Family-friendly holiday rentals in Weimarer Land

Our accommodation was very comfortable and the location was great for visiting many interesting places. We enjoyed the garden and trees and the rural setting. Apolda itself was an unexpected bonus, as was our very friendly hostess Erika.

We had a great short break in Ziegenrück. We liked the house even better in person than in the photos. The play and relaxation options in the garden leave nothing to be desired. Although the neighbors are not far away, the garden is private behind green hedges. We particularly liked that every detail was well thought out and every smallest space was used sensibly. Above all, the furnishings of the kitchen leave nothing to be desired. The beds were very comfortable, our son grabbed the bunk and slept blissfully in it. We have nothing to complain about and recommend the accommodation without reservation!

I highly recommend! Check in was easy, the apartment was spot on and location was in a great spot on.

We were there with the whole family (15 people) and very satisfied. There was enough space and in the large living room we could all sit comfortably together. The whirlpool and garden were also used extensively :). The beds were very comfortable and the sofa beds were also provided with a topper, so that the children slept really well. Definitely a clear recommendation.

The stay with Olaf and Nicole was wonderful. Also worth mentioning is the super travel directions. We were very nicely received, and everything was shown and explained to us. The house was very clean, everything as you would expect and everything you need in it, as well as some games. Olaf also helped us and stoked the pool. Wonderful location, beautiful view over the city, perfect for pursuing your hobbies undisturbed or simply relaxing in the whirlpool in the sun. Thank you very much and I'd be happy to come back! Katja's apartment absolutely met my expectations. During our weekend, we found it to be an oasis of tranquility where you could completely leave the outside world behind. The spacious living area invites you to cook and play together and the sleeping options were comfortable and cozy. The highlight was definitely the hot tub, which we were allowed to use in January at an outside temperature of 0°C. A hike on the Ettersberg rounded off our weekend and many Weimar restaurants deliver their food to Gaberndorf. A great, modern apartment with friendly hosts that we will definitely book again! :)

We absolutely loved the place! The location is great - beautiful in the countryside and completely quiet and peaceful. Maria and her family were very friendly, and helpful. The terrace is completely fenced, so we were able to park our dog there well. The occasional barking was also friendly by the hosts. And then the sauna and the hot pot - there are no wishes left unfulfilled!

We had a nice, albeit very wet, Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high number of ticks, but no one can do anything about that. However, you should prepare yourself before a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully warm with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The walk to the house, which is a little elevated, was a little impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

We felt comfortable in the apartment from the beginning. Stefan is a dear person and welcomed us directly. Very quiet location, comfortable beds and plenty of space - what more could you want?

There were two of us with a toddler and we felt very comfortable. A travel cot fits wonderfully into the bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped. In the bathroom there are all kinds of utensils in case you forgot something. Communication was flawless and they were always available. The surrounding area is village and quiet. The hosts' sheep can be observed directly from the kitchen and bathroom. A highlight for our daughter. There is free parking is available right in front of the house. We recommend the place and had a nice time. Everything easily accessible from Zeigerheim.

The room at Petra's was awesome. Everything is within walking distance, and we even received bus tickets from her. The room was pleasantly large and the bathroom was almost the same size as the actual bedroom. Petra herself was very friendly Balou a sweet dog❤️. We will definitely come back again.

Rustic, sparkling clean and super equipped apartment in beautiful surroundings. We hiked to the Saaleturm (if you want to go up, it costs a small entrance fee) and looked at Schloss Burgk (by the way, the fairy tale "The Golden Goose" was filmed there). You can also relax and enjoy food, drinks and a break on the castle terrace. An insider tip is the Isabellengrün café, from which you can walk to the Bleichloch dam. When it rained, we played a game of "overtaking without catching up" - even our teenager liked it and we all had a lot of fun. Pure nostalgia feeling! All in all, a well-rounded, successful short vacation, which we had over the Pentecost days with Klaus and his wife.

There were two of us with a dog in the apartment and we felt completely comfortable. The apartment is cozy, has many sleeping arrangements and guarantees a quiet, relaxing vacation. Anytime again!

I can recommend the accommodation 120 percent, also as far as the outdoor area is concerned. Likewise, communication, privacy, friendliness and professionalism. Definitely goes on my top ten list of all previous stays!

Bad Sulza is very clear and nothing is more than 20 minutes walk from the property. Also some circular & hiking trails lead along the address of Anja Haus. Good local recreation!

A great place to unwind and discover: If you love to explore the surroundings and at the same time value feeling at home, you have come to the right place. The accommodation is in a quiet location, yet you can reach the motorway exits in a few minutes. The apartment is tastefully furnished and kitchen and bathroom fully equipped. In terms of cleanliness, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. You can spend great days in the apartment. Because when you look out of the kitchen and living room window, you feel like you're on holiday in Tuscany. Great and well-maintained outdoor area with pool, seating area, barbecue area and play area for the children. We felt very, very comfortable and welcome and thank you very much for the nice hospitality.

Constanze and André are super nice and very communicative hosts. They had many tips for us and were always available for questions. We (a family of 4 with young children) felt very comfortable in the house and garden, with barbecue, fireplace, pool, playground, trampoline, bicycles and the hangover. The location was optimal for us: With the bikes we were in the old town of Weimar in 10 minutes, on the other hand you could also walk directly across the field to the Ilm or ride a bike on the Ilm bike path. A supermarket with a bakery is within walking distance. We will be happy to come back!
