Holiday rentals with lake access in Waldeck-Frankenberg

We (2 adults and 1 toddler) spent a few days at Lake Edersee and enjoyed staying with Gerhard very much. The apartment is very cozy and spacious and offers a wonderful view of Waldeck Castle. Gerhard and his wife were always approachable for us, extremely friendly and helpful. Highlight (especially with toddler) was the massage chair we liked to use. The lake is not in the immediate vicinity, but is also easily accessible by bus and the Waldecker Geckobahn.

Lovingly furnished, super equipped and a great view - we didn't lack anything. We felt very comfortable right away!

The accommodation is top! Very well and modern equipped, clean and furnished as shown in the photos. Communication with the owners is also quick and detailed. Only the cleaning fee of €100 is quite high, but we had to bring our own bed linen, clear the dishwasher and empty the garbage cans ourselves. Checking the electricity meter itself is also recommended (own measurement was 50% less kwh). But definitely recommended.

Great place and highly recommended! We were there with our team from Fr. Were received super nicely, even with a personal welcome 😊 The amenities were great, the rooms and bathrooms super clean and nicely furnished. The sauna was used daily 😍 With foosball, ping pong table, barbecue hut and much more, we didn't miss anything. On Sunday, we received a personal farewell. All communication was super easy and fast and really very warm. We will be happy to come back and can only recommend the accommodation and the two "landlords" Sandra and Christoph. High praise to the two of them 🙏🏻

We had a wonderful time in the cottage on Lake Twist! Especially for families with young children, the house is ideal: secured sockets, a children's fence by the stairs, many toys and even a child seat make for a relaxing holiday. The big ones are also well taken care of: there are plenty of seating. The terrace is large and in the evening you can enjoy the sun on the bench in front of the house. Inside, a cozy sofa invites you to relax, and the large dining table is perfect for shared meals or game nights. There are some gastronomicAngebore on the lake. The delicious ice cream at Klabautermann is highly recommended! Many thanks to the warm hosts – we will be happy to come back!

We had spent a furniture weekend at the property and were more than satisfied. Very nice cozy house . Lovingly furnished and well equipped. Everything is plentiful in the kitchen Water was within walking distance. For the children, there was even a great playground in the holiday village. Host very friendly Conclusion: Highly recommended, 5/5 stars

Super great and very friendly stay with dear Ruth. For children it is also great, a lot of green space is available, a small private playground that you can use. Friendly hosts can be reached quickly, what more could you ask for. Thanks Ruth for the nice pleasant days

Excellent apartment, tasteful and modern decor, everything worked fine. Everything seemed as good as new (February 2025). Good comfortable beds. Winterberg is nearby by car. Beautiful view. Quiet location. Easy to find. Key exchange went smoothly. In short, not so much to criticize actually.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. Everything was clean, tastefully decorated and we were expecting a lot of little amenities that we appreciated very much. We will certainly come back and then definitely choose this apartment again, because we really enjoyed our stay at Edersee and in the cottage Schöneblick.

Dream apartment at a top location!! Lovingly and very stylishly furnished apartment near Winterberg with direct lake access. The apartment has all the amenities we needed for our short trip and even more than that ( sauna, hi-fi projector in the bedroom!) Unfortunately we had to leave earlier, but we'd love to come back! !

We felt very comfortable in the apartment of the Paul family. The apartment is spacious, comfortably furnished and very well equipped. We didn't miss anything and our hubd also felt so comfortable. Christiane and Alfred are excellent hosts. Thank you for the lovely stay with you! 😊

This was the second stay in Carina's beautiful apartment and certainly not the last. The kitchen equipment is very high quality with pots from Le Creuset and so is the whole interior. The lake is just a stone's throw away and there is a parking space at the house. Those who are very sensitive to traffic noise may be particularly bothered by the motorcyclists, but unfortunately you can hear them almost everywhere in the area. The bedroom is at the back, so it is very quiet at night. Overall, a holiday apartment for feeling good and relaxing!

This apartment was the absolute hit! From the first minute, we felt welcome and at home. Original, as in the photos, the apartment is very nicely furnished and equipped and exudes its charm! We didn't miss anything! Super good communication before and during the stay. Again and again!! :)

Wonderful stay, very calm, close to different things to do or see. House immaculate

Very cozy accommodation, 4 min walk from Silver Lake. Parking is great, garden, barbecue, sun loungers, sun swing and outdoor children's toys provided. The kitchen is well equipped. The only drawback for people with small children is that the house is clairaudient, you can hear the wood creaking when you walk around the upper floor. The Wi-Fi is very weak and you hardly have any network there, not tragic but planning a little annoying for excursions, working from home would not be possible. Otherwise great accommodation, offers a lot in the vicinity. Every space was used from the house so that 6 people have enough space. We would come back.

Very nice holiday cottage with really dedicated property manager. We were there over the weekend with 5 adults, 2 toddlers and a dog and felt comfortable.

Very nice stay at Wolfgang's. Beautiful park in a special landscape. Short lines with the manager via app. Very neat house with BBQ, bicycles, sun lounger for outside. And a beautiful view. The downside was a creaky staircase but that is a small detail. Highly recommended for a pleasant stay

We had the pleasure of enjoying a rustic yet beautifully decorated place. The amenities were complete, and there was everything you need for a comfortable stay. Particularly noteworthy are the electric cars for children – they were a complete success and provided a lot of joy! Unfortunately, we couldn't try the hot tub due to the weather, but that doesn't detract from the positive impression. We felt completely comfortable and look forward to coming back.
