Barbara is a wonderfull host. Very friendly. We went to Gartencafe Helming in Lüne. A spa in Bad Bentheim and the Irish pub in the evening for some darts. There is a nice and popular breakfast place Wintering.

We celebrated our wedding in a small circle in Thorsten's accommodation. The check in was smooth. Communication with Thorsten was always friendly and courteous. On request, beer tent sets were also made available to us. The garden was very beautiful (cherry tree, apple tree, seating areas, barbecue area, etc.) And "the old forge" was very beautiful and well maintained, both externally and internally. We enjoyed our weekend in this beautiful home. The presence of personal belongings makes this home feel like a "home". Some things are a little outdated and a little less clean, but the openness of the house and the beautiful garden make up for it. Oliver was very easy to reach and our problem with cold water was quickly solved (even on a holiday/Saturday). The region is also very beautiful for walks and bike rides. A must.

The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. For an extended weekend and a hiking holiday for parts of the Hermannsweg, an absolute dream accommodation! The location is very idyllically located on a farm, the fully enclosed garden is perfect for a nice and relaxing time with the dogs. Amenities of the apartment is great, everything you need is available! The bed is relatively small, but it was still very cozy for the two nights!
