We had an amazing stay at The Anchorage Hotel in Shillong. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, making it a very comfortable experience. The location was peaceful yet conveniently close to the main attractions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shillong!

The Homestead B & B_Double

Super comfortable stay and felt like home - which is exactly what I needed on a week long work trip. Everyone at the BnB was very kind and hospitable, from owners to staff. The room was very clean (no dusty surfaces and fresh linen) and well equipped. Anything I needed I could ask for. Favorite small touches were things like biscuits by the tea station or the Netflix I could come back and watch after a long day (+breakfast surprises!). The Villa is located safely in the center of town, walking distance to markets. Nextdoor is a popular Cafe, Scotty’s, where one can get a quick snack at any time until 9pm. Travelers can book the Homestead without any hesitation! There are some guidelines to keep in mind, like requesting a dinner early, being back on premises by 10pm (which I’m sure can change on given days according to your plan), etc. but nothing too tough. Big thanks again to Maria, Jo, and this time their sister Jean who were lovely hosts, so thoughtful and so caring.

My stay at Shillong was absolutely exceptional, largely thanks to the incredible hospitality of Veera! From the moment I arrived, Veera went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and memorable experience. The house helps Rebecca and Craw were very helpful in providing timely breakfast and all other necessary helps! What truly set this Airbnb apart was the Veera's willingness to help in all possible aspects. Whether it was arranging transportation, offering tips on local culture, suggestions on what restaurants to go or simply being available for a friendly chat, she was always there to assist. Her genuine warmth and helpfulness made me feel truly at home.

I had a good stay at Traveler’s Nest. It’s a beautiful home and the caretaker is helpful and responsive. The room was clean. It’s quite compact, but since I was traveling solo, this wasn’t an issue.
