My family was looking for a local weekend getaway, and this house was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, everything felt clean, cozy, and welcoming. Krystal was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We had to do an early check-in due to work call and Krystal made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She was quick to answer any questions we had. The pool was a huge hit with everyone. It was super clean and well-maintained, and we spent most of our weekend swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful outdoor space. The house itself was fully stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to extra towels, which made our stay even more comfortable. It was the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time as a family. We had such a great time and made memories we’ll always cherish. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a peaceful and fun escape. We would absolutely stay here again!

My husband, brother, and two of our friends spent the weekend at Brad’s house and we had a lovely time. It was extremely conducive to relaxing. We cooked our meals there. The kitchen was very clean and we had found everything we needed for our meals. We were able to use lies the front porch. The pool was closed, but it looked very nice. Brad is an amazing host. He will answer your questions quickly. I would highly recommend staying at Brad’s place to anyone.

An amazing retreat with incredible views of the mountains right off the deck & from almost every window. The scenery was breathtaking having 10 private acres to explore we hiked the woods right outside the door, local wildlife was a treat to spot. Spent the evening in a relaxing hot tub & by the firepit it was the perfect spot to watch the stars. We saw both the Sunset & the Sunrise from the Hot Tub, it was spectacular. The house is large with lots of space yet cozy for just 2 of us, it was perfectly appointed, with a log fire, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen. Can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking to unplug and connect with nature we were looking for a place for a family reunion later this year it is perfect for large parties. Lots of beds & bathrooms all of a high standard. The new Porch was lovely surprise for morning coffee looking at that view. We are still reeling from the experience. 5 stars isn't enough - I'd give it 10 if I could!

My girlfriends and I stayed here for a weekend girls trip and unanimously agreed—this was the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly well-stocked. From the cozy blankets to the ample seating and thoughtful touches throughout, everything felt intentional and welcoming. The amenities were top tier and made our stay feel elevated yet comfortable. Tracy was a fantastic host—super responsive and helpful. Patricia’s home was a fantastic getaway for a long weekend! Absolutely stunning views, a relaxing pool, a well equipped and a thoughtfully put together home for anything you might need. The kitchen might be one of the best equipped we’ve ever seen! Could not recommend the home more for a place to relax and switch off! We hope to be back!

Great place to stay! We enjoyed our time there. Easy to separate dogs in the house. Wonderful yard to play with the pups in. If you have pups be aware the few cars that do travel the road do so quite fast. We didn’t get to take advantage of the pool or hot tub, but they appeared well maintained. Would absolutely stay here again. Out far enough with pretty views, but convenient to lots of things. Highly recommend!

Hosts were extremely responsive and flexible. The house was very clean well kept, and comfortable. The setting was beautiful. We had family traveling from different places staying with us for the JMU graduation. It's about a 25-minute drive to the university that was super easy and low hassle. I highly recommend this place.

Our family absolutely loved this house! The kitchen was excellent and very well stocked; the screened porch, patio with a grill and the back yard were beautiful and that’s where we spent most of our time:) The beds were very comfortable and coupled with the adjustable air conditioning units in each bedroom they made a great night sleep. The neighborhood was charming; we took walks each morning along the river trail which was close by and enjoyed the cute downtown area only a couple block away. Definitely worth the stay!

Had a lovely stay. Definitely a great rental for nature lovers who also appreciate their creature comforts! Peaceful, quiet surroundings. There is one neighbor, but they are at a distance that felt quite comfortable, and not intrusive at all. My sons loved the property and wading in the creek, or watching movies in the game room. We enjoyed s’mores at night and coffee in the morning creekside. The hot tub was especially appreciated after a day of hiking in SNP. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked. Leah was very responsive and welcoming. My family has already asked to come back to this spot.

This was the perfect house for a weekend away in the mountains. An amazing view from the deck of the mountains and river below. A great kitchen, well-stocked, too. We had a lovely stay and would come again.

I spent a few days in the Shenandoah Valley with three of my children. We arrived a bit early, Charlene was ready for our arrival, and she let us into the property before the official start time. Charlene took time to explain various aspects of the property, advised us where all the amenities were, and showed us how to use the hot tub. The property itself is charming and very functional. The kitchen and primary living area are on the top floor, which I really liked. The sleeping quarters are below, which lends itself to a more comfortable sleep. My kids commented that they felt very comfortable the entire trip. The outdoor amenities are fantastic. The hot tub works perfectly and we used the fire pit twice for s'mores and hotdogs. As a bonus, my kids were given a tour of Charlene's chicken coops and they played with the chickens and chicks. Special thanks for the wonder welcome gift. I was not expecting it and I won't give away Charlene's secret here. We will return!

Brian's cabin was the perfect place for a weekend getaway, with incomparable views from the hot tub on the back deck. He was incredibly communicative and proactive before check-in, giving us detailed info about reaching the cabin and what we could expect upon check-in. He also arranged for linen and towel service, which wasn't included in the booking originally, and worked with us to add that. Really appreciated his hospitality and responsiveness.

We truly enjoyed our stay . Loved having so many rooms/areas to gather in. We made so many fun meals in the well equipped kitchen. Lots of big windows to gaze out of. Saw beautiful birds and the occasional deer. Many games and amenities to fill some down time. Didn’t turn the Tv on once it was wonderful. Wish we had more time to spend there. Only suggestion would be to have face / wash clothes available. But that’s a minor detail. Had absolutely everything else. Thank you for sharing your home!

If you are looking for a epic mountain escape, this is the place! The hot tub was a perfect touch! The king beds were also so comfy! We will deff be back here! Make sure to make it to this place before darkness falls! Lol

Great place to stay whether you are hiking local trails, kayaking in the river, or visiting family. Clean house with a great view of the river. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place for our family to stay!

This place is very close to downtown for coffee in the morning and drinks at night. Emily was very responsive and flexible allowing us to check in an hour early when we asked

Big fan of Evolve’s ABNB. Will definitely stay there again on our yearly trip to Rapahannock. Great location, clean house, private, all amenities including the tub!

This home was an incredible stay for our minimoon— everything we could’ve ever needed was in the kitchen, and the surroundings were so peaceful and serene. Even though it was raining almost the entire time we were there, we were always entertained as there are not only multiple TVs, but multiple record players, a pool table, and darts! We can’t wait to come back!!

Like Rappahannock's cab franc, our time at the newly-offered home tucked amid its vines was velvety smooth. Just as the Fizzy Lizzy provides a satisfying surprise, we were stunned at the spaciousness of the place -- and the views off the porch. Even the linens were as crisp as a bottle of VX2! OK, maybe it seems as if I'm overextending the similes, but we absolutely loved it here. Not only because Rappahannock Cellars is one of our favourite wineries (just walk down the path and you're in their tasting room) but also because Kelly has set up the perfect stay for families and friends. Don't hesitate to book here!

What a beautiful home and weekend getaway! Matthew was the most perfect host. He was very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. The home itself was very spacious and filled with all the necessary amenities. The ping pong table downstairs was also a great addition. All of Matthew's recommendations for nearby attractions were spot on. From the winery to restaurant recommendations, we truly had a great time. Also, the location of the home is great. We ventured out to the Luray Caverns one day and it only took 25 minutes. Overall, a great weekend at a beautiful place and location. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
