Unique 3BR Lakefront | Dock | Fireplace

Overall, our group of 8 was very pleased with our stay at the Octagon House! The inside of the house was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals during the week but Eagle River also offered a lot of options. Our group did a river float with the Hawks Nest, mini-golfed at Eagle Falls, shopped downtown, enjoyed the farmer's market, got ice cream at Peanuts and enjoyed good food at Agave Azul & Riverstone Brewing. Otherwise, we were at the house enjoying the beautiful settings, lake and provided water vessels! A few small complaints - the lake is advertised as sand bottom, which it is. However, a lot of the lake has "seaweed" growing on the bottom. We swam out deep enough with a floating mat and were able to enjoy the very clear, calm waters of Bass Lake, but a note worth considering. Also the outside of the house needs a good cleaning and then regular maintenance. Neither of these items were deal breakers by any means!

We had a relaxing and comfortable stay . Loved the deck and outside sitting area. Lake is beautiful. Kitchen worked well for our group. Property well maintained. They provided lots of little extras that make vacations a hassle when you forget things and their not there. Truly a smooth, relaxing week.

We were in town to visit family and had a great stay! The host was very friendly and responsive. The cabin was clean, cute, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the fire pit in the back - it was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Would definitely love to come back sometime for our next visit!

The stay was wonderful. Cabin was as described and clean. Dock was in and ready to use and the yard was clean. We did have 2 dogs (friendly) that came by us that weren’t ours, but weren’t a nuisance to us at all. Overall it was a wonderful stay and the hosts responded quickly to the few questions I had!

Was a very nice space and worth every penny. House was overall clean but could be a touch cleaner in certain areas. Our host was amazing, very responsive and willing to help. Hot tub was clean and amazing. Wildlife all around, great place!
