Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Wakayama

Very nice and modern house close to the station. Konbini is just along the road basically right next to the Nankai Misakikoen Station. Take the train to wakayamashi and exit after 1 or 2 stops to get to the Aeon Mall Wakayama. It is huge. Loads of shops. The house itself is really nice, air-conditioning in every room, futon are thick and comfy. 1 bathroom and 2 toilets are quite convenient when travelling with 4 or more people. ありがとうございました。

Amazing traditional Japanese style home with amazing shower. Highly recommend the home, the location is in an area with not much to do though. We stayed here for Nachi falls, which is about 30min away. If you are looking for a place to unwind after big city life this place is perfect.

This place is very peaceful. It’s private and surrounded by forest, right next to a clear running river. There’s a nice braai area. Everything is spotlessly clean. Nice bath in the house and all amenities. The area is close to a bus stop on the kumano kodo route which makes it easy. Highlight is definitely the host, Junpei, who was incredibly helpful and friendly! Junpei helped us with storing our heavy bags for the kumano kodo which was incredible. He was also very caring and checked that we were okay on every account. It felt like staying at a friends house and we felt very comfortable and looked after. Absolutely perfect.

Our host was really helpful, he came pick us up at the train station and took us to a restaurant 15min away by car. He also took us to a convenience store nearby so we could go grocery shopping before sleeping. He suggested his help all along and was very friendly. The house itself was super clean, convenient and comfortable. We only wish we could have enjoyed it a bit more ! Thank you very much for a wonderful experience !

Beautiful two-story house by the sea, all the places inside the house can be described as spotless, all the electrical facilities are very convenient (the first time I used a microwave oven that can sing😊), we felt the owner's careful maintenance and hospitality.The bus stop about 100 meters from the door can reach many places, including the station, so it is relatively convenient for transportation.The B&B is very close to the beach. On the last day, my friends and I saw a very beautiful sunset outside the window. We screamed and ran to the Sanshui Observation Deck to take a lot of photos. This will be a memory we cherish very much!

I appreciate that the host introduced local restaurants and attractions. The location is a bit inconvenient, it would be better to drive there. The room was clean but a bit old.

I was able to stay like own home. Due to unusual cold, the owner brought a brand new electric blanket and I was able to sleep in the warm bed. I thought it was very kind of them.

Great stay, the balcony is facing the sea, watching the beauty of the sea breeze and chatting with friends!The host was warm and kind, and helped to schedule an omakase next to the sea view as well as the sea fishing project, which made our whole trip more enjoyable and we had a lot of fun every day!

The place looks better than the photos and is beyond our expectation. We all enjoyed the stay! Hot pot stove and pot will be provided upon request, we had shabu shabu during the cold winter night which is awesome! The place is spotlessly clean. Everything is great. The sun rise view from the room is spectacular.

The place was peaceful and felt like home. Surrounding was beautiful and had a ocean view from our floor. House was well cleaned, organised and had all the necessary amenities. Me and my family felt really welcoming and had a good time staying in that place. This place is sufficient for 5-6 people. They also have free parking space on premise. This place is very near to the Senjojiki rock plateau and sandanbeki cliff. Highly recommended.

The facility feels like a retreat and is old, but it is well cleaned.Also, the bath was very good with the source.

I used it for two nights. The interior was clean and we had a pleasant time. There are plenty of washing machines with dryers and household appliances, so you can travel with less luggage. I was hesitant to use the kettle, etc. because I heard that they are not used properly in hotels, but here, all the appliances and kitchen utensils are available, so I thought that there would be less worry and decided to use it. It was more comfortable than I imagined and I want to use it again.

I arrived at 13 o'clock and ate at the restaurant in the facility, checked in at 14 o'clock. After that, I spent the→ bathing→ dinner, and I was able to sleep slowly and get tired until the next morning.I was very satisfied with being able to spend a quiet night out of the city for more than an hour by car.I will stay there again on the weekend.
