Fantastic stay at Sylvies villa! Very quiet and peaceful. Amazing wildlife on your doorstep. The pool was fantastic.

The perfect place for a trip to Galle! The bedrooms are large and comfortable (w/ AC). Multiple gathering areas inside the house. Fast internet, a useful kitchen and a washing machine, and many more subtle touches make for an excellent and convenient stay.

We had the best time at the villa. The minute we entered we were in awe of the place. It actually looked better than the pictures. We were a bunch of girls and skeptical about the safety as it was a new country but Binara made us feel right at home. There was periodical cleaning at the villa with a caretaker always at the property. The pool was always maintained clean and the team maintained privacy as well. Binara was always helpful and responsive. The location is bang on as well. Walkable to beach and 5 mins to all the famous cafes like Kai, cactus etc. couldn’t have asked for a better place to live in SriLanka. Highly recommend this place- be it with you family or friends.

Loved our stay at Villa Sepalika! The location is amazing - an oasis of calm and green with the odd peacock and monkey to add to the tropical holiday! The pool is outstanding and the lawn is great for games (if you can tear yourself away from the beautiful big verandah!). The staff were lovely - they made sure we had everything we needed and the cook was superb! Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to the next time!

The stay was absolutely wonderful. The villa is stunning. Sanjeeva is the caretaker and is absolutely fantastic, so helpful in ever way. The location is quite rural which made it feel secluded but in a lovely way. thanks

We had a lovely stay at Patricia’s house! Located within the fort, it is a stone’s throw from lovely restaurants as well as historic sites and the cricket ground. Patricia sent a really comprehensive list of recommendations before our stay, which were very helpful and Chandra was on hand to make us feel welcomed and looked after (including a cooked breakfast). There are three bedrooms at the property - two downstairs (two singles and a double) that are connected via a courtyard with a lovely plunge pool. The third bedroom is up a fairly steep set of stairs. Each bedroom has an en-suite. With two young children and two adults, we all opted to stay downstairs and it was plenty of space for us. Beautiful house in a gorgeous location. The house and pool area are absolutely stunning. Everyone was very attentive. We did not really utilise the chef because the ingredient cost was slightly out of budget (we are students who were having the cost of accommodation reimbursed by our university). Only other thing to note is that after booking we were made aware that an 1000 rupee per person per day tip was expected, which again was a slight problem for us because the cost of accommodation was covered by the uni but the cost of tip wasn’t. But for anyone paying for this amazing house themselves I can’t see this being a problem.

Just... wow! We felt truely blessed with the opportunity to stay here. The pictures really don't do the view and villa justice, it's a really remarkable find and absolutely stay here if you get the chance. Sonali and her family are wonderful people, who really made the stay. Sonali's cooking was wonderful, lots of dishes each evening that were so tasty and taking the time to go through the menu with us is really thoughtful and made sure we enjoyed everything. Lesley and Ken have truely thought of everything, there's not a single thing missing and nothing to be improved on. We went out easily on tuk tuks to visit surrounding areas, only to return to absolute bliss with a dip in the warm infinity pool. We even took a little boat ride around the lake from the dock at the end of the garden that Sonali organised for us. This place is a true gem, and we felt so lucky to be able to stay here - just try and stop us visting again!

Equally wonderful was the gracious hospitality of Ushan, who was always there with a warm smile, ready to assist with anything we needed - reservations, recommendations, or simply answering our many questions with patience and kindness. His presence made everything smooth and enjoyable. The Dragonfly Villa exceeded all expectations. Every person we encountered went out of their way to make our family trip very special. We left feeling so lucky and grateful

We had the most amazing stay at Elspeth Villa in Ahangama! The villa itself is absolutely stunning – beautifully designed, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, and you can truly feel the care that went into creating such a peaceful space. Elspeth was a wonderful host, super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Our stay at Wigis villa was wonderful. The villa itself is located in a perfect spot allowing you immediate access to the beach as well as the Main Street with all its cafes, shops and restaurants, on the other side. The villa is a haven of tranquility, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the town. Inside, the house is fully equipped and very well kept. The garden was beautiful and our children had many hours of fun in the lovely pool. Lastly what really made it great was the excellent team on hand. The team prepared beautiful breakfasts each day, together with lunch and dinners on request. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back!

Cecile has a dream place for any family to stay. From the location to the great staff, everything felt like home away from home. The great view, large pool, and staff who cooked tasty food contributed to this. If you love local Sri Lankan food, Manjula provides the best. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to any family who wants a peaceful view of Sri Lanka with the best amenities and a great staff to take care of them.

What a beautiful place. Light, airy with wonderful sea views. Nissanka and Damnika were stars. Always helpful and available. Great cooking. Easy walking everywhere. Will be back. Only slight downside was that the wifi was erratic which wasn’t great for working.

