Lamp lit, with kerosine lamps, wood stove, battery toilet. Fire-pit out front. No power plumbing or shower. The cabin has a futon bed and a small upstairs loft for sleeping bags. It's part of the Patchen Hill Farm. Pets welcome!

Home w/ River View & Game Room in Tidioute!

This was a fantastic place to spend the weekend! We had a family of 12 for a small reunion, and the place was perfect. The decor, beds, and temperature were very comfortable, it was plenty big enough, and there was something for everyone (wrap-around deck with a grill and pizza oven, access to the river, a fire pit, entertainment area upstairs, shuffleboard downstairs, and more)! The kitchen was stocked with all utensils needed to cook, toiletries were provided, propane tanks were full, and there was enough wood for a nice fire. We'll absolutely be coming back!! Don't think twice - this place is great!

Your first impression when you arrive at the house is “this is cute 🙂”. Then you walk inside and it’s WOW! I’m not sure if I’ve ever stayed at a cleaner place . It was immaculate ! The river view was pretty. The house has everything you need , please don’t take for granted the hosts generosity ! Toothpaste , shampoo , they had everything you need if you forgot yours ! lol it was a perfect home base for our weekend kayak adventures . Son of a gun if I did ask one thing of Jen ! lol in this Awful rainy miserable spring , I asked her for one day of sun ! We had a perfect weekend the weather was beautiful !! Please don’t book here lol I want it available for our next Alleghany adventure . It’s a great place. Even the babies owls that dive bombed us at our evening fire was awesome !

The stay at Elizabeth’s spot was great! She was an amazing host and help me as soon as I needed help the place was fantastic. The front porch was great. I loved it and her spot is far enough away from the crazy city life so you can have privacy but yet only about 11 to 20 minutes away from all the beautiful hiking spots 10 out of 10 would recommend and most likely will be getting this spot again when I revisit !

Lisa was very responsive, usually within 30 mins. The location was easy to find. Loved the setting. Unfortunately, it rained most of our stay so we didn't get to use the fire pit or grill. We did see 2 black bears on the other side of the stream at the back of the property and a deer across the road during our stay. Would definitely stay again. It was perfect for the 4 of us and our 2 dogs.

Every time I am in town, I try to stay at one of Jim and Carol's places. I can always count on them to be clean and comfortable. Love the location - very walkable to all the great shops and restaurants downtown and still super convenient to get to all the awesome outdoor spaces in the Allegheny National Forest. Jim and Carol are great hosts - always friendly and responsive, and they made sure I knew that Warren's Fall Foliage Festival was happening that weekend. Will definitely come back!

This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin. It is clean. Lots of beds and a good sized living room. We love sitting on the front porch in the mornings. It has a nice sized yard. The personal touches like a new dog toy waiting for our dog, a box of outdoor toys for the kids, etc. are so nice. We would recommend this cabin for a nice, peaceful getaway.
