The Hayloft Withypool, Exmoor

MattRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This accommodation is beautifully located to explore Exmoor. The room itself is wonderfully clean, quiet, and comfortable. An excellent assortment of breakfast items were provided (I'm a big fan of the scones!), and Lynda is a clear communicator and very good host. We especially liked the little library of books focused on the history and sights of the local area.

Our second stay at The Dog House over New Year. Great accommodation, good position for pubs and local shops. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did with friends.

Centuries old farmhouse in Exford, Somerset

JeanetteRating, 5 stars2 days ago
A beautiful house, well equipped and spacious, absolutely stunning gardens. We had a lovely family weekend. The kids loved the hot tub and the games room. Was great to have room to spend time together as a large group but all have our own rooms and bathrooms. Host was friendly, we had a bit of a mission finding the location, postcode was a little ambiguous (ignore the sign on the right for pitsworthy cottages) and keep going! Worth the country drive it really is a lovely house with beautiful paintings, clean spacious rooms tastefully decorated. Everything worked and we had all we needed, and could have done with a week to sit in the window seat and tackle some of that library. Board games were great fun we had an epic game of risk. All in a very lovely family weekend in a beautiful place.

Oxford House

BenRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Oxford House was an ideal venue for our New Year trip to Porlock. It’s very central, nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. There is only one loo to accommodate six guests, but this was the only downside of the property which was attractive and spacious with a lovely kitchen/diner arrangement- perfect for a group of friends. There are several restaurants and pubs in walking distance as well as a gallery downstairs and some beautiful buildings in the village. The wonderful hamlet of Porlock Weir with more shops, cafes and pubs is only a short drive away.

Elgin Tower - Apartment One

AlexanderRating, 5 stars2 months ago
An absolutely delightful place to stay, well hosted by Maureen. The garden is magnificent and the views over Minehead and the coast are amazing. The inside was lovely and exactly as described, and Maureen had left some very thoughtful touches in terms of stocking the fridge etc. Thoroughly recommend, 5/5

Cosy comfortable Slice of Heaven Annex in Porlock

SusanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A perfect place to stay for a short or longer trip as Porlock is a lovely little town with plenty of amenities and lovely walks. The Nest was delightful - well equipped and comfortable with everything you need. Great hosts. A highlight was to be able to relax in the garden in the sun after a long day’s coastal walk. Thank you so much.

Worthy Manor 16C luxury suite: historic, romantic

DaviniaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely couple of nights. The location is beautiful with lots of walking straight from Worthy manor. The main bedroom is very spacious, with lovely sea views and you can hear the crashing waves. The TV is set-up with Netflix as well as lots of downloaded films and series which was great when returning tired after a day of coastal walking. The bed was also very comfy. We ate breakfast and dinner at the Bottom Ship Inn which was lovely (recommended to book for dinner).
