Absolutely stunning house first time in Martinborough and we enjoyed every minute of it. It was picturesque and luxurious and worth the amount we paid for it. The hosts were amazing and made sure that our stay was very comfortable and that we had no issues. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone that is looking for a quiet weekend away. The location was amazing as well as it is very close to a lot of the wineries.

We had a lovely stay at Sam's guesthouse. Although it is attached it still felt very private. We had some cooler weather while there so was a treat to light the fire but also got out for a fresh water swim which was so good. Our 3 year old absolutely loved it when the chooks came the visit in the morning and afternoon. Very friendly and helpful hosts, thanks for having us!

Blackwood Luxury Hideaway was a perfect location for our group of 4 to stay for three nights whilst we attended a wedding in the area. Janine was super helpful in answering our pre-arrival questions and having the rooms set up to meet our sleeping requirements. The home was beautifully presented, and a lot of thought has gone into the decor / linen / kitchen utensils. The indoor spaces meant we had room to spread out and the day bed became a favorite spot for reading in the sun. The separate areas for outdoor seating where all well used to take in the stunning rural views. And the outdoor spa was a hit and had towels provided for it. The 1.5 bathrooms were very useful when your travel with 4 adults! They were lush with rain shower and beautiful amenities / towels. We would certainly stay again when we come back to visit the area. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Had a great stay at David's with the partner and young dog.. treats on arrival were a nice surprise plenty of firewood. push bikes were a bonus. easy check in and easy communication with David.. house was tidy with plenty to keep entertained with local information provided. was perfect location for what we were after for a short trip. morning trip to Morrisons bush. lunch and drinks at the wineries. night out at a few bars in martinborough, finished with some whitebaiting out the coast of Lake ferry. cheers david

The place is totally beautiful and suitable for a nice getaway from a busy city life. It’s peaceful and plenty of outdoor chilling area. The interior is tastefully decorated with personal touches. And Dale is so lovely to communicate throughout and understanding of our sudden change of situation. It’s hard to find such lovely hosts in Airbnb sometimes, so we are lucky to have met her!

Off the grid but everything we needed. Great to meet the animals on our walk to the river. Flowing creek with water wheel, friendly piwakawaka, tons of stars overhead in the night sky. Just a peaceful, picturesque, lovely place to stay and Jane made us very welcome.

My family had a very memorable visit at Rewa Rewa cottage. Patrizia went above and beyond to host our family by providing tours of her farm and studio. She gave us a lot of her time and shared so much information about her lifestyle which was very interesting. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip from the US. Thanks so much for the experience! You have a beautiful place.

The host was so thoughtful - everything we needed for a relaxed time away was there - and graciously accommodated any request. The home has every creature comfort you might need. The outlook from the house was tranquil and yet so close to town.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The place was warm and cosy, with lots to do and space to spread out. Sarah was lovely to deal with - clear communication and instructions.

Another reviewer has said if they could give it 10 stars instead of 5 they would have ! I completely agree. My wife and I were blown away with the spaciousness and the well equipped facilities of this beautiful home. The setting was just so beautiful, peaceful and quiet yet not too far away from the Masterton. It was extremely refreshing just to come home and relax. We had flown in from Australia to attend a family funeral of a very close relative so it was a challenging time ….but John and Robyn went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel at home, Robyn had even baked a beautiful zucchini cake for us which was thoroughly enjoyed along with a basket of goodies for our welcome. It may not have been a ‘holiday’ for us but without a doubt we were so beautifully looked after ! Thank you John and Robyn. The home was lovely, the price was wonderful for shared guests, the setting was perfect and your home is a ‘must do’ for a holiday here ! I simply cannot recommend it enough !

On our way from the south to the north of Nee Zealand we stopped at Christine‘s and Baz‘ beautiful AirBnB. We arrived around an hour before sunset and still had a chance to explore the huge garden and surrounding countryside. The place itself was very beautifully maintained, the decor was very pretty and tasteful, and there was a lot of attention to detail! When we arrived we found fresh roses from the garden, selfmade jams and fresh cookies along with coffee and milk, which was super nice. If we weren’t on a tight schedule, we would have loved to stay longer! Recommend 10/10

I stayed at Andy and Sue’s place with my new husband after we got married at a local vineyard and restaurant - Coney Wines/3 Little Words. They were really accommodating and let us check in 3 hours early as our ceremony started at 3pm. This meant we could have all our belongings at the house after the wedding. The home was really clean, and had a beautiful country cottage feel. I loved waking up and looking at the Tararua mountains, the vegetable garden and the free roaming chickens.

This stunning property provided the perfect setting for celebrating my mum’s 70th birthday weekend. The accommodation matched the listing description and photos exactly, offering ample space and excellent heating for our group of eight. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, an outdoor fire pit would be a wonderful enhancement to make the beautiful outdoor areas more enjoyable during cooler weather. We would definitely recommend this property to other guests!

Lovely tiny home nestled away in Kelson. Extremely peaceful and private. The greenhouse was an awesome piece, and for us a nice spot to play board games even during winter although you need to be dressed warmly. We were able to feed the alpacas which was quite a novelty! Priscilla was a great host. All communication was prompt and friendly, couldn't ask for more from a host. It's also only a 10 minutes drive from central Lower Hutt, so it's an easy drive out if you need supplies or want to head out for lunch or dinner.

We had a fantastic long weekend at the cottage on the farm! It is a relaxing, peaceful and beautiful destination to unwind and recharge from city life in! It is just as the pictures show. Loved having a peaceful early morning coffee out in the garden and listening to all the beautiful birds! The cottage is thoughtfully set up, perfectly clean with attention to so many details to make our stay enjoyable. It is clear Mike and Will enjoy setting up the accomodation as there are so many nice little thoughtful touches. Mike and Will were friendly and available to walk us and our daughter around the farm to feed animals. Lovely private garden with really secure fencing that contained our little dog and she had a great time exploring in. Mike was also very thoughtful dropping over bean bags and blankets for us to star watch in the evening as well. Thanks also for the rolling pin and trays for our home made pizzas!

Lovely spacious house in rural setting close to town. Comfortable and extra cosy with fireplace roaring. Well equipped kitchen. Great outdoor spaces to relax in the sun with a lovely outlook. Bonus to be able to have our dog with us. Carol is friendly and also responded quickly when we have a couple of queries. Short drive to Henley Lake which is a great dog friendly area to run and walk.

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Good facilities including full laundry. Heaters kept the house very warm and cosy.

This cottage is adorable and well equipped with everything you need and more! Great location as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the 26Rows Gatehouse. The property was very cosy and warm and had a great view towards the vineyard. The beds were also very comfortable. We also had a great time riding around the wineries on the bikes provided by the hosts.

Great stay, everything was clean and well presented and nice breakfast provided. Very helpful and responsive when I need to borrow an iron for a suit for a wedding at last minute.

Everything was as described. Rural location but only 5 minutes to Otaki. Peaceful location. Good parking etc and host was excellent.

Lucy’s place was absolutely wonderful. A great space to meet up with my friend when I was in town for a conference. Really looked forward to coming at the end of the day. A very peaceful place with fruit trees everywhere. Would 100% book again.
