Apartment holiday rentals in West Suffolk District

Excellent property. We were a family group of 9, 6 adults and 3 children, aged 12,7,and 1. Accomodation was well suited for this group. Baby gate at the top of the stairs along with travel cot and baby toys. Bedrooms spacious and beds comfortable. Kitchen small, but fine for cooking breakfast, although grilling bacon in the oven under a smoke detector can be noisy at times. Pub downstairs is lovely and although we didn't eat there, the food looked excellent. Situated in a quiet village just outside Bury St.Edmunds, this place would be ideal for exploring the area. A lovely quirky little place. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The space on the mezzanine bedroom is very tight but we soon got used to it. Lovely complimentary welcome basket.

Chrissy is such a thoughtful host and the property is just perfect - the private outdoor courtyard is a great place to chill. Loved it!

We had a brilliant weekend staying at Duxford Church. The hosts were fantastic - clear and thoughtful with all instructions sent well ahead of our stay, which made everything seamless from the start. They also left us a much needed welcome package, such a lovely touch ☺️. We didn’t need to contact them at all during our stay, as everything was perfectly prepared and in place. Duxford is a quaint little place that we really enjoyed exploring. All in all, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely place to stay, the hosts were friendly and welcoming and the rental unit is perfect for a weekend stay. It has everything you could need and is modern and cosy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking in the area.

Cannot fault these lodges or michelle as a host. Everything was perfect, clean, comfortable and the lodges definitely have that added feel of luxury. Will 100% be returning. Thank you apple tree lodges for a perfect break. Beautiful lodges in a beautiful location.

This space is an ABSOLUTELY GEM of a find! I ended up with a prolonged stay of about 2.5 months and it was a joy to have this space to stay in and work from. The hosts were receptive, proactive, friendly and supportive. I have nothing negative at all to say about my stay and can’t think of anything that would have made my stay more enjoyable. 5 stars easily!

20 years ago we were married at Layer Marney Towers and returning to stay at Nicholas' Airbnb was an anniversary present to my husband. We had not visited since we were married so really appreciated being able to explore the grounds and gardens in peace to relive our memories and re-create some of our wedding pics. Nicholas very kindly opened up the room where we said our vows all those years ago. The space itself was charming and romantic and so so quiet (unless you count the chattering of jackdaws and bleatings of the sheep!) We slept well on the comfy 4-poster bed and enjoyed exploring some of the footpaths from the door to Aberton Reservoir and the Hare & Hounds at Birch. I really hope we do not leave it another 20 years before returning. This really is a very special place.

Ok, so James's place is immaculate, new, purpose-designed, tasteful, spacious (for a studio). This is exactly what an Airbnb should be. Everything is thought through, and yet it is quite minimal, which is just right. It's on the owners premises, but you don't notice that. It has it's own separate building. If I had to quibble it would be churlish - It's so smart it made me want to leave it perfectly behind me. Found myself cleaning up more than I would. :-). Fulbourn has really nice walks and a big recreation ground for exercise. Nice woods a short walk/jog away. Short of good food in the village. One pub shut down and another rather 'deep fried food' style. There's a third I have yet to try. (Next time). Price is a little on the high side for a studio, but as I chose it instead of the more expensive and awful Holiday Inn Express, I'm quite satisfied with the price too. It is Cambridge after all. I'll be back very soon, if he'll have me.

Very clean, light and airy studio apartment in a great location. Ten minutes walk across the meadow into the centre of Cambridge. Several decent restaurants and a riverside pub in the immediate vicinity - Sala Thong thai was particular good. Apartment was exactly as described and entry/departure instructions were clear. Great to have free private parking.

I found the apartment the perfect solution to staying close to the hospital while my husband was staying for major surgery. My family visitors that came during the stay were able to spend time with me in a peaceful environment before going over to the hospital which again was perfect. Overall I had responses to any questions really quickly with no concerns over the quality of the apartment. It was peaceful, clean, bright and with all you need for easy living. My only suggestion would be an addition of a dress mirror, as it's good to know if you look ok for the day !

It was absolutely wonderful. Everything was spotless and smelled great. All the facilities were in excellent condition. The lodge had a large, beautiful yard with a private entrance, and the hosts were incredibly kind and respectful. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay—I highly recommend it!

We had a fabulous stay at Lime Tree lodge! So nice to enjoy the hot tub in the evening and relax. Very peaceful and comfortable. Thank you!

This property was very clean throughout. Overall a very well thought out home with a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for those weekend cooking great food with family and friends. With both a comfortable snug around the log burner downstairs and a lovely airy sitting room upstairs with vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, there’s plenty of space to enjoy your time here. A notable mention to how comfortable the beds were at Pelican Lodge. It has gated, off road parking for 2 cars, while the rear garden is secure so you can let the dog roam worry free. The wood fired hot tub and kamado bbq completed what we thought was a brilliant home for the weekend. Would 100% recommend.

Anna’s was such a wonderful place to stay for a few days. Very private and quiet, but close to so many attractions if one decided to be adventurous. The space was clean, warm and welcoming. And the hot tub was just the icing on the cake after a long day exploring. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend to friends and family.

Stunning views from an equally stunning property ...it is as the pictures describe . So beautiful . (The hot tub is easy to light , we used 4 woodies firelighters to get it going but had we not have read previous reviews we probably wouldnt have taken the logs , you will need 4 bags ) The hosts are both lovely and very helpful..Lovely walks from the property , to the tiny village and down to the estuary.....Thank you for letting us have a share in the beauty of this place. We look forward to returning.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying here for a quick getaway, and it was a true home away from home. The space was beautifully decorated, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay special. We loved the jacuzzi and upper deck area that really allowed us to take in the sun and beautiful scenery. Our hosts were outstanding - warm, communicative, and ready to assist when we had questions. You can tell they genuinely care about creating a wonderful experience for their guests. This was one of those stays that left us feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of our return. This place really has it all and we cannot recommend it enough. Thank you again for such a memorable stay - we will definitely be back!
