is beautiful. We loved our daily exercise through the village to get to the beach and back. Castara feels safe and friendly. It’s stunning. We hope to come back!

We had an issue with the original airbnb which we booked. I sent andrew a message late in the evening trinidad time asking if he could accommodate us at short notice. Within minutes he responded to our last minute booking request and put us on the the local caretaker who warmly recieved us. We were so very grateful. Our stay at castara inn turned out to be the highlight of our trip, and we will definitely be returning. Everything was super clean and the finishings looked new. My favorite feature was the shower - definitely was surprised by the luxuries in this little inn :) The online visitor photos do not do the place justice.

It’s a beautiful house, that needs minor cosmetic repairs. Gillian and her staff were very helpful and accommodating. The one issue I had was the marketing was a bit misleading, the house is really a 4 bedroom that accommodates 2 adults in each room, and a junior bedroom that was probably a maids quarters that would accommodate a child and should have a twin and not a full bed for the room to function as it should. Needless to say not having the fifth bedroom for two of the adults that was supposed to share with us created an embarrassment but it all worked out in the end. Lastly the dryer is very noisy, so beware. Beyond that it’s a lovely house and very well located near the beach and golf course, I would definitely recommend it.
