Holiday rentals with lake access in West Point Lake

IT WAS EVERYTHING. I truly can't think of anything more we could have wanted. Scott is friendly, accommodating and responsive. Upon arrival, Eagles Nest was warm, inviting, and welcoming. And that was just the foyer. Walking into the main area was amazing. The view is extraordinary. Sitting on the couch and looking out, you can easily imagine you're sitting at the front of a huge boat. And with the double doors open...just WOW! The beds were heavenly, the place was super clean and the kitchen was VERY well-stocked. Scott and Shanelle are so generous; they include firewood, kayaks, giant Jenga and Connect 4, cornhole and boardgames galore. Even a s'mores kit! Some highlights for us were sitting on the beautiful deck as a family one night to take in the sound of the rain against the deck's tin roof and kayaking to Goat Island. The day after returning home, we all just wanted to go back! Scott, we can't thank you enough. You set a VERY high bar! BEST. FAMILY. VACATION. EVER.

What an amazing home on the lakefront! Gorgeous views of the lake with multiple places to gather outside and take it all in. Besides spending time on the dock, we spent most of our time in the screened in "4 seasons" room enjoying coffee in the morning, meals throughout the day, cocktails at sunset, and playing games. Everything about our stay was a 5 star experience from the time we checked in until we left. Katie left clear instructions on how to check in along with some recommendations for the area. She was quick in resonding to inquiries and made us feel at home. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens were of high quality. The ping pong table was a hit along with the kayaks on the dock. All were used frequently. It was an idyllic location and the perfect family getaway for our long weekend at the lake!

beautiful place, real holiday feeling. Allison very nice and responsive host. we would go back there. as described in other review, bedrooms are smaller than on photographs. 8 persons really stretches it. you have to be very comfortable with your party.

Awesome place and even better in person than the pictures. It was perfect for our family. (Couple with 3 and 5 year old) House is basically brand new, has everything you need and everything is very clean! My kids jumped off the dock for hours and we loved every second - 5 year old cried her eyes out when we had to leave. Awesome views from the house and dock. Hosts provided very detailed info for everything you could think of. We hope to be back soon!

We stayed here with close friends for my 40th birthday. It was nothing short of perfection. I’ve been eyeballing it for a few years to host retreats and after seeing in person, I’ll definitely be back. It was beautifully decorated, the lot was amazing, and it was absolutely relaxing. We never even turned on a tv. Our friends all had lovely things to say too. It left quite an impression on us all. Also, the bedding/pillows were very comfortable, and shower toiletries were provided which was a bonus!

This was a work related stay as I was working on the nearby Logan Martin Dam. This was a great location, very close to the dam. The porch and exterior areas near the lake were beautiful. Space was ample, I'd say the only downside is no thermostat for the lower level where the apartment is located.. All said, I am going back again in a few weeks and I am looking forward to the stay.

Me and my fiancé stayed here for three months, and we absolutely loved it. The place was perfectly clean when we arrived and had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning. It is a basement apartment on the ground level of their house, and we never had any noise problems with them living above us. The neighborhood itself was so beautiful, and I always felt safe. I would highly recommend anyone to stay with Monique. She is very kind and always responded in a timely manner if I messaged her about something.

This place was everything I needed, maybe too much space for a solo traveler. There was enough space for me plus 2 -3 more comfortably. I didn’t use the kitchen or the pool on site however, both looked inviting to use. I did take a walk around the pond near by and caught a game at Truist park, also near by. I would come back

I could write an essay on how incredible this place is. The photos just won’t do it justice. It can’t capture the peace and serenity you experience. It’s only fitting because Ms.Teresa herself exudes just that. We are never choosing another place in the area as long as this is around. This is our second time here and somehow it was even better this time around. The value far exceeds the cost. Canoeing on the lake was among the most peaceful experiences I’ve had. It felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. I could go on and on about the cleanliness, the comfort, the attention to detail, but know that if you stay here you’ll leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and tranquil.

