Available from Monday 4th July 2022 Gorgeous fully renovated detached cottage in the heart of the bustling seaside village of Seahouses. The property has undergone extensive renovation to provide a stylish, luxury four bedroom, four bathroom cottage with sunny gardens to the front and rear. A spacious open plan living, dining, kitchen with bi fold doors leading on to the garden with sunny patio, provides the ideal sociable living space for a holiday with family or friends. At Saltwell Cottage, there are four bedrooms, three king size with en-suite bathrooms and a twin (full size adult singles) which has use of the family bathroom together with free standing bath and walk in shower. There is off street parking for up to three cars. The cottage is very well located; only a short five minutes walk down the main street or the Heritage Path to the beautiful beaches of Seahouses and its bustling harbour. The cottage is close to the village shops, delis, cafes, pubs, restaurants and club and of course Seahouses' many award winning fish and chip shops! Some of the beautiful villages of the north Northumberland coast are just a few miles away. Both Bamburgh and Beadnell are less than three miles in either direction and are accessible by foot along a sealed path. The town of Alnwick, with its 'Harry Potter' castle and stunning Alnwick Gardens is only a 20 minute drive and the glorious Cheviot Hills can be easily reached from the cottage. Or if you just want to stay put, Seahouses has loads to offer from boat trips to the Farne Islands, crabbing on the harbour, boarding in the dunes to crazy golf and amusements. Topped off with some popular bars and restaurants. Golf enthusiasts will love Seahouses golf club, enviably positioned on the links overlooking the Farne Islands. Rose Cottage(dog friendly) - West Fallodon

We had a lovely stay at Rose cottage with our children and dog, and we thought this was excellent value for a week during the school half-term holidays. The cottage is homely and very well equipped -kitchen utensils, crockery, pans etc all good quality, plus a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding was all crisp white, new pillows and white towels. The bathroom is clean and white and has an electric power shower. The fenced garden is a lovely sheltered sun trap with plenty of seating (comfy chairs as well as the picnic table in listing photos) with a nicely maintained lawn. Jamie was an excellent host, friendly and approachable, gave us some excellent tips including Embers pizza in Embleton. The welcome package was perfect- including delicious fresh bread from the Embleton village farm shop. Worth noting the cottage is one of three- this would be perfect for multiple families travelling together but each wanting their own space.

Incredible location and beautifully presented cottage, easy to find and immediately comfortable and welcoming to stay in. Lindsay was a really kind and helpful host, sending lots of useful information ahead of our stay, very responsive to any queries while we were there, and generous with little touches to say hello - milk, bread, brownies, and even treats for the dog! This is a beautiful part of the world, with incredible walking to be had but not always the best weather so, the boot room for outdoor gear and general sorting out was really appreciated. Knowing it is just early days for Lindsay, you can be sure this stay will only get better with time and we would definitely love to return - thank you!

Stunning. Perfect accommodation in the perfect setting. Off-grid but still extremely comfortable. Attention to detail and provision of both information, instructions and all the equipment. The best couple of nights away anywhere. The description captured the place perfectly and from instructions to arrival to departure it was an idyllic and perfect stay.
