Rosemary cottage is one of three cabins which rest on the edge of a lake in the heart of the Banhoek conservancy. It is a light filled, modern cabin with a wood fired hot tub, direct access to endless hiking and the finest mountain biking trails in the western cape. Although it is intended as a two person cabin, there is an open queen sized pod attached to the living room which can sleep 2 children or an extra guest for a small extra fee. There is an infrared sauna below the dam for you to use.

The stay at Kliprivier Cottage was perfect, from the drive to the Cottage, the farm and the property itself. Everything that was needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay was included and we had no reason to leave once checked in. It was such a pity that we couldn't make use of the kayak but we will definitely be using it the next time we visit. The stay provided a great getaway, a home away from home and we will sure be back soon.

We had a wonderful stay with Marelize and Dawie! The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The unit was perfect, spacious and the fireplace was a big bonus for us. The location is absolutely perfect and ideal for anyone wanting to visit Franschhoek and all the surrounding wine farms. 100% would recommend!

Amazing in short, we didn't have great weather but the indoor fireplace works like charm. We had to buy some extra wood but they gave enough for two days of continuous fire place and one day of hot tubbing. Unfortunately we didn't have power on our last morning due to the sun barely showing face for two days prior. Definitely going back ASAP.

Absolutely stunning views. This home was amazing and we had a wonderful time. Just minutes to Franschhoek for all the town has to offer and yet a private setting away from the crowds. Many fabulous wineries within short driving distance. There were a few days that got pretty warm but the way the house was set up it allowed wonderful breezes throughout the home that took advantage of the cool evenings. Air conditioning was available in the sun room but we rarely used it. The rooms were spacious and furnished nicely. The photos do it justice. Not hotel fancy but very nice and comfortable with everything you need. The pool was a great addition as well. I would go back with no reservation. Can't say enough good about this place. I'll miss those breezes!!!

We had a lovely stay at Cates guest cottage in the grounds of her house. It's just around the corner from the main street and all it offers so a great location. Carien who was there to help settle us in was lovely and made us feel right at home from the off.
