Family-friendly holiday rentals in Wasco County

We had a wonderful time. The resort has an outdoor pool, a hot tub and sauna. Our unit was equipped with an espresso coffee machine, an Electric Crepe Maker & Griddle that we used for pancakes, beach towels, laundry detergent, etc. Nothing was missing, except for coffee filters. We felt right at home with added comfort and peace. We can't wait to go back!

Great unit. Very clean and family friendly. Cozy living room. Kitchen supplies were well-stocked. Kids enjoyed the multiple bunk beds. The heated garage was great in the snowy weather. Staff on site was helpful in resolving a frozen pipe issue.

This is a true gem, and the lodging was even better than the photos! We had a late arrival and the process was super smooth, thanks to our very responsive and helpful host. The location is perfectly tucked away next to beautiful pine trees and running water. Loved that it was also easy to walk to the restaurants and shops in town. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you're visiting Mt. Hood.

Beautiful condo with a perfect view of little Collins Lake. Nice and close to everything, quiet, very clean (in fact, the carpet in the master bedroom was still damp when we arrived so it's obvious they cleaned those too!), well-stocked, easy check-in, etc. Love that the unit is dog-friendly too so we were able to bring our best bud. We'd definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. Condo was cozy and warm. We were just there for a couple nights with a toddler so we didn’t use the other amenities (pool, game room). Having a garage to park the car was amazing as we got over a foot of snow while we were there. We will be back in a few years!

We had a great time staying at Altitude Adjustment! Really cool place and layout, with plenty of room for everyone. Close walk to Government Camp and Skibowl. House is stocked with everything needed to have a fun, relaxing time! We will stay here again during our next trip to Mt. Hood!

Place exceeded expectations as it looked better than the pictures showed. Highly spacious, well-lit unit that provided a very comfortable haven for our family of seven. Also, it is conveniently located near restaurants, grocery store, and ski areas. We only experienced minor hiccups in terms of not enough soap or toilet paper, but the management provided more immediately upon request. There was a squeaky door that they could have rectified, but the person at the counter at the time did not realize they had wd40. Otherwise, it was a fabulous stay and we will return for future ski trips along with recommending it to friends and family.

The cabin was perfect for our long weekend getaway to the snow! We were able to walk to Government Camp for necessities, the shuttle to Timberline, and skibowl for cosmic tubing! the road to the house was difficult to get up with 2WD with tire socks but there is another road (plowed and de iced) you can take to the top of the hill. lots of sleeping space for 8 of us! with cozy beds and lots of pillows and blankets. games, movies, cooking spices and supplies.

David was a kind and welcoming Airbnb host. He lives on property attached to the house you will be staying in. Other than a few chats during our stay here and there he gave us our privacy and it was an overall a great vacation. Beds were very comfortable! All of the guests particularly pointed out how comfy their sleeps were. The hot tub was nice in theory but since its inside the bathroom of the main guest room it was not used. The property was beautiful and there was a grill that we used to cook a big dinner one night. Thanks David!

As described! Beautiful and private spot. Words of advice would be to bring and use lots of bug spray- since you are on the lake and very remote it gets buggy when the sun goes down. Also may be best enjoyed WITHOUT dogs or small children. Amanda is not exaggerating when she says beware of rattlesnakes, there is a decent snake population living in this region. But for adults who come prepared with boots and/ or stay close to camp it is not very risky. Would recommend for an adult camping group looking for privacy and peace!

Perfect for two families. Quiet with great view of Mount Hood. Kitchen had everything, beds comfortable, cozy fireplace and warm wood-stove. We all loved your book collection! And games. Thank you for lovey weekend in your home!

Wonderful weekend trip! Me, my husband, son and dogs had a wonderful stay. The location is convenient to everything in government camp. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tubs. It was great to have a washer/dryer and heated garage. We can’t wait to come back and explore more!

We came up for a long weekend to celebrate a family birthday. We wanted a place close to skiing, with a nice hot tub. This place was perfect for our needs! The hot tub is absolutely awesome. Very clean and well kept, overlooking a very private forested backyard! Plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is very well stocked, they even have electric mixers, several different versions of coffee maker, and a Vitamix blender! The black squirrel is so cute and cozy, and pretty much right across the street from the government camp shuttle stop, about a five minute walk. They also had lots of kids toys and entertainment; several baskets full of Magnatiles, Duplos, Lincoln logs, etc. Our three-year-old even started learning to play chess! The rental management company is very friendly and helpful, and their office to pick up and drop off the key is right on the highway as you enter and leave town. I would highly recommend this cabin, and the rental managers as well!

We had a great stay over the weekend. The staff at Collins Lake Resort were very friendly and communication was very clear. We had no trouble finding the location and checking in. Place was just what we were looking for. Plenty of space the 4 of us to have our own rooms, and could have accommodated many more. Felt very private for being a condo, and had good cooking amenities. The pool, though lacking in aesthetic, was really warm and appeared to be cleaned daily, I enjoyed the evening swims. Thanks for sharing the lovely space!

Townhouse with impeccably cleaned, communication was great, check in and out were easy, parking in garage was easy and we had everything we needed. Pool and hot tubs were lovely, highly recommend!

Great place in a great location. Very comfortable with everything you need for a great ski vacation.

Nice and comfy home. Loved how the beds/rooms were laid out! Lots of towels and blankets! Beds and pillows were nice! The kids LOVED having a TV in their room. Heat is locked at 65, which was OK. Was a little tricky to figure out how to get the fireplace to come on when we wanted it. Wish there would have been foil, plastic wrap, baggies, or something to store our leftovers. Loved that there were pictures to help organize the kitchen cabinets when unloading the dishwasher.

We so enjoyed soaking up the gorgeous view every day we stayed here! The pool/hot tub, nearby hikes, and MoCo for food (within walking distance) were all added bonuses. The place was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We'd definitely consider staying here again.

Wow! What a wonderful home. I've never stayed in an airbnb so beautifully appointed. From the orchids in the window to the 90 degree swimming pool the whole stay was delightful. Spotlessly clean. All the spices and pots and pans you could ever use. Fresh coffee beans for the morning roast. Our hosts even left us a bottle of wine, bananas and huckleberry bread for our arrival! We come to this area once a year and will be staying at this home from now on. (Providing we can get it!) Truly an exceptional stay.
