Holiday rentals with a kayak in West Hants

Had such an amazing bridal shower/bachelorette at the Luxe! Insanely beautiful, had great amenities. The power had went out & there was an issue with the water but Jolena was very responsive & had someone come fix it very quickly. Kayaking on the lake, the sauna, the hottub, great grilling area, it was all amazing for what we were looking for.

The Lily Pad was a great location for a cozy weekend getaway! Loved the views and the hot tub! The cottage was clean and warm for our stay and all the things we needed were available. Jolena checked in with us and made sure we knew she was easy to contact if needed. Thanks for the great stay!

What an absolutely beautiful home! We had the pleasure of staying here for the weekend, and it exceeded all expectations. The location is stunning, right on the water with a breathtaking view, especially from the hot tub overlooking the shoreline. The interior of the home was immaculate and thoughtfully designed, with every amenity you could possibly need. It’s clear the host has put great care into every detail, creating a warm and welcoming space. I would highly recommend this incredible spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. I’m already looking forward to returning in the future!

We had such a wonderful family gathering at the lake house. It is such a cozy cottage and guesthouse with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We've stayed at Airbnb's before, but this one supplied above and beyond our expectations. 13 of us were comfortably accommodated, with an extra mattress and blankets supplied for an additional bed for our youngest child. The kids had a blast with the lake right there and had such fun with the kayak and pedal-boat. There was even a little kids' table and chairs for them inside with colouring books and such thoughtfully supplied. Andrew was quick to respond to any questions and really made our stay an enjoyable one. If you want an absolutely beautiful peaceful place to stay with reasonable distance to some amazing sightseeing destinations, this is the place to choose!

Lovely spot, weather was hot so the cool breeze from the lake was very welcoming. Lots of thought has gone into providing all the comforts of home. Lots of board games , cards etc and selection of kids toys and drawing materials . Extra thoughtful touches , a welcoming bottle of wine , coffee pods, condiments etc Having the use of kayaks was great and life jackets also provided . A very calm relaxing feel to the cottage , we loved it!

We had a wonderful weekend at Martin's cottage. It was an idyllic cottage experience. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings with lots of nature (loons, ducks and frogs ). It is a great place to relax. There is a good swimming area and the lake was nice and warm. I will return next time I'm in Nova Scotia!

We loved this location! As a group of middle aged men looking for a simple retreat, this location was easily accessible, offered lots of beds, and had every convenience included.

We had a fantastic family weekend at this place and the private beach in the backyard was top notch. There was enough shallow water in the front where our kiddo had a blast splashing around and playing by the water. Surroundings were calm and quiet and it was perfect for our weekend family getaway. Though the weather was bit rough at times, we had a memorable stay here and would definitely come back.

Overall, Excellent place! I had an amazing stay! The place was exactly as described clean, cozy, and in a great location. The host was super responsive and made check-in a breeze. All the little touches, from the comfy bed to the well-stocked kitchen, made it feel like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

To say we were satisfied is an understatement. We most definitely will be booking again to utilize in the summer season. We rented this time to be closer to the venue holding my sons wedding, and having such a wonderful home and hosts made is so much easier on us ❤️

Me and my GF stayed here for 2 nights and from the moment we arrived we felt we made the right choice booking this beautifully located cabin by the lake. Everything was as described. Tina was an exceptional host who made us feel welcomed. This little slice of paradise was secluded enough to offer peace and quiet yet close enough to wolfville and surrounding areas to go out and enjoy some nice food at the local restaurants. Id highly recommend this spot if youre looking for a nice relaxing weekend by the lake to kick back and unwind.

The cottage and the area is absolutely lovely. It is quiet, and private. You fee like you're away from civilization which is absolutely what we wanted. We did a low key baby shower girl's trip and we had a great time. There's lots of space, lots of games to play and records to listen to. Not to mention the movie screen in the one bedroom is a perfect touch! I enjoyed it Friday night, before the girls arrived the next day. The only "negative" of our trip wasn't something the host had control over and that was the weather. Listening to the rain and vinyls is one of my favorite things. We did wish we could have enjoyed the fire pit and the lake more. Maybe next time!!! ❤️ If there are 6 of you, keep in mind the kitchen table only has 4 chairs. But you could probably bring the chairs in front outside (we couldn't because of the rain). Amazing spot, clean, fully equipped, and everything you would want. 100% will rebook in the future.

Was looking for a peaceful weekend away and that is exactly what we got! Beautiful and private spot. Scott has clearly put in a lot of effort to make your stay comfortable. The house had absolutely everything we needed. Would definitley stay again.

This place was absolutely amazing and picture perfect, with private back dock, lake with canoe and kayak. Inside was new, clean, and had all amenities needed for a getaway away from home. Will defiantly rebook again.
