We had a lovely stay at Sue and Stephen’s place. It was calm, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful fruit trees — such a refreshing retreat! Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Both Sue and Stephen were friendly, responsible, and genuinely caring hosts. We accidentally left our wallet behind and only realized after reaching home. Sue was incredibly helpful and immediately offered to send it back to us via courier. So grateful for their kindness and support. Highly recommended! Athira and Rijin

Lovely hosts and spotlessly clean place to stay! We were looking for somewhere near Sanctuary Mountain (only 15min away!) and being winter wanted a hot tub. Megan's home did not disappoint. Kitchenette bigger than we thought and easily accommodated the 4 of us for breakfasts. Hot tub was lovely on a chilly evening. Heat pumps in the bedrooms greatly appreciated. Would happily stay again, maybe next time in summer :)

Judith was an outstanding host. She gave us great suggestions for things to see in the area, and we got to see much more than we would have otherwise. The Cottage was spotlessly clean, with a cute fireplace, and the supplies Judith had ready for us were very much appreciated. The location was absolutely perfect for us... within easy driving distance to all the places we wanted to see. We loved our stay at Patch's Country Cottage, and would highly recommend it.

The property is gorgeous & very well located for a trip to hobbiton! Mary and her family are the best! I would highly recommend opting for the home cooked meal for a wonderful meal made with fresh ingredients from the farm! We look forward to coming back!

We wanted a simple farm stay with the opportunity to have some animal feeding and enjoy a relaxing time out of the city and we got exactly what we wanted. Quiet surroundings, flexible feeding time, decent range of animals, private and extremely clean unit with everything you need and more, quick drive takes you to a nearby cafe which had fantastic food and drinks, and Woolworths was also a nearby drive. Hosts were amazing and super responsive to all our questions. Highly recommended and we hope to have the chance to stay again if we ever return to New Zealand.

We stayed here for a month as were moving to the local area - we couldn't have picked a better Air B and B!! Ruth and Regan were the most amazing hosts. The location is idyllic, close enough to everything you need a short but calm and beautiful surroundings. It is well equipped, clean and spacious. Ruth and Regan checked in regularly with us to make sure all was okay and to answer any questions we had about the place or the local area, and are super friendly and gracious hosts. They were also very accommodating with allowing us to stay with 2 pets that had travelled from the UK with us. Having morning coffee outside whilst listening to the zoo animals nearby is such a treat! We will recommend to any friends and family that visit us. A perfect place to stay when exploring Hamilton and the Waikato region!

Perfect place to rest after busy days at Fielddays. Would recommend if anyone wants a place in the country but still close enough to get to Mystery Creek and Cambridge. Wish we had more free daytime hours to really see what the place looked like but it was everything we needed, great little pantry and fridge stocked with breakfast and drinks and nice and warm with heatpump and instant hot water in the shower. Jane was lovely and so kind :) Thanks so much for allowing use the use of your place :) - perfect also for leaving our trailer somewhere safe with security around it

A really lovely place. Lots of beautiful small touches that make the space feel really nice, was spotlessly clean. Really well stocked, especially the kitchen. Beautiful country views. Hosts were super friendly, took our toddler for a walk around to feed the animals which he loved. Great location, rural and secluded but still close to town if you needed anything. Really appreciative that they allow dogs also. Cabin has a heat pump so stays a nice temperature.

This is a quiet and peaceful location, with easy check-in and great communucation. The new diesel heater was fast and efficient, heating the room nicely. It was a charming pad with all the pottery made by Kimba. Be sure to take the opportunity to go up and have a look at her studio!

Pristine clean and gorgeous home presented beautifully with a gorgeous country backyard view. So lucky to find this gem so close to the Karapiro Lake and Cambridge town. Comfy beds and fabulous kitchen facilities.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Cottage von Deanne und konnten die Tage sehr viel in der Gegend unternehmen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und bot uns als Familie genügend Platz um sich zu entspannen. Großes Plus: eine komplett ausgestattete Küche und viel Platz zum Krabbeln für unseren Kleinen. Das Bad ist richtig cool eingerichtet.

Denise went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, offering helpful tips, local recommendations, and making us feel truly valued. The space itself was absolutely incredible—cozy, thoughtfully decorated, and so inviting. It really felt like a home away from home. This stay truly felt like a dream, and I can't thank Denise enough for creating such a warm and wonderful experience. The location is absolutely beautiful; so quiet and peaceful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with a HUGE bed, modern bathroom and nice big lounge (plus fireplace). We loved staying and Michael and his partner were really friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely gorgeous place to spend a relaxing couple of nights. Tony was an amazing host and the suite itself is cute and very well-supplied. The sunset views were unbeatable.

Wenjing is an amazing host. so very helpful and caring . the space is relaxing and comfortable . has everything you would need. location is great , out in the country but only a short easy drive to the city.

Sue’s Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! Every detail was thoughtfully curated — from the fresh baking that greeted us & supplied during our stay, to the beautiful, luxurious bedding that made for an incredibly restful stay. The space was spotless, cozy, and stylish, with everything we needed and more. Sue has truly created a warm and welcoming haven. We can’t wait to come back!

This place was amazing! The views were gorgeous. Our toddler loved the enclosed patio and was OBSESSED with Ginger the goat. The house was immaculate and the Cai was so helpful and available for any questions or guidance. Everything was so thoughtfully put together and the amenities were wonderful. There was even a drawer with items that were available if we forgot a hairbrush ect. We absolutely loved staying here and it was about 20 mins from Hobbiton. The local town of Cambridge was also so cute and had everything we could ever need! Thank you so much Cai and Mike!
