Treehouse holiday rentals in Wayanad

If you're a nature lover then this place is perfect! Our stay was everything that we thought it would be - we walked around the jungle and spent a lot of time in the water stream! Some things to know before you visit: 1. Important to carry an insect repellant since it's in the middle of a forest 2. It's a 20 min drive from Peravoor, most resturants are located here. Since the cabin is quite remote, you would need to visit Peravoor for meals. Plan accordingly! 3. MOST IMPORTANT - The water stream is a one of a kind experience, do not miss spending time in it :)

It was a great experience to stay in a tree house. It was my first time and I am not gonna get over this beautiful feeling of staying here anytime soon. There is calm river flowing right in front of the tree house. There is a beautiful farm where you can take a stroll and explore the various vegetation the family is taking care of. Mahima helped me set up a beautiful candle light dinner which definitely helped me to have one of the most beautiful experiences so far. Highly recommended. Please go and enjoy the hospitality.

We stayed at Kavitha's homestay for a night, and it was incredibly comfortable. The location is absolutely beautiful, nestled in the middle of a 35-acre coffee plantation, making it the perfect getaway if you want to escape the hustle and bustle. While you might not have a network connection, they offer a very stable internet connection. The nearest town is about 6 km away, so it's best to bring everything you need. We enjoyed delicious home-cooked meals for dinner and breakfast, and Kavitha and her family were incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

My wife, my 7 year old son and I stayed for 4 nights in Hornbill treehouse at Aranyakam homestay. While the treehouse is basic and rustic, we thoroughly enjoyed the amazing view, lush plantations and the whole experience of being close to nature. Rajesh and Neema's hospitality took the entire experience to another level. It's a wonder how the couple manage the 8 room homestay and large plantation with very little help. Breakfast and dinner, which was largely local cuisine, was probably the best Kerala food we have ever had. It's all cooked by Neema taking into careful consideration food habits and preferences of the guest. You can spend your days walking around the plantation, hiking the adjoining forests,visiting the sights of Wayanad and even fishing in the small pond within the property, just borrow a rod from Rajesh. We were lucky to witness an annular solar eclipse during our stay. Sunrise and Sunset from the treehouse is amazing. We would love to visit Aranyakam again maybe stay in the main building this time.

A great place nestled between verdant tea plantation with scenic views was very refreshing and a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The host Mrs. Molly was really friendly and courteous, special mention to Sanu who is very knowledgeable and helpful and went to great lengths to make our stay comfortable. We had a great experience overall.

The stay was very peaceful. I would recommend the property for a weekend away from all the hustle and bustle of the city!

This place is heaven on earth! One of the most beautiful destinations I’ve ever visited. You made it a home. Felt like home throughout our stay. The food is superb, jaffars service is outstanding and Mr. Rajesh is the best host. Amazing fun loving person. Showed us the whole property and explained each and every detail about the property and plantations. A must visit place for nature lovers. Living on a bed of clouds once you’re here.

My stay in the Attic was a surreal experience, the Dilip n Mahima were friendly, special thanks to Alvin and Hari who made sure I was well taken care of . Very clean and peaceful stay. It was a dream like Homestay. Special mention to the yummy breakfast Appam n stew. Would highly recommend this Homestay if you are looking for a good experience like holiday in Waynad. Looking forward to come back again.

Awesome Stay and appreciate the hospitality extended by Mr. Shajan and his wife. Excellent scenic beauty and the property is spic and span. Very much enjoyed the stay. It was refreshing and rejuvenating. Felt like home only. Highly recommended. Added flavour delicious and lipsmacking homely food. Had campfire and barbeque Will visit again. Overall awesome.

Great place, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very peaceful, quiet coffee plantation with Trees as well. Feels one with Nature. The Tree house maintained well, neat and clean. Neat and clean bathroom with Geyser. AC and TV available in the room. It has a great balcony wherein you could spend time sitting and just doing nothing and just enjoy the nature. The place looked safe and secure for family and I definitely will recommend to anybody.

I had a fantastic experience during my stay! The place was neat and clean, and its location near the falls made it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. One thing to note, though, is that if you’re tall, the A-frame tent might not be the best fit as you’ll need to bend while moving between the ends. However, there are other tent options available that you can try for a more comfortable experience. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The stay is much much prettier in real. It’s wonderful what Philip Sir has done with his property. We stayed in the double storey tree house. I was surprised at how clean the bathroom was. The location offers the right amount of privacy and access to places. Philip Sir’s house is right adjacent to the property and he is a call way for help. That said, I must say this. I have been to several Airbnbs but I haven’t come across a host like Philip Sir. For starters, he gave us Jackfruits for the evening and it was yum!! But, the main thing, he went out of his way to help us with our bike’s battery issue. He helped us pushing the Himalayan, dragging it with his scooty up to the main road. It’s insane how much effort he put into making sure we were okay. This review is the little we can do. I highly recommend it for the locality and hospitality. And, he packed us some more jackfruit :)

Overall, the resort offers a beautiful stay with stunning views and delicious food. The staff are friendly and attentive, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. However, the small pool may disappoint some, but the option to walk around the estate provides additional recreational opportunities.

Absolutely a 10/10 experience! Our treehouse stay here last weekend was pure bliss – incredibly cozy, spotlessly clean, and perfectly nestled in nature with the sounds of birds all around. The food was outstanding in both taste and presentation, and the tody drink was a delightful bonus. We loved all the included activities: shooting, archery, darting, swimming, and sunbathing were so much fun. The farm trip/hike was also incredibly interesting and educational. What truly made this stay exceptional was the host and their team – they were incredibly helpful and even provided precise directions beforehand to ensure we avoided any tricky village roads. Highly recommend!

Ajesh is a superhost and in our opinion this was easily top-3 Airbnb's we have stayed in India (and maybe worldwide). Please go through the host's other individual listings of the same property to find the detailed reviews. From the accomodation to the dining setting, food and activities, it was just perfect. Loads of activities to do on premises like bamboo raft, kayaking plantation tour, badminton, archery. very relaxing environment and perfectly built and maintained treehouses and boardwalk. It's difficult to find availability but it's 100% worth the stay and experience. Extra shoutout for all the polite and helpful caretakers and overall 5-star hospitality. We stayed only for a day but left with a big smile and satisfaction. Do try masala coffee!
