House holiday rentals in Wadhurst

This is the second time we have stayed at Corrina’s holiday home and once again we found it to be squeaky clean, very well equipped, peaceful and a great location. The garden is home to a family of foxes, who were so confident, that they sunbathed on the lawn whilst we were sitting on the veranda. Corrina made us aware of check in details in very good time and left a number just in case we needed assistance, which I’m happy to say we didn’t need. The surrounding area is so lush and green, this time of year, and there is always plenty of interesting things to do nearby. We will visit again next year, but hopefully for longer this time. Thank you.

We had a great long weekend stay here to celebrate a special birthday. The weather was good so the grandchildren made full use of the pool, huge garden and tennis court - as did some of the adults. House was very clean and well equipped. Very peaceful and secluded setting - everyone said they would love to come back again.

We had a fantastic time at Dormestone House. It is an amazing property with so much space so perfect for visiting with family or friends. It was the perfect place to celebrate Christmas. Would love to go in summer when we could use all of the facilities.

We enjoyed a 3 day mini break at the Calf Shed cottage with our 2 children and dog. The cottage itself was nice with open plan kitchen and comfy seating area, and a private garden area which was great for the kids and dog. A big bonus was the heated pool with stunning views. The weather was not great but the heated pool meant we could still use it, which is a short walk from the cottage. The kids also enjoyed the trampoline and table tennis. The main barn was not rented during our stay which meant we had sole use of the pool and play equipment. There was no welcome pack/booklet however the host Alison was quick to respond to questions (wifi password, bin locations, etc). Other comments is the double bed was actually 2 single beds which the kids commandeered and signs of wear and tear here and there. However overall a pleasant trip.

This is an amazing and beautiful eco property. Ivana and John have spent a lot of time carefully considering so many aspects of their beautiful home. The location is so peaceful. The beautiful aspect across their garden meant you could see wildlife and bunnies and beautiful sunrises. 🌅 All beds were super comfy. The wood burner was cozy. The sofa was great for a family and their TV stereo set up was brilliant. There are ALOT of lights etched to get used to, that create mood lighting in each room and Ivana manages the heating of the property remotely.

The barn was beautiful, we had such a lovely stay. The decor was stunning and there was lots of special touches that made our stay more comfortable. Michelle was very good at communicating with us and the main owner of the barn met us on out first day and gave us lots of useful information regarding the barn the sites and walks around the area. We would definitely love to come back in the future.

We had an extremely pleasant time during our stay. While booking I didn’t realize that there was no cooking range at the accomodation . We wanted some eggs for breakfast, Miles was extremely helpful. He made some mouth watering scrambled eggs for us. Thank you Miles for that.. really appreciate it . The surrounding place is extremely peaceful and scenic. We had a lovely stay while in between a house move. The surroundings were peaceful, and the space felt open and relaxing. Communication was smooth throughout check-in and check-out. Thanks for a pleasant and comfortable stay, James!

Polly's house was everything we had hoped for. We were thrilled when we opened the door and saw the warm welcoming cottage. Polly had left some basic supplies and the accommodation was full of many homely touches We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Polly's cottage.

Daniela’s cottage had the perfect size and layout for our little family reunion. It was very clean, tidy and beautiful, which made our holiday special. We particularly enjoyed the garden with its bbq, the well equipped kitchen and the proximity with the Ashdown forest, farm shops and Hever castle. Beds are comfortable which makes it easy to rest. Daniela was very helpful and kindly offered some lovely biscuits for our arrival :) I very much recommend this place and I would love to come back!

Lovely little character Victorian terraced house, a short walk from the centre of Tunbridge Wells. Jen's communication was excellent and we really appreciated her flexibility regarding cehck-in. The sitting room was extremely cosy with the log burner alight, and the separate dining room with a good solid table was a bonus. The kitchen is compact but well-equipped and had everything we needed to cook an Easter roast! Both bedrooms are a good size for a cottage with comfortable beds and high quality bed-linen. Charming listed cottage that overlooks a small green. Amazing deli shop 1 min walk away and lots of really nice pubs and places to eat . The property was spacious and clean , beds and pillows were comfortable. Has all you need . We would definitely stay again . Our host was so helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again .

