The location itself is beautiful with in a tea estate, Alka is great host and hospitality was top notch. I saw 2 negatives overall, 1) beds were hard as rock and felt like sleeping on floor 2) entire structure was made of bamboo so you would hear everything going on outside hindering a good sleep. However Alka’s sweetness made up for all of these.

The place was absolutely insane. Every paintings and furniture was state of the art. The caretaker of host was welcoming and security was really good, felt really safe. The location was the best part, everything was in walking distance. Great stay :)

Our stay at Takdah Bungalow 16 for 3 nights went beautifully. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It was great interacting with the host Sangmu and her family. The food served was homely and delicious. And the cherry on top was Kuro, an adorable Husky. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This place felt like a home, specially the kitchen facilities with all the equipment at the place , made my mom happy!! the interior was top notch, taken care of every minute space with the asthetic hangings and placed beautifully!! Sahil's father is a godd damm nice person I've ever met in my entire life. Had a good 5 mint chat with sahil, he too a very beautiful person in person with such a great personality!! overall the best place to stay in the entire Darjeeling, lebong to be precisely if you want peace with such a private stay to feel. love you thousand, the quiet nest cottage see you soon❤️

Got this place in a steal deal price. Amazing location. 15 mins hike and you can see the himalayas. And the entire view of Darjeeling from your room . Ankit the helper is a great guy always responsive and Abhishek made us feel right at home .

Very much safe place to stay

We had a lovely stay at Tuhina and Parimal’s place! The room had beautiful views of the surrounding greenery and was cozy and clean— perfect for a relaxing getaway. When we arrived, we were greeted with fresh roses on the table, which instantly made us feel welcome. The host’s home is stunning — thoughtfully designed, peaceful, and filled with a warm, homely vibe. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Every meal was flavorful, fresh. Overall, our stay was memorable and so enjoyable. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a wonderful experience. We’d definitely love to return and would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming retreat.

My Little Slice of Deoghar: Just back from Nutan Homestay and had to share! This place isn't just accommodation—it's someone's carefully crafted home that you get to stay in. The thoughtful touches everywhere made daily life effortless. My favourite spot was the outdoor seating area. I loved catching up with local friends in the evening. Nutan and Narendra are the kind of hosts you hope for but rarely find. They were attentive without being intrusive, offering genuine warmth that made conversations feel natural rather than forced. Their knowledge of the area and willingness to share it made exploring Deoghar much more rewarding. I had all the privacy I needed, but never felt alone. The hosts were brilliant with local recommendations that saved me from tourist traps. Simply put, it felt like having a home with friends looking out for you.
