Family-friendly holiday rentals in Wendelstein

Lovely airbnb in a nice quiet side street. Located close to a Lidl and a great beer garden with accompanying German restaurant. We loved the hot tub and amazing decoration and had a really pleasant stay!

We had a nice short stay at Dario's. The communication was great and we were personally received. Dario had a few good tips for us to go out to eat. The apartment is very clean and well equipped, we also got along very well without a kitchen. For us personally, it was a little too loud at night due to the nearby road, but if you leave the windows closed, it doesn't bother you. You are super connected, quickly on foot in the city center and also quickly to the subway.

Excellent! We enjoyed our stay in Sabrine's home. She has a beautiful home that had all we needed plus a sauna as a bonus! On the cold days we happily sat in there and warmed up! The location is great - right next to a tram line and the main station. Great cafes, bakeries and restaurants in walking distance. Regina is very pleasant and showed us how things worked in the home. Highly recommend!!

You can tell that this property has all the passion of Ullrich. It is available with recommendations and tips on activities in the region, which can be started directly at the cottage, and many more options for young & old with a few minutes drive. In summer weather, the garden invites you to relax. We were a little irritated by the many laminated rules, as it is a matter of course for us to deal with foreign property properly.

I have family in the Dollnstein area that we visited for 3 weeks in July 2024. We stayed at this property and fell in love with the village. The rental property itself is nice and spacious. There were 4 adults and 1 child who stayed at the property and there was plenty of room for us all. If we needed anything, Roland was very responsive and the property manager came right away. The kitchen is a highlight-it's huge with a full-size refrigerator. It is also convenient to have a washer on site for clothes. My only recommendations would be stronger wifi throughout the home (it's spotty in some areas) and clear directions on how to use appliances and tv (there was a learning curve with those at times). Overall, the village the place is located in is a true highlight. There is a quaint soccer park/playground area that my son and I visited daily. The villagers were kind and curious about us Americans but not in a rude way. We felt safe and happy the entire stay.

We had a nice time in Gasseldorf. Miriam and Christian were very kind hosts :) We felt very comfortable and were able to get to know part of Franconian Switzerland :)

The apartment, the location and the view are fantastically beautiful. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, everything is available. The apartment is very tastefully decorated, the bed is super comfortable and everything is clean. 1000x thanks for the beautiful stay.

We were a family of 3 and rented the entire home. We enjoyed our stay. The home had all amenities in place including a kitchen, washing machine / dryer, hand wash, dishwasher / tablets and even the basic cooking items needed the kitchen.

The apartment is fantastic and quite large. The two main bedrooms are very large and the third is great for kids or a single person. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Communication was excellent throughout and Cüneyt was helpful when we had questions. The location is mostly residential with a decent amount of restaurants in easy walking distance. The center is an easy tram ride with the station just a block away. The neighborhood is very quiet and we never heard anything from neighbors in the building. The fridge even has an ice maker which is rare in Europe but a nice amenity on a hot day. We has two cars and always found parking within a block or two of the apartment.

The large old farmhouse was totally rustic and lovingly furnished. Where the old charm was maintained despite the modernization of the bathrooms/heating/kitchen. Our girls' group immediately felt at home. The hanging chair on the terrace was hard to come by. ;-) The gallery with a projector (bring a laptop) and seating area was also great. In the house there was everything you need. For a small amount of money, even the food/drinks could be consumed. This has never been available in any Airbnb accommodation before. Gisela was a lovely host and responded quickly to messages. The area was very quiet and we all slept very well. You can also hike directly from the accommodation. There is the beautiful brewery hiking trail and many small caves to explore. It is also worth visiting the impressive Bing stalactite cave. For us, it was a totally successful weekend in Franconian Switzerland.

Reiko is incredibly service minded and has a great home for 4 people. Nothing was missing, and Reiko was quick to respond if we asked anything. The only thing we missed was air conditioning in one of the rooms when it got incredibly hot. We would definitely recommend his place to others.

A great place to stay. The house is large and openly designed while maintaining the old structures and renovated substance. The old floorboards are a feast for the eyes. Equipped with state-of-the-art comfort. Thank you.

A Home Away from Home – 10 Stars If We Could! Our stay at Mrs. Heidi and Mr. Herbert’s home in Nuremberg this January was beyond exceptional. As first-time exhibitors at the trade fair, we were new to the city, but their warmth, kindness, and incredible hospitality made all the difference. The home itself was impeccably maintained, and to our surprise, the kitchen was fully stocked —making us feel even more at home. they personally ensured that our entire floor was cleaned daily with the utmost care. Such dedication and generosity are truly rare! Me and my two sons are deeply touched by their thoughtfulness and the genuine care they extended to us. Their home exudes warmth, comfort, an experience we will cherish forever. We cannot thank them enough for support. If we could, we would give them 10 stars! We had a very nice four day stay in an idyllic and quiet environment. Birgit is a very nice, warm hostess. She also took care of us in between and asked if everything was right and how we like it. We felt very comfortable in the spacious and cozily furnished apartment. There was nothing missing. Since we were traveling a lot, we were unfortunately unable to use the beautiful, large and very well-kept garden. We will be happy to come back and then for longer to enjoy everything.