Communication with the host was smooth. Check-in was seamless with clear instructions provided ahead of time. It was clean. Would stay here again.

Kyara was a very friendly and responsive host! Even before we arrived, she responded to our questions and inquiries. The space was very clean and inviting…and also safe and secure, which was important to our group of three senior ladies. Check in and check out were easy. Very few requests upon checkout, which was nice. Hand soap and dishwashing soap are provided, but guests may want to bring their own bath soap, laundry soap, and dryer sheets. Apparently, some folks like to bring their own supplies of these things due to allergies, and personal preferences. Air B & Bs are different in what they consider standard supplies. (Kyara did bring us soap and body wash when we requested it, which we appreciated!) We had an emergency while we were in town and Kyara was more than helpful in offering assistance to help us get it resolved. She is an excellent host and will make you feel quite welcome! We would recommend the Club Cozy to friends and would stay here again!

host allowed us to check in super late after our flight was delayed, which was super helpful and nice. apartment was really nice and clean inside, tv in every room.

We LOVED this rental so much we extended our rental for the rest of our spring break. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and head to Florida but stayed 6 days at Stephanie and Chuck’s. It is a beautiful property. My kids fished and swam every day off of their fabulous dock. We rented a boat and had the best time on Lake Martin. Stephanie recommended a wonderful marina 5 minutes away. There is so much to do and see on the water. Our dog loved being able to run around, met the neighbor dogs and lay in the sun by the water. The accommodations were perfect. The kitchen is awesome. It’s fully stocked with everything you need. They really thought of everything. The laundry, extra bedding, corn hole, grilling, the fire pit, even a swim mat for the kids. The beds were so comfortable! We all felt right at home. Stephanie and Chuck are so kind, very responsive and had great recommendations. We will definitely be back.

Such a great spot on the lake and the house really takes advantage with great views from the living, dining, and kitchen areas.

Trudy’s home on the lake was the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I for the long weekend. Close proximity to a lot of natural beauty with waterfalls and hiking trails. It’s also right on the lake and I loved spending an afternoon in my hammock on the dock. The bugs stayed away until the sun started going down! This older home has lots of natural charm with sweet homey touches like extra quilts and lots of classic floral decor! I wouldn’t recommend bringing small children because there are several (adorable) decorative elements that might be prone to breakage and there is nothing preventing access to the lake once outside.

The cottage was wonderful. It felt like home. Quiet peaceful area. Close to the lake. Loved the front porch swing to enjoy the beautiful weather we had. It was equipped with everything you would need. Just like being at home. Thank you Heather for sharing the magical cottage

We adored this lake house. It was beautiful, the river was so much fun to kayak on and the large porch/patio was perfect for relaxing in the evening. We enjoyed s'mores at the fire pit and watching the sunrise from the dock. The kids enjoyed the giant Jenga set and playing Cornhole. The house easily accommodated my family for an Easter get together. 10/10 would recommend and stay again. Thank you, Kim, for such a delightful weekend getaway!

Our family enjoyed staying here. Didn’t get to spend much time in the house but it was very convenient to a family wedding at New Water Farm. We had two small issues when we arrived but Jeannie answered very quickly. Cute house in a lovely small wooded community.

This quaint little cottage was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the drive out to it. There was ample parking. A fully stocked kitchen and clean and working grill made cooking steaks from Studdadrd’s Meat Market in Alpine (excellent excellent meat) a breeze. Single person shower with all amenities listed. The downstairs bedroom is nice with a firm and bouncy bed. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay and we will be back again one day.

This was our second stay at the Architect’s Cottage. It was as peaceful and calm this time as before. The deck and lake are our favorite things but inside the house is great too: clean and cozy and beautifully appointed with unique furnishings, art and lighting. Thank you, Jennifer for making this available again for us.

We had the best weekend here celebrating our daughter’s birthday with a few of her friends. A lot of great memories were made! The home was perfect for our needs. It’s a really cute lake home and in a beautiful location. Everything was clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. Our host Ivy was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay!
