Farm View Cottage is the perfect idyllic retreat! The cottage and surrounds were truly stunning and all the extra little special touches made our stay unbelievably lovely. The delicious breakfast options (including cupcakes with Happy Birthday on - beautiful attention to detail!), the exceptional hand soaps, lotions and bath bombs and the incredible projector screen set up were all extra special. It was private and luxurious and we will be recommending it to everyone we know! Thank you so much, Nick and Marlena!

It was our second stay at the cottage and we will be back again. Wonderful, quiet spot surrounded by beautiful gardens and views of the hills around Waipawa. Johanna and Andrew are the perfect hosts. It was a great stay.

A stunning property that is both quite and private but a quick ride into the city. Where to begin, this property is stunning, clearly pride of ownership is at the forefront of their agenda. The cottage is so well appointed and everything we could have imagined was there for us. Clean and comfortable is throughout this place of absolute serenity. The gas fireplace adds just the right amount of warmth and ambiance to a romantic evening. We are so glad we stayed here and would definitely like to come stay again. Top to bottom, perfect.

Loved our stay! Especially the outdoor bath. Very clean, nice and quiet. Went on a couple walks around the property which was beautiful and our dog had the best time.

We had a delightful stay at Lucinda’s lovely cottage. Greeted on arrival and drove straight into what felt like a very private space all of our own - yet with walking tracks or the option of the road connecting us up with the animals, pond and gardens. Outdoor bath under the autumnal leaves was a highlight for me and my daughter fell in love with Nutz the cat and Sheldon the pig. We enjoyed feeding him our breakfast scraps. And so cosy with the fire to keep us warm. We’ll be back!

We had a great stay at Michael's cute cottage, a home away from home. It had everything we needed and nice extra touches like wine, milk and coffee left for us. We enjoyed the log fire, wood fired hot tub and cosy nights in with trivial pursuit. Michael was great to communicate with and was really helpful when we left an item behind. Thanks again Michael

Stayed 4 nights, so glad we stayed the extra night. Had all the essentials plus more. Extremely comfortable beds, spotlessly clean throughout, delicious home made bread, lovely fully fenced garden and appreciated being able to take our little dogs (they also had a great holiday). Close walk to the beach and lovely to listen to the waves at night. Very peaceful and private and fantastic hosts that go above and beyond to create a wonderful stay. Easy access to the cottage and was a bonus being able to park under the carport. We’re already looking forward to our next stay.

Great wee Bach. Clean and tidy with everything we needed. Nice outdoor areas. Kai Iwi beach fantastic to explore. Lots to do in Whanganui. Enjoyed our stay. Hope to come back and enjoy beach in summer.

Crabtree Cottage is a beautiful haven. Peaceful with a lovely sense of style with comfy leather sofa and armchairs to curl up in with a book. Whilst it was still (just) into Autumn we enjoyed the fire and warm welcoming space. Great shower pressure and heated towel rail. The bed is super comfy with lively fresh crisp sheets and pillows. Love the decor and look and feel of the cottage. The garden is a delight. We picked 2 figs and lemons straight from the back yard to enjoy we cheese platter and tisane and wondered through the front garden to get ideas for our own garden. Wish I’d brought my watercolours. We stayed for 2 nights but could have happily stayed for longer, this is a fantastic location and great little place to stay for a couple or family. We had our pooch and he loved playing with the other small dogs and exploring the grounds. Thanks for the delicious fruit and local recommendations ☺️🙏

Nice and clean, comfortable beds. We enjoyed making a fire and were nice and cosy once it got going. Would stay again.

Lovely little cottage. Great kitchen and hot showers. Easy walk to shingle beach. Easy drive to Napier and beyond. Warm and cosy in the evening- sun in the afternoon. Perfect for a weekend away. Host live next door if any questions.

Very quaint cottage on private and peaceful rural setting. Homely feel. Very comfortable beds. Fantastic working kitchen with generous offerings of fruit bowl, coffee, milk, butter and nibbles. Brought my cast iron frying pan from home, but didn’t need it as there were 2 available. Good kitchen facilities and has great ambience. Fantastic to be able to bring our small dog. 5 of us had a wonderful birthday celebration and half marathon weekend. Thank you very much Win and Thomas, staying at your cottage made it a truly special event.

Heron cottage made for an absolutely wonderful weekend; stunning views, cozy cottage with fireplace and lovely Rae went the extra mile to make us feel at home! Beautiful part of the Hawkes Bay Area close to the good wineries and Te Mata for a hike.

Gorgeous house, beautifully styled, very comfortable bed and all the necessary items for a longer stay. Great bath and amenities and walking access to the local shops and restaurants. Absolutely recommend Thankyou.

We had a lovely stay! We arrived in the dark and waking up to that view was something else! Such a special spot to take little ones, being able to come back and forth from the beach as we pleased was fantastic! Also loved the family feel of the Bach - you could tell there were many happy memories had there over the generations! Very accomodating hosts with great communication. We would love to visit again. Highly recommend

Lucy’s place was absolutely wonderful. A great space to meet up with my friend when I was in town for a conference. Really looked forward to coming at the end of the day. A very peaceful place with fruit trees everywhere. Would 100% book again.

We had clear instructions how to enter the property and was greeted with a lovely bottle of Martinborough Riesling! We had a phenomenal view of the sky in the evening, seeing the galaxy and even lucky enough to catch the Aurora Australis! 😍 The house itself was warm, cosy and perfect for a peaceful trip. We just wish we stayed longer! 😅 Super close to the neighbouring towns and right next to Stonehenge Aotearoa. thanks Kate, we loved our stay!
