We had a lovely weekend stay at Chantelle’s place. A problem with the boiler was fixed within minutes of us contacting Chantelle which was great. The best thing about the property was the fantastic central location, and the courtyard was a lovely place for breakfast in the sun.

Thank you for the pictures and instructions on how to find the property, that was really helpful. Neighbours really friendly. Very quiet cul-de-sac. Property was nicely furnished and decorated. We had everything we needed. The juice, milk and snacks was a welcome surprise on arrival, we were able to put the kettle on straight away! Garden was perfect for the dog.

Martyn’s place was very clean and tidy. It is a drive into the city centre where there is lots to do. There’s little around the house itself in terms of things to do but it’s on a quiet housing estate and walking distance to some supermarkets for supplies. The beds are comfortable and the shower was lovely.

This is a great property and easy to find. We have a small dog and the back courtyard area is secure and big enough so she could stretch her legs and sniff around. We completely relaxed here, for a number of reasons. Firstly it feels complete safe, it’s a gated property and away from the road, so nice and quiet and no traffic noise. Secondly we slept great as the beds were prefect for us, king size and comfortable. The bedroom spaces had plenty of room and storage. Thirdly the large bathroom was a luxury, fantastic big shower which was easy to control and plenty of towels. And finally the pool table, we had a good few games of killer, and had such a great laugh, great entertaining space. So much so we didn’t watch the TV and we would end up chatting round the dining table. We would definitely stay again and walked away with great memories.

We had a great stay at Paul's house. We found everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The house is very well equipped and the surroundings are peaceful. There was always space to park in front of the house. The weather was warm, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden full of flowers. Paul was always proactive and very responsive whenever we needed anything. We totally recommend staying at his place!

We were delighted with Sarah's cottage. It was extremely clean, comfortable and spacious. We were especially surprised to find it so well equipped with tea coffee, sugar condiments cooking oil and cleaning products etc. just like coming home. The area around was ideal for short country walks with our 2 and 4 year old grandsons who also loved the farm shop next with animals to feed and a small play area with ride-on tractors. Sarah was a brilliant host who replied very quickly to our communications and was very amenable to our requests. We would recommend this beautiful cottage for a peaceful few days away.

We had a lovely short stay in this conveniently located apartment. A travel cot was provided for toddler, and a high chair was sourced from the cafe on the ground floor. Apartment was safe for toddler and comfortable. Highlights were the secure garage with electric car charge points and the location to the city centre, easy enough to walk with a pram to the shops and restaurants.

Leah's place was a great option for an event at the Ice Arena. It's so central, close to many bars and restaurants. The arena was right across the road! I've stayed in many air b and bs and I have to say the beds were among the comfiest! The apartment was clean, had a huge terrace outside and despite the location was very quiet! Leah was incredibly responsive any time I had to message. We're already planning to return, highly recommended.

Lovely little last minute get away with 2 dogs and a baby. Both hosts lovely and so friendly. Really nice environment, will definately be back again

Beautiful and tranquil settings, away from the hustles and bustles of life. spent 2 nights here for my husband's birthday. We met the family, the horses, the chickens and ducks. Home from home and would highly recommend if you want a break from everyday life but not far from visiting local sites. Everything in there that you need, from washing up liquid to soaps and shampoos. Would definitely stay again 🙂

Outstanding in every way. This cottage is worth more than 5* it simply cannot be beat. We have been to a lot of nice properties but Richard and Jo have made this property and their 16 acre land simply beautiful. Very nice people as well.

Really comfortable beds, lots of space and perfect home from home vibe! We stayed during Download festival and was bliss to be 40 mins away from the festival and come back to good beds and a lovely kitchen. Really easy to find, really clear instructions to access and make the most of the space, and communicative host

We had a great stay at the Coffin Maker's Cottage. We were attending a wedding in Nottingham and then an evening event nearby so this was really convenient for both. Beautiful accommodation as described in a beautiful peaceful setting. We met the owners who were very friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend.

As a hen party of 12, we had an amazing long weekend at Sally's house. There was safe and ample parking for all the whole group and we were blown away by the surroundings. The views were gorgeous and we had a lovely walk round the nearby fields and public footpaths to a great local pub. The house was spotless, and more stunning than the photos. The house felt like a home whilst also feeling luxurious and everyone loved their rooms and the communal areas. The house had so many thoughtful touches and we especially enjoyed the easy to use hot tub. Massive thank you to Sally for being a great host - responsive, helpful and allowing us early check in to decorate for the bride too. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again. Thank you so much!

Had a wonderful stay with my friends for 1 night! Perfect for a big group, lovely bedrooms and a big sized living room. Set in a gorgeous location with countryside views. We had a great meal in the local pub and made use of the hot tub at the property. Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone!

Great place for a family get together, lovely quiet location, plenty of space to relax. All the rooms were extremely comfortable, clean and spacious. The hot tub was a bonus and was religiously cleaned everyday.. Great hosts will revisit.

The area is super peaceful and quiet, the house was easy to find due to the owners simple instructions, and checking in was very simple too. The house is incredible! Very unique and different, the cinema room, mini bar, karaoke and pool table was a great addition, and super fun. Little bluetooth speaker so you can play your own music, which was great for us. There is a little sign featuring plenty of recommendations of places to go, and places to eat, which is very helpful. The shower was lovely and warm, and the bedding was very comfortable The garden area is nice, (easy to use hot tub, tables and chairs, sunbeds). Also gives you a pretty view of the field behind. Both owners are very polite, and quick to respond to any concerns. The only issue we encountered was that the place could be a little bit cleaner; (few cobwebs, dusty in certain places, food in the sink). Other than that it was perfect! I would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you’re a young couple.

We rented the house as a base for a reunion of five, senior citizens. It looked fascinating from the pictures and so it turned out. There’s plenty of space and the house is well equipped for eating and drinking. We didn’t use many of the extensive collection of music and games but thoroughly enjoyed the pool and darts. Matisse was very prompt with her communications and wanted to make us feel at home, we even took in packages and chatted with the bin men!!! Local shops and a pair of pubs just a short walk away and an easy trip into town. All in all an excellent venue for our needs.