We had a great time at this beautiful villa. It’s absolutely stunning and well located to the heart of Ahangama. Tim was extremely helpful and responsive. The staff were not overhearing and left us to get on with things. The breakfasts were delicious and portions generous. One morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and the next the international breakfast with delicious butter milk pancakes. Dinner was also great and the chef worked hard to provide a variety as everyone ordered something different. Thanks Gamunu and co we enjoyed our time at the villa.

We just returned from the most unforgettable stay at this stunning private villa in the south of Sri Lanka, and we’re still floating from the experience! We were 3 families with 6 young kids (ages 3 to 8), and this place was pure paradise for all of us. From the moment we booked, the host Sophie was an absolute gem—warm, welcoming, incredibly responsive, and full of helpful tips to make our stay extra smooth. The villa itself? Breathtaking. Think lush gardens, open tropical spaces, beautifully designed rooms, and a serene vibe that instantly makes you feel relaxed and at home. It was spacious enough for our group to feel comfortable and connected, with plenty of areas for the kids to explore and the adults to unwind. And the staff! So friendly, so kind, and so attentive. But the real star of the show was Dias, the private chef, who absolutely blew us away with his who absolutely blew us away with his cooking. If you’re thinking of staying here—do it. This place is magic.

We spent four days at Villa Sõmar and are completely satisfied. The villa is spacious, very clean and exactly as in the description. In the morning there is a delicious breakfast served by two very dear employees. The Sri Lankan banana pancakes are highly recommended. Furthermore, before arrival, you will receive a very detailed message in which, among other things, there are many restaurant recommendations, beaches nearby and even numbers of two tuk tuk drivers. The location is fine and you can reach anything by tuk tuk or scooter. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and would come back any time.

We came in a group of 4 friends. Never seen such spacious villa. Comes with 3 bedrooms (two located on top and one at the ground floor). Spiral Staircase might be difficult for elderly. First thing that I must praise is the housekeeper, his name is Lakshan and he’s the most attentive boy ever. He’s always ready to assist. He helps to cook and reheat too. Theres ample of place for us to chill. From the living hall to the kitchen to the outdoor seats we basically fully utilized the space. The only downside is that it’s a little far from the Main Street coz the small lane seems quiet at night but it’s convenient to order food via apps so we never had to walk out. By the way; we arent pet lovers but the two doggies are sooooooooo well behaved.

Very difficult to put into words how wonderful the villa is. Very easy to find, great welcome, kitchen well stocked. 3 big bedrooms; 2 with outside showers. The housekeepers really make the stay. They prepare breakfast each morning to be eaten outside by the pool. They will also cook dinner if required, which, frankly was the best food we ate in Sri Lanka. The pool is lovely and in shade. In fact I’d say the property and experience is better than described. 10 mins by the gardeners tuk tuk to Mirissa Beach and restaurants. Thank you!

Our 3rd time back at Mula Villa, had a wonderful time, as always. The house is amazing and comfortable, a few nice upgrade since our last visit (filtered water machine, new cushions), we love this place and the fantastic staff. We were not at all bothered by neighboring construction noise as permis other comments

Eliya Villa was an absolute gem. Direct beach access made every moment feel like a dream, calm, golden, and just breathtaking. The hosts were incredibly kind and always available, helping us with cooking, arranging transport, and making sure we had everything we needed. Their warmth really made the stay special. The villa was spotless, beautifully designed, and so peaceful, felt instantly relaxed and at home. Waking up to the sound of waves, sipping coffee by the beach. It was pure magic. Would definitely come back.

Ben was quite responsive and had proper recommendations of places to visit and eat during our stay. Roshan , the manager there was quite helpful , he set us up with scooter , cleaned the pool regularly , was always there if we needed anything. The location of the air bnb was perfect and it looked exactly like the pictures. Overall 10/10 stay

Words cannot describe how perfect our stay was. Sharmini was a fantastic host, even before we got there. She was quick to answer my many questions about the villa, the local area and sharing details of companies that could collect our large party of 12 from the airport. Even calling them on my behalf when they didn't respond to my messages. The photos of the villa don't do it justice. The rooms are all a fantastic size, beds and pillows comfy and the bathrooms are wonderful. The location on the beach was just perfect. We were 3 families with 6 children between 2 and 8 and we all spent our time running from beach to pool l. Idilic. But the standout feature of the villa is the fabulous and dedicated staff. Dilu, Milan and Bandu. Dilu could not do enough for us and was on hand, yet discreet. Milan! Well his cooking is easily the best I've had in Sri Lanka. He cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for all of us every night catering for us all! Our villa stay was perfect in every way!
