We stayed here from 21st to 24th May, and it was a beautiful and peaceful experience. The location is offbeat and away from the crowd, offering a serene environment. Auntie and uncle were extremely warm and welcoming — it truly felt like home. Auntie was so friendly that conversations with her felt endless and comforting. The view from the homestay was stunning — we were lucky to witness the majestic Kanchenjunga on the very first day! It’s just like Tiger Hill, but from your own window. The food cooked by auntie was absolutely delicious and made with love. She was always helpful and made sure we were comfortable. The only small challenge was the steep road from the main road to the homestay, but our driver Kundan handled it well. Overall, it was a wonderful stay filled with warmth, scenic beauty, and great food. Thank you, auntie, for your care and love. Highly recommended for a peaceful Darjeeling getaway!🥰🥰

I stayed in this property for 4 days and had a really good time. Manoj uncle and Debdutta brother were very helpful and friendly. If we needed anything at any time, Debdutta was always there to help us. When we arrived, Manoj uncle showed us around the property and made us feel at home. This place is private and has everything you need. The kitchen works perfectly, the bathroom is clean, the living room is big, and there’s a balcony in the bedroom. Our favourite part was the terrace next to the dining room, which was only for us guests to enjoy. We really had a great stay here!

The place is beautiful - a bit old looking architecture but spotless clean. They will provide you the entire full with basic kitchen setup as well. beautiful garden to sit if you can do something about mosquitos outside. You may need sometime to figure out your way to main road ( do not go by maps and you will find a better way which is not mentioned in map). They will arrange toto pick up drop and for sightseeing if you want them to. Good place to stay with family - can accomodate upto 5 people. One bed room has ac other has fan. Rooms have high ceiling and thick walls so are cool in summer. Accessibility wise it is good, all key locations are within 10km range and accessible by toto. they provide complimentary breakfast

The Property is perfectly located for a Peaceful getaway, throughout the stay we never heard even for a minuete anything apart natural sounds like birds & insects sound....extremely peaceful at the same time not very far off the main town....a place for DETOX of mind & soul......Net connectivity was adequate for anykind of online tasks.....kitchen is well equipped for cooking.....i will retunr very soon during monsoon.....

The host was very cooperative and gave helpful tips for our visit to different places and food. Arranged car for going around and next day early morning drop at airport. Bed Linen & toilet was clean. The location is suitable for short overnight stay & transit during the flight as it is not very far from the airport. But the lane is very narrow and inspite of host sharing exact google location it was little difficult to reach the property. The host was very helpful and was present at the location for directing the cab driver. Our overnight stay was comfortable and value for the money. Thanks!

Absolutely great and peaceful stay. The listing was as shown and described. Felt like home. Host was very responsive to any of our queries .The balcony cum portico was huge and the best place to relax in the evening. In the morning we used to get up hearing all types of chirping of birds which was really beautiful. Food delivered from Papiya's kitchen as suggested was tasty and homely. Only,the fans need to be cleaned and if possible better cutleries and plates may be provided. Overall a fantastic stay. Will surely try to book this place on our future visit.

One of the best Airbnb stays in Kolkata. House is in great condition with all the amenities mentioned. Quiet and safe neighborhood yet close to many restaurants, shopping and other things. Very easy to communicate with the hosts. Highly recommended. We will be back.

very affordable, squeaky clean . proper cutlieries . kitchen fully functional . loved how promptly she responded if stuck with anything . the amount to be paid for 4 people was extra but it was already mentioned . the place is well connected . my mom dad liked the place a lot

The stay was beautiful! Just as described. All the furnitures and the decor would quite literally transport you back in time. The building was super pretty and gave us a proper old Calcutta feels. My mother really enjoyed her time here and managed to get some amazing pictures. The location is a prime one and some of the most ivonic restaurants like Peter Cat, Mocambo and Flurys are just a ten minute walk away. Had a wonderful experience here, thank you hosts!

We had chosen the place for 3 days. This place is as described on the listing, felt right at home. The host and the staff are super responsive and the apartment had every thing you would need for your stay. Example - even an umbrella was present considering the rainy season. Our stay was very comfortable and would recommend anyone who is looking for a stay near Park Street, Esplanande or Howrah. I would love to stay again during my visit to Kolkata in future.

We liked the property very much - quite spacious, high ceiling so ventilation was really good, heritage kind of feeling. Chitra is a great host & she made our stay very comfortable. Always available to help. When we wanted some medicine she managed to get it very fast. When we plan next visit to Calcutta we would love to come back again here. Tks

Kili Dhi was a breathtaking place to stay. We stayed there for five days, even that seemed so less time. Absolutely breathtaking views of the mountains, peaceful serene surroundings - a perfect cozy place to stay. The place was so silent we had very sound sleep with no disturbances of any kind. Although a note for future travellers - The place is a 15-20 min (depending on your speed) hike down the hill, it will be difficult for people with knee and hip pains. For us it felt like we were living at our own home. Very warm and cozy. And the location - it's down the hill from the observatory hill view point, 20-30 mins walk from Mall, 20-30 mins walk to zoo, extremely well connected to lovely places. Lastly, Prajwal as a host is an amazing guy. We booked the place 4 months in advance and he had always been very prompt in solving every tinniest query we had. Very helpful, resourceful, kind and always smiling. We'll definitely be back at this place which felt like our second home.

This was a delightful stay for me. Clean and tidy. Easy to locate not only for cabs but the delivery service persons also reached the location without any calls or hassles. Jaya is a great host as she took care of all our needs. The house is also stocked with basic essentials so it's a comfortable start from the get go whatever time you reach there. In one word it was a splendid stay indeed , from location to to home amenities everything was just spot on l. Host communicated very well in our entire stay. I must mention shalinee’s mom who went extra mile to make sure we are comfortable during our entire stay, i had a small chitchat with her as well , she is a very sweet person to have a conversation with. My stay was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Due to construction work at the first property, the host arranged a second property for me. Both places were managed by the same host, and both were in great locations—so there was no inconvenience at all. The second property was even better—more spacious and comfortable—so I decided to extend my stay. The host made the transition smooth by personally helping me move from one property to the other. Throughout my stay, the host was incredibly friendly, reliable, and helpful. He even picked me up and dropped me off for shifting propertirs as I extended my stay and recommended some excellent restaurants. He was always responsive and made sure I had everything I needed. The updated place truly felt like an oasis in Kolkata. I think everyone should visit and experience such warm hospitality. Samridhi was friendly and welcoming. Before our check-in, she had sent detailed directions to her place. The check-in was smooth. The room was spotless clean and looked as shown in the pictures. The room is airy and spacious and perfect for people trying to have a relaxing trip. The view from the room and balcony are mesmerizing. You could stay there all day. She called to check in on us everyday and was available for all queries. I loved my stay there. Definitely my recommendation for anyone visiting Darjeeling.

We stayed here as a small family with our 11-month-old baby, so cleanliness and nearby dining options were our top priorities—and this place definitely delivered. The home was well-maintained with regular cleaning assistance available. There are plenty of popular eateries within walking distance, including Mocambo, Kusum Rolls, Kasturi, Flurys, and 6 Ballygunge, among others. Many tourist spots are also easily accessible from the location. The host made a sincere effort to ensure a comfortable stay. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, and while the building has a manual lift, the friendly staff are always available to assist with it. You can also order from Swiggy or Zomato, and the helpful building staff member, Mr. Raju, kindly brings deliveries right to your door. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this place to others.

The location is excellent. The complete flat was properly cleaned.All essential facilities are available. Few more utensils like katories to be kept. The communication is very good. The lift is properly working. Overall it is very nice.
