Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Walker County

Very comfortable, clean home and room. Good communication. Loved the cute pup and company.

Had a nice stay, house was clean and settup well. I am in the are alot so i will stay here when it is not booked up.

Great place to stay with family. Kids had a great time kayaking, fishing, and the game room. Mindy is a great host, very responsive, honest, and clear instructions. She even sent pictures of water levels before our arrival. Higgly recommend, and we would definitely stay here again.

Darcy is a fantastic host! She fast to respond and made sure we were right at home during our stay. The home was the perfect size for my mother, myself, and my toddler, but it could definitely accommodate a couple more. It was cozy and peaceful.

very responsive, from booking to check in & out. We had a nearby wedding & it was used for rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding & for out of state guest while in town. There was a lot of space for everyone & perfect for rehearsal dinner. There was an issue with check in initially, but host was super responsive & quickly resolved. One of the showers was causing a ceiling leak down stairs we had to put a bowl to catch water and prevent any water damage on the wood floors. We notified host who stated she would pass along the info to her maintenance. The night of the wedding when we got back to the house our guest stated it smelled of gas. We could not get a hold of host, however it was late. The fire dept was called to make sure everything was okay. They checked the house & was determined safe. There detectors did go off outside the perimeter of the house but said it was safe. One guest left their autistic son’s baby blanket he had to have. Host was willing to mail it for us!

Such a charming and peaceful location! Clean , comfortable, and felt right at home . We definitely will be back .

The accommodation was amazing, the cabins are super beautiful and clean, the location is unbeatable—a very family-friendly environment surrounded by nature. Arturo helped us with everything, and we are sure we will return many more times and bring more friends. We loved the finishes of the place, and it is very beautiful.We met very friendly people and felt in a very family-oriented environment. We loved the garden and the very professional way of caring for the environment. Thank you, Lost Forest Cabins, for everything!!

We enjoyed the stay and it is a nice place if you wanna get away from the hustle and bustle of life.. very serene

Had a really great stay. The house was super clean had all the things needed to cook a meal. We played a few rounds of Clue. We didn’t have bug spray so we didn’t go outside or use the hammock. At night it felt a bit exposed since you can see right into one of the homes next us so we kept the lights pretty dimmed.

Nestled deep in the forest, this peaceful retreat helped us reconnect with the calm we so often lose in the hustle of city life. At the same time, the cabin offered every modern convenience—from air conditioning to grilling tools—along with beautiful decorative touches that constantly reminded us of the natural setting we were in. We spent two incredibly relaxing days by the lake, swinging in hammocks, and even enjoyed a morning of outdoor yoga that felt both grounding and revitalizing. Already counting the days until our next visit! Arturo was an exceptional host—kind, attentive, and always available. He answered all of our questions and even gave us great recommendations for places to visit in the nearby towns.

The experience was extremely beautiful!!! We went as a family, with teenage daughters and they asked to go back soon!!! The activities in nature were fun and engaging for everyone!!! They enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding, we enjoyed quiet walks, coffee in nature, yoga practices on a beautiful deck, lighting the fire to eat outside when the sun went down, that is, everything was magical!!! We definitely have new dates to return! It was a few days of vacation and disconnection, just 1 hour away from our house!!! Thank you Arturo and all the staff for the kindness, assistance, recommendations and for receiving us so lovingly!!!

The cabin was so lovely! The space was beautiful, clean and peaceful. I enjoyed my stay for my birthday weekend getaway, it was the perfect spot. The host was very friendly and communicated effectively. Make sure to carry a strong flashlight because it gets pitch dark at night but so lovely during the day! It’s also much better in person! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to get out of the city.

We had a great time here for our quick 1 night getaway. It was very clean, cozy, and there was a lot to do in the area including trails, the lake, and more. Juan was very sweet and responsive to our questions.
