Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Warrens

We stayed at James’ place for our 25th anniversary and I’m so glad we did. We were hoping for peace, nature, hiking and to be able to include our dogs. The location was perfect - so secluded, yet not far from hiking, restaurants, etc. The cabin was clean and well-appointed, having everything we needed, plus extra items in case you’d forgotten something. I appreciated the easy-going communication and would love to stay again if we get the chance!

Took my father and a couple of friends up to fish the river for the weekend. We came across Tims place and it couldn't have worked out any better. Private cabin setting with water access. Tim was very accomodating and responsive. I would highly reccomend, just don't have it booked next time we want to visit again!

Ardene was wonderful to work with. We so enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious and love the spaces where you could sit and knit or read, while others played games or enjoyed the devk

Alissa’s home was just perfect. It had everything we needed for a short stay. I can see why people stay there often and longer. The beds - pillows, sheets, and mattresses - were so comfortable, and the kitchen & bathroom had everything we needed. The surrounding property made for a serene few days of reading & gazing at the river valley.

Carol’s place was a great location for a family event in Wonewoc. Thank you for the extras for us to enjoy breakfast in the morning. While in Union Center we enjoyed a round a golf at the Rockin’ 9 and drinks at Holy Cow.

great little gem! adorable house that is surprisingly incredibly spacious. the kitchen is large and equipped with everything you need. tons of beds and each room is really comfortable. the property is so pretty and peaceful. we stayed up far too late around that fire pit too! we will absolutely be back. Rachel is a great host too. excellent communication and was willing to work with us. definitely recommend staying here!

This was our 4th visit to the cabin! We had a wonderful time! The cabin is very clean, and has everything you need to enjoy your stay!!! We can’t wait to come back!

A quaint little cabin just a 2 min walk to the lakefront and you can see the sunset over the lake from the front porch! Located inside a private campground and nestled all the way in the back so it’s wonderfully private, but also only a short drive to stores/restaurants/bars !

We had a great stay. The big jacuzzi tub was wonderful after a long day of cycling. Larry was kind enough to give us a short tour of his business which we found fascinating. We would stay here again without hesitation.

We were looking for a two bedroom with kitchen and living space to celebrate the holidays. The Red Pines Air BNB was perfect. It was cute, cozy and comfy. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. The snow on December 23rd was perfectly timed. We live in Texas and don’t experience a winter wonderland very often. Watching the ice fishermen come and go was so entertaining! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the cafe and two meals at the Red Pines Bar and Grill with family and friends from the area. All meals were excellent! We hope to make our Christmas at the Red Pines a tradition. Thank you Corinna and Mike!

Andrea made it feel like home! Super clean! She thought of everything! Her decor was awesome and very well taken care of.

Jami's place is close to campus, downtown, and centrally located. It's in a lovely neighborhood. The home was perfect for my daughter, son-in-law, husband and me.

The Chateau (Robin's place) was just perfect for the three of us. It's peaceful rural location was beautiful and especially accessible for our hiking segments and connecting routes of the Ice Age Trail. It's also close enough to Baraboo, Sauk City, Merrimack, Prairie du Sac and even Madison...so you can explore small towns, villages and city life if you want or just soak in the beauty of the rolling hills in the driftless region. Our accomodations were just what we needed. Kitchen was well equipped and bathrooms were spotless. We were able to communicate with Robin easily. We also had an extra vehicle that she allowed us to park. We stayed there 3 times! Highly recommend it!

There wasn’t even one missed detail when this place was made into an air bnb. They go so far above and beyond to make the stay absolutely perfect. I had the best solo weekend and can’t wait to go back! Thank you Dawn and Christine!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at River’s Edge cabin which was spotless and well equipped. We were comfortable there and especially appreciated the surrounding property, trees, and solitude. We enjoyed breakfast on the porch most mornings - the rocking chairs with comfy cushions and blankets were a wonderful touch! The cabin is about 15 minutes from the town of Viroqua that had a good selection of restaurants, unique shops, and even grocery stores. There are also a couple of restaurants really close to the cabin. Communication was excellent, anytime we had a question or needed anything the host was quick to respond and always willing to help.

This cabin was everything I hoped for—and more. Nestled in a peaceful, scenic location, it was the perfect getaway to unplug and unwind. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, with trees, birdsong, and plenty of natural light pouring into the cozy interior. Inside, the cabin was thoughtfully designed and spotless, with all the comforts of home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, and every detail—from the soft blankets to the warm lighting—made it feel welcoming and serene. I especially loved the outdoor space. Whether I was sipping coffee on the porch in the morning or watching the stars at night, it felt like pure relaxation. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful retreat to recharge and reconnect with nature, this is the place. I would absolutely stay here again.

We planned a last minute getaway to Linda & Robert’s place and it was wonderful. My husband and I were looking for a simple, secluded place with space to explore and be immersed in nature with our dog. This “rustic retreat” was just what we had hoped for and more. It is exactly how it is described, no surprises. Before booking, we read the listing description that was provided, viewed all of the photos and loved reading all of the glowing reviews. We were sold! We loved the long drive into the property and the wildlife seen along the way. The trails on the property are such a treat and so much fun to explore. The windows in the cabin were just as described….AWESOME!Puzzles and campfires were our source of relaxation, after dark. Linda and Robert are great hosts and communication was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at the rustic retreat and would highly recommend it to others. :)

Carolene's place is such a gem! Beautiful and peaceful. We especially appreciated the provided list of places to check out/things to do in the area. Highly recommend the local Amish bakery if you happen to be there on a Friday or Saturday.

the Backwaters Lodge was the perfect place for our trip. It was my companion’s first time in Wisconsin and he got the most perfect representation of it at this place. The host, Dan, was excellent! Made sure we had everything we needed and was always one text away if we needed him! We will absolutely book this place again.
