We had a lovely stay at Sue and Stephen’s place. It was calm, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful fruit trees — such a refreshing retreat! Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Both Sue and Stephen were friendly, responsible, and genuinely caring hosts. We accidentally left our wallet behind and only realized after reaching home. Sue was incredibly helpful and immediately offered to send it back to us via courier. So grateful for their kindness and support. Highly recommended! Athira and Rijin

We stayed here for a month as were moving to the local area - we couldn't have picked a better Air B and B!! Ruth and Regan were the most amazing hosts. The location is idyllic, close enough to everything you need a short but calm and beautiful surroundings. It is well equipped, clean and spacious. Ruth and Regan checked in regularly with us to make sure all was okay and to answer any questions we had about the place or the local area, and are super friendly and gracious hosts. They were also very accommodating with allowing us to stay with 2 pets that had travelled from the UK with us. Having morning coffee outside whilst listening to the zoo animals nearby is such a treat! We will recommend to any friends and family that visit us. A perfect place to stay when exploring Hamilton and the Waikato region!

We found Robyn very responsive when communicating. The property was very clean and tidy with a peaceful outlook onto farmland. The friendly dog Coco was wagging her tail at our arrival! We will definitely return on our next visit to the Tron.

Driving up to the property is stunning horses in the field, a lovely country feel! interior was immaculate bed super comfortable. everything you need for an overnight stay. Would highly recommend this accommodation Thank you Kathie :)

Very quiet location. Tastefully decorated cottage with a very comfortable bed and an amazing deep bath. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Private and peaceful Airbnb that is close to nature & farm. Interacted with Fi briefly and was welcome by her dogs. No TV to distract us from the much needed rest during our NZ road trip. Well equipped kitchen with pots & pans, salt & pepper, utensils, fridge, microwave, and induction cooker. No air conditioner, but the temperature is comfortable during our visit. The dining table is outside with motion-sensor lights. Yet to try the outdoor bath but it was well equipped with hot & cold water tap and lights. Highly recommended for couples/ friends short getaway.

Perfect, luxurious, well-appointed studio in what is obviously one of the most beautiful places on earth. Very private and feels secluded but is a quick drive to Cambridge which has great cafes and even better pastries. We stayed here as a base for travel to Hobbiton, Rotorua and Taupo (a two hour drive but worth it) and highly recommend the back roads - the scenery is amazing. The studio itself has everything you need, the amenities are modern and high end and the bedding is so comfortable. We struggled to leave the comfort every morning, especially with the rain. Highly recommend staying here.

An Absolute Gem – Our Home Away from Home, Three Years Running. This was our third year staying at Annette and Hank’s beautiful property for Fieldays — and it only gets better every time. The attention to detail is incredible, from the delicious food left for us on arrival to the stunning rural South African-inspired decor. It’s warm, welcoming, and truly feels like a home away from home. The location is perfect with easy jetboat access to Fieldays, which is both practical and fun — a real highlight! But what sets this place apart is the heartfelt hospitality. Annette and Hank treat you like extended family. Their kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness create a space that’s not just comfortable, but special, a safe haven. We always leave feeling grateful and cared for— An absolute gem. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a lovely stay at Chris’s place. The unit is a private unit adjoining Chris’s house in the countryside a few miles outside of Hamilton. You’re only a 15-20 minute drive away from Hamilton, which has a good selection of supermarkets and restaurants. We chose to stay in the Hamilton area because it is centrally located for trips to Rotorua, the hot water beach at Kawhia, the beach at Raglan, and Waitomo caves. We were pleasantly surprised by some of the attractions in Hamilton though, including Hamilton Gardens and our kids also really enjoyed the children’s gallery at the Waikato Museum. Chris’s apartment has pretty much everything you need, including a washing machine, dryer, a small dishwasher, oven, microwave and a TV with Netflix. There’s also a nice, private deck at the back of the unit, overlooking a forested area. Chris was a friendly host, who met us to check us in and was responsive to any questions or requests for help that we had.