Lovely family stay, host was super helpful prior to the trip and was hands-off (in a good way) during the trip. Perfect space for a family; we are a family of 5 (2 kids + baby). Huge garden, picnic table, outdoor seating and girls enjoyed the bunk beds. House is equipped with everything you could ever need, with the kitchen fully equipped with cooking utensils, pots / pans and crockery. Couldn’t fault anything, we would come back again; perhaps for longer as loads of day trips from here.

We stayed here on the way home to north England from the channel crossing and before visiting family in Greater London, the bungalow is spacious, quiet and very comfortable, with everything provided for a short or longer stay. We could tell it was a loved family home in the past. Kathy is friendly and responsive to any questions or hiccups that may arise. The garden surrounding it is an absolute delight and a much needed respite from the busy-ness of southern England. So pleasant to see greenery all around the house. We would definitely use Kathy’s place again and recommend it to others.

Spent 6 pleasant days at Littleshaw Cottage. Although we went in June the evenings were chilly but the underfloor heating in the cottage kept us warm. All the things we needed, and more, for a comfortable stay were provided. We felt very secure in the cottage as it is in the private grounds of the main house behind a gated driveway. This was our first visit to Kent and there is so much to see. If we returned for another holiday we would like to stay here again.

Wow. Staying at Taylour House was like stepping back in time - in the best possible way. The house is steeped in history and beautifully preserved, full of character and charm. It felt like staying in a living museum, but with all the modern comforts thoughtfully in place. Caroline, the host, was absolutely wonderful - friendly, welcoming, and incredibly flexible, which made the whole experience relaxed and easy. The house was spotless, extremely well equipped, and exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Edenbridge, with a great pub directly opposite that serves top-notch Sunday roasts. A rare bonus was having off-street parking for two cars - a real luxury for a town centre property. Taylour House is a gem. Full of history, excellent value, and hosted with genuine warmth - we’d love to come back.

Sara has decorated and furnished this very spacious cottage with that very pleasant English feel. The double kitchen is spacious. The cosy lounge with its wood burning stove makes this place romantic and the bed is very comfortable. Beautiful place close to amenities and quite easy to find with the instructions received. I could not recommend this place and its host Sara enough.

Ricky was a great host and outlined all the relevant information we could need before we arrived. Check in couldn’t have been easier and the place was spotless. Really appreciated the small amenities like coffee, milk, towels, hair dryer etc. The shower was great, the bed was extremely comfortable, it was round the corner from the train station but also the road the house is on was still quiet, well apart from the seagulls but it is Brighton 😅 House was a nice temperature, everything worked, WiFi worked great. Decor was tasteful and uncluttered, the little outdoor patio area was cute. Really can’t fault anything at all.

We had such a special time staying here for our anniversary, it was in such a beautiful location that was perfect for a peaceful getaway, the hot tub located in a lit up clearing surrounded by woodland was incredible and the cabin itself was a pleasure to stay in, a modern but natural feeling that smelled incredible! A perfect place for a weekend away. The space was immaculate and thoughtfully decorated, every little detail carefully considered to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere such as the beautiful fireplace located in the living room. Is you’re truly looking for a peaceful getaway where you can unwind and reconnect with nature, look no further. The host- demonstrated excellent communication and was very respectful, helpful and kind throughout our stay.

The place is great - very clean, airy and with all the amenities needed. It is situated a bit further from historical centre (Pantiles), in more residential area with loads of nice (and not touristy) restaurants/coffee shops/pubs to choose from. It is also just right next to the park. Dominic was very responsive and accommodating host. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in a fabulous property in a beautiful setting on a working farm .The Oast House was well equipped and spacious . Carly, the host, was great at communicating and her instructions were very clear . A couple of minor snags were dealt with very promptly. The area is great for visiting the many National Trust properties in the area. We are hoping to make a return visit one day soon .

The barn was very spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The surroundings were stunning with lovely places in the grounds to sit and relax. We also enjoyed watching the rabbits run around and the walk through the woods to a local pub. Peter was very welcoming and we would highly recommend his and Marilyn’s place to stay.

We were attending a wedding locally and the location of this home was amazing. The cottage is beautiful and the fire was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend.
