Holiday rentals with a kayak in Western Australia

Cosy and homely accom. Kids felt right at home and had sufficient amenities and space for wholesome stay for the family. It was a pity it rained quite a bit so we couldn’t use the verandah for outdoor bbq experience. Andrea also responds very quickly, so no qualms!

Welcoming and accommodating. We were offered an early check-in but when we said we’d be arriving after dark they made sure the lights were on and the fire crankin so it was nice and cosy! There was everything we could need. It was private and peaceful. We’d definitely like to go back

I had an amazing week's holiday with my dog in this amazing house, stunning location and views, the sunrises were especially fabulous, couch, chairs and bed all super comfy, perfect temperature inside (I was expecting it to be a bit cool end of May but the house was very cleverly built and mostly keeps a nice temperature inside). Visits from colourful parrots and lovely song birds. So peaceful and quiet and a short walk to the very pretty Short Beach. Absolutely recommend spending a whole week to really enjoy the place and fully recharge your batteries!

The house is phenomenally well-appointed, so we immediately felt very at home, and realistically could’ve arrived empty-handed (there’s games for the kids, a cabana and kayak for the beach, wireless phone chargers on all the bedsides, and the kitchen is even stocked with everything you need to blend, bake, and barbecue). The beach is also only a short stroll away, which meant we could easily nip down several times a day without any fuss — even with a pram, toddler, and pooch in tow. For anyone travelling with small dogs, the garden is completely enclosed by solid walls, which is a big bonus, as there’s no way for them to escape (plus the rear deck gets warm sun all day too, which our little sausage basically napped on for 3 days straight!). It’s a bit cliche to say, but we’ll genuinely come back to stay again.

Great spacious, modern property. It had everything we needed. Perfect for a few families with seperate living area for kids. Outdoor area fantastic too with spa, BBQ and large grassed area. A great base to explore Busselton and the South West. A little noisy on Bussell Hwy in front bedrooms, other than that perfect. Thanks for a great stay

The apartment was amazing, one of the best I have personally lived in. Locality was good, close proximity to a decent restaurant/bar and busselton. Apartment was filled with board games and xbox for those we prefer to be indoors. There is kayaks for those that prefers otherwise. Cool place

Josh’s place has all the things you need to live comfortably - whether to bbq, cook a good dinner, spending time with your family - just everything. Josh is very helpful, sincere and detailed. We are very grateful for the things he provided like rods, little kick scooter and beach chairs. Place was pretty and peaceful too. Will definitely be back. Thanks again, Josh!

Lovely area of WA, so nice to be in nature, feeding the horses was definately a highlight!

This is easily one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. The glowing reviews are justified. The place feels even better in person, than it looks in the pics. Amazing hosts - friendly, helpful and generous. So much to do at the farm, but also close to many attractions. If you want to be in a modern, peaceful place, close to nature, this is it. We had a great couple of nights stay in the Wagon-Lit. Situated up high, you meander your way up quite a steep path and cobbled steps through beautiful garden surroundings to the unique converted railway carriage that looks out west through the forest trees. We were 2 single adults and a 1 year old puppy. It was the puppy’s first experience in such a setting and we all loved being able to walk/run free around the private trails and gardens. Oh and being able to have a dip in the jacuzzi was a lovely luxury during these cooler winter days. Thank you Junko and your team for providing such a unique memorable experience.

We stayed a week at Angela's place and it was so perfect we are returning next month for another 6 nights. We found we could relax so easily there - just watching the wildlife on the lake - the ducks, swans and fish. It is an area were not familiar with - so exploring the interesting walks along the Murray River and the Estuary was amazing. There are some terrific eateries close by and Angela had lots of info about the local attractions, restaurants and pubs with menus. The house was just as described - very comfy with lots and lots of very welcome extras. We took our 14 year old Lakeland Terrier with us and he loved being there - so thank you so much Angela for giving people, and their dogs, the opportunity to be in this fabulous location. Julie

We absolutely loved our stay—it’s a private and peaceful spot right on the lake. The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having access to the kayaks was a great bonus, and we really enjoyed kayaking on the beautiful lake. Only wished we could’ve got a booking when it was warmer weather so we could have gone swimming too. Hopefully next time!

Perfect place in a traditionally Polish style decorated place. The place was immaculately clean and very quiet. Warm welcome from both (chatty) hosts who live next door, but respect privacy. Very generous breakfast. The place is as described. Full kitchen. Amazing walks in the area. Well worth the $$. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay at Gabrielle’s A-Frame, and could feel how special this place was and is. The property was perfect for us and our little heeler, and it was beautiful to wake up to nature each morning. We highly recommend, and are so grateful we stayed here.

Las Casitas No. 1 was a very comfortable, peaceful, and clean cabin with beautiful surrounds. We really appreciated the welcome gift of Eggs, Wine and other treats and Frida was very helpful throughout our stay.

You are really spoilt for choice as you can stay in and enjoy the cabin as there are toys for little kids with an amazing playground or bigger kids with a shed full of toys such as pool table, bikes and a kayak etc. Or you have the choice of what we did as we chose to use the cabin as a base and adventure out in nearby Dwellinup for the walk trails and then return at night and enjoy dinner in front of the fire and enjoy the stars and the quiet albeit a few cows and horses saying hello which made the experience. The hosts are very welcoming and we will definitely be staying again.

Simply stunning! If you love peace, natural beauty and a carefully crafted rustic retreat, this is for you. Spacious living areas and seamless indoor outdoor flow. Lovely bathrooms and kitchen, which was well equipped. The private studio was a treat. Very comfy beds and quality linens. Overall, highly recommended and we are already planning our next stay!

Place was as described and Frida was very helpful and responsive - we had an issue with no hot water on arrival but Frida was available right away via messaging app on Airbnb and came to check out the issue right away and had an on site electrician who rectified the issue within the hour. Very helpful and didn’t bother us at all except when we asked for assistance throughout the duration of the stay. Beautiful property really has made it a place where you can get away and not leave the property only if you want to go out for dinner or get food. Bobo style secluded tent area, private right near a dam with 2 x kayaks available also. Could tell Frida had a clear vision and she created this. Thanks again !
