Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Op korte afstand van IJsselmeer, Medemblik, andere steden. Om te winkelen, fietsen, wandelen, surfen, kiteboarden of zeilen. Huisdier welkom: 1 hond, 10 euro p. dag. Ter plekke voldoen. Schade veroorzaakt door huisdier is voor rekening van de huurder! Hottub is op hout gestookt, 10 euro per keer. Mits er wind is. Barbecue is aanwezig.

The unique location of the house with straight access to the lake 'de grote vliet' (the great vliet) offers a perfect opportunity to retreat from a busy life and just relax. The spacious house provides room for 6 people and leaves almost nothing to be desired through all the equipment available. It is the nature that will grab your attention and almost urges you to be discovered, be it by boat, by bike or on foot.

Romantische verblijf met uitzicht vanuit je bed op het water en een 2-persoonsschommel Vanuit de love-seat kijk je naar de tv of de open haard (verwarming) en heb je het knus in de winter of zit je in de zomer heerlijk buiten op het terras aan het water te mijmeren, lezen of spelletjes te doen. Hottub, kayak of 2 supboarden zijn er bij te boeken. Ook zijn er fietsen, deze mag je gratis lenen. De badkamer is 1 stap buiten de pipo en helemaal alleen voor jou/jullie.

The Cat & Breakfast is the place for people who want to get away and love cats. Our cats Dix, Ted and Moby can visit you through a (lockable) hatch. In addition, you can get cat-friendly inspiration. The sustainable breakfast consists of homemade vegan waffles, an organic egg, organic cheese, fruit, jam and sandwiches. From the C&B, you can reach the IJsselmeer in 15 minutes and the North Sea in half an hour. Nice towns nearby are Medemblik, Enkhuizen and Hoorn.

Relax and unwind in our detached cottage in a natural setting, right next to the church in the heart of Oostwoud! Enjoy the vistas over the farmyard and the fields towards Abbekerk, Twisk/Opperdoes and Medemblik. Look out over through fishing and waterways. Rent a boat or a sup and hit the water! Nature reserve "the egbutzwater" is nearby and the beach the sweet sea at Medemblik is also worth it. Cycling, walking, sailing or by car? You can go anywhere here!
