Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Watersmeet Township

We greatly enjoyed our stay! It was an up north oasis! The crisp winter air, the pines looking over the frozen lake, the fresh winter snow…perfection! The home was cozy and warm after a day outside. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. We will be returning for a future weekend away!

Every thing was great but I would suggest you check the board that lead to the lake the first two move or lift when u walk on them I only went down and sat by the lake and take pictures. But it could be a safety issue

Kelly’s comfy stay was perfect for our weekend trip to the Porkies. It was our first time visiting, and it was very convenient having a place to stay just 20 minutes from the park. The house was spacious with plenty of bedrooms and a relaxing living room. A tip for new travelers to the area, the few available restaurants close at 8pm. Our first night we lost track of time hiking until sunset (9pm) and found ourselves out of luck for food. Thankfully the kitchen was also very functional, allowing us to make a meal with some non-perishables we brought. One negative about our stay was that the dryer stopped producing heat. However, Kelly was quick with her communication and sent her husband to take a look the same day. Although the problem was never ultimately solved during our time there, it did not affect our trip in any way. I highly recommend this great stay. The Porkies will not disappoint!

Randy’s place is easily a five at that price with certain caveats. Those being this, be prepared for no wi-fi and not much in the way of TV. The dvd player did not work. They looked at it and apologized, but that doesn’t fill the time for movie buff kids. Furthermore iron river lacks for stores that sell those things, and well lacks overall. That’s not Randy’s fault obviously, but Iron River isn’t much to get excited about. Ski brule is awesome and this was a great place to stay for that if paying a lot of fro ski brule lodging (which isn’t so awesome) overall great place. Just keep those things in mind. From what I can tell their Airbnb is more for the outdoor (snowmobile/atv) crowd.

We enjoyed our stay! The house is adorable!! We felt right at home. We appreciated the detailed instructions and the nice touches throughout.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It was absolutely beautiful! Everything was very clean and fresh. The view is amazing and the property is so private. We loved the screened in porch and the fireplace. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Our pup loved running around and going out on the dock. The location was just what we wanted, centrally located between the bike trails in Boulder Junction and Lac Du Flambeau, and the convenience of Woodruff and Minocqua where there are many good restaurants and Dan's Minocqua Fudge where they make their own excellent ice cream and candy. We also took a nice walk on the Bearskin State Trail out of Minocqua. I highly recommend Christine's place and we will definitely be back!

I want to give this place 100 ⭐️ and at the same time selfishly give it 1 ⭐️ so I can book it whenever I want 😂 Seriously, this place is a real gem. It was super clean, quiet, so incredibly peaceful. The lake is so serene and inviting. The paddle boat was under repair but we took out the canoe a few times and we literally had the lake to ourselves, enjoying the sounds of the wind and birds and just nature. We and our fur babies had such a wonderful time - we will be back! Also, the WiFi was impressive connection for the area. It was like the best of all worlds…being off the grid while still on it ❤️

Christine’s home was perfect! Great location, plenty of amenities, and great for a large group. She was always responsive and a terrific host. Highly recommend her home!!!

Ewelina’s place was the perfect setting for a quick weekend in nature. Ewelina was incredibly responsive and helpful. This cozy apartment was spotless upon arrival, comfortable, and was stocked with more than I could ever need. The attention to detail was evident; I cannot recommend this place enough.

This apartment is so lovely, comfortable and peaceful. It was spotless and had everything we needed. It was so nice to go “home” at the end of each day. And as wonderful as the apartment was, John and Patti are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. So warm and friendly. Just great people. We will definitely stay with them again the next time we are in Iron River!!! John and Patti, THANK YOU.

Most of the apartment has been recently remodeled & tastefully decorated with eclectic tables & lamps, thoughtfully selected artwork, mostly nature themes, some watercolors painted by one of the hosts. Nice homey touches throughout making for a pleasant stay when indoors. TV has been upgraded to a small flat screen (not shown in pictures). DVD is a regular, not Blu-ray player. It worked for us. Beds were comfortable firm. We slept well. Kitchen had most everything you need for meal making. Kitchen towels, scrubbie, dish soap & hand soap were supplied. No blender but plenty of pots, pans, bowls & dishes. One hand towel in the bathroom, otherwise bring your own bath towels. Hand soap only provided Beautiful view of the lake. Loons present every day. Boat landing is a few minutes' drive around the lake. Only drawback for some may be the length of stairs leading from the duplex down to the lake. There is a railing, but the stairs may be harder for anyone with knee issues or older folks.

I enjoyed my 5 nights stay at Lois’s place. She is very helpful , welcoming, sincere,understanding and accommodating. I had no regret staying at this home. Everywhere was spotless and tidy. As a result of this, I recommend Lois’s place to be comfortable and safe. I will return!!!. Thank you Lois, blessings! Kay

We love the peaceful location, super comfy beds, gorgeous views, and the hosts themselves! We’ve chosen Michelle and Dave’s on several occasions and plan to keep choosing it on our return stays in the area. Highly recommend!!

This was advertised as private , quiet and peaceful. It was all of those things. I came up with my dog Pebbles just to get away for a few days. There are nice trails to walk on . Went fishing on nearby Rose Lake. Saw a Loon , eagle , kingfisher, hummingbird and a giant snapping turtle. Made a nice fire . All in all , a wonderful place .

Excellent choice for a quiet and secluded, cute and comfortable cabin. It’s located close to many lovey hiking trails, close to many great restaurants and supper clubs, and there were many amenities and thoughtful touches. We did not use the TV or games, but did appreciate the grill and fire pit. Very nice to spend our mornings and evenings there while spending our days out hiking. We didn’t meet the hosts, but they checked in on us to make sure all was well and answer questions.

We’ve stayed at multiple rental homes and this one is better than any we’ve been in. It’s such a comfortable home. The home had everything we needed. We love the outside seating area. Deer walked through the woods while we sat outside. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay with my family and dogs for the weekend. Large kitchen, comfortable beds, a fenced in yard plus a wood burning sauna. The views were beautiful from the deck too right by the lake. Great spot to relax and would definitely love to visit again.

Our stay at the Spring Lake house was lovely. The house was immaculate and well stocked with anything we might have needed. The view of the lake from the deck was perfect. We were able to eat outside on the sunny days and enjoy the paddle boat to check out the rest of the lake. So nice to sit by the fire and listen to the birds and enjoy the peaceful lake.

We had a great time at Margaret’s. The place is even better than pictures! She had everything you could need and more. We already booked another stay.

This was our third year staying in Chad's cabin. Chad recently made further improvements to the outside and inside of his beautiful property. It is more beautiful than ever, and the setting and views to the lake are stunning. Chad is on top of every detail and I can't imagine there is a better host in the U.P. of Michigan. I would highly recommend you book at stay at Chad's Lake Gogebic log cabin!

Kathy and Nick’s place was wonderful and peaceful place to spend a fall weekend. Absolutely gorgeous view onto the lake and colorful trees. Great place to relax and unplug.
