The Cake Store

I had a very nice time at the cake store. It was very cozy and had everything I needed. It was the perfect place for exploring the moors and the beautiful Yorkshire coast. I would love to stay there again!

Ravenswood Sandsend

GillianRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Debra's place has a phenomenal view of the sea, you feel like you could almost touch it, sitting staring at the waves from the large panoramic bay window. Staying at the flat was both invigorating and calming. The captivating view means you don't need to go out, but if you do, it's a stones throw from glorious walks and close to Whitby. This is a luxurious seaside escape, we can't wait to go back.

Beckside Cottage, Great Fryupdale

We had a wonderful Easter weekend in this beautiful cottage. Cosy and comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The location is peaceful and picturesque and we especially enjoyed chatting to Ian and Kathryn and meeting their newborn lambs. Hope to return.

Unique seaside 3-bed room cottage with log burner

RachelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely, quirky cottage in great location. Right next to the beach, cafes, pub and fish restaurant. (Recommend the crab salad at The Hart pub!) Bus stop for Whitby just across the road. Parking for two small/medium cars. Cottage has a quirky layout but our grandchildren loved the attic bedroom, and the big kitchen table was also very popular. It is spacious and very well equipped. Matthew was a great host - quick to reply and very helpful. Information booklet also useful. NB mobile signal is rubbish, but the wifi in the cottage is good. No shop in village but Lidl only 10 minutes away. We had a great stay - highly recommended!

Quiet beachside Georgian house with garden

CharlieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great family stay at the house. The location very close to the beach was superb and parking was available either on the nearby road or at the car park (if you do go out by car, car park tickets are transferable between Scarborough Council car parks which is good). The house was clean and inviting and had everything we needed. The garden was lovely with a nice view to the sea from the higher part. Should you need it, there was a TV with Fire stick and a cupboard full of games and puzzles. Easily got the bus to Whitby with good connections to other places. Couple of good places to eat in the village itself. David was a great host, providing just the right information at the right time. Highly recommended.

The Piggery

BarryRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Excellent stay at The Piggery. Molly made sure we had all the info we needed prior to arriving. The place itself is beautiful! The weather was quite cold while we were there so we couldn't really make use of the stunning balcony with amazing views! I imagine it is brilliant in the summer. Plenty of shops in Sleight village within a 10/15 minute walk. Train station to get to Whitby is around a 20 minute walk from The Piggery.

Sea View 5 Bedroom Holiday Let on the Yorks Coast

PaulaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
What an amazing place! We stayed with extended family and loved the open plan area so we could all be together, but also the quieter snug area with real fire. Rooms were very well presented, some with spectacular views. The property is in a quiet area but just a short drive to shops and petrol station. Runswick Bay and Sandsend are two of our favourite spots for walking and just a few minutes drive away. We all loved this property and hoping to book again for next year. I have no hesitation in recommending it.
