Very nice accommodation, lovingly and fully equipped with everything you need in a cottage. We felt very comfortable and Herbert is a very friendly host. Highly recommend.

There were six of us with a dog in the small terraced house. Everything was clean and tidy. With six adults, you need some organizational skills, as it is not particularly large. But everything was absolutely sufficient and we felt very comfortable. With a dog, the location was great. The beach is within walking distance in a few minutes and directly opposite there is a small forest for walking. The small garden is also beautiful. A grill is available on the terrace. We can only recommend the accommodation and would be happy to come back!

I stayed for a month, and the apartment was great. It was so lovely to sit at the open windows overlooking the canal, the bed was very comfortable, I had everything I needed, and it's a short bike ride to anywhere. The tour of the upstairs was fascinating! Good to know: Part of the beauty of this place is that it's near the center, in the old section. That means there are canals everywhere, it has tons of character and history, and it's easy to get anywhere on foot or by bike. It also means that it is near a touristy area. Don't let that stop you! I don't like the hordes of tourists at all, but I was happy here. I simply rode a few blocks away at the busiest times to escape. And Herengracht itself in front of the building isn't crowded. Sure, canal tour boats glide by, but they're fun to watch. The couch is comfy, the chairs are less so, but two people can enjoy the couch. The kitchen is a little bit worn, but it was clean and served my purposes (I did not cook). I would return!

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Very high quality furnishings, tasteful and very cozy. The immediate surroundings are not very interesting on foot, but with a nearby stop/ good bus connection and a nearby bike rental again ok. The house is quiet and the great sauna invites you to relax after the sticking in the headwind.

A beautiful location by the water. Comfortable beds and all amenities were present. In the center, where there is plenty to do. The stairs are not suitable if you have difficulty walking. But otherwise, only compliments!

What of beautiful home and perfect area of Amsterdam, plus being able to visit with sweet Piet the cat, that was a wonderful stay and we would have extended it if we could have :) Marichelle was welcoming, helpful, friendly, available for anything we needed. We immediately felt comfortable and the location is great. In a few minutes you can reach the pedestrian zone and at the harbor.

Super apartment in the pedestrian area of Katwijk. We felt very comfortable there and the apartment has everything you need for a week's vacation (including high-quality kitchen appliances) - even a Wii is available if you get really bored (but with older games). For 4-5 people, the apartment is sufficiently large, only the dining table area is a little narrower. By car you can only approach the apartment until 12 noon for loading and unloading, the rest of the time it is a pure pedestrian zone and blocked by automatic bollards. The beach can be reached in 5 minutes on foot, as well as numerous bars and restaurants - the location is simply 1a.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Boes was so lovely, welcoming, responsive and helpful! We were 3 people in town for a conference at the university. This home is beautiful and so comfortable. There are little cafes and bars and a supermarket within easy walking distance. It was perfect. We had an amazing time and it was truly because of our gorgeous home and wonderful hosts. Highly recommend and cannot wait to come back ❤️🥰

The house was very nice, there was everything you need. The location is quiet in the residential area, beach and shopping within walking distance. Communication with Christoph was straightforward, always friendly, purposeful and fast. We would come back anytime if the journey from the south wasn't so long for us.

Marieke was a great host, always responsive and very helpful. Our check in was easy, and the property was as described in a perfect location within walking distance of the station. We would certainly recommend this accommodation.

Super location! Accommodation was exactly as described/in photos. Hank was proactive and responsive with communications. A lovely house with authentic Amsterdam character, brilliantly located for exploring all the main attractions - and chilling by the canal. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, we had some bad luck because the path in front of the townhouse was being redone in our week. We had to park somewhere else, but Hilger took care of it appropriately! Otherwise, the house is very nice directly behind the dike! Everything worked out perfectly!

All in all a very pleasant stay, it was almost nothing missing, you were even greeted with a few drinks. However, long black hair was found everywhere in the apartment, on the mattress covers that had already been moved in. There was a problem with the warm water towards the end, but since communication with Stefan was easy, we were able to enjoy warm water again after a few instructions.

Really nice apartment where immediately felt at home. Walking distance to everything in the city and next door to a really nice SuperBrugsen with everything we were missing. Highly recommend and we will probably come back sometime.

I've been an airbnb guest for 10 years. But this was by far the most fantastic, imaginative, inspiring, most beautiful place with the nicest hosts. Unfortunately, we did not meet in person, which was made up for by the absolutely personal and nice and attentive communication. The photos corresponded 1:1 to the cottage, everything picobello clean. But in particular, the imaginative, lovingly collected decoration and furniture is truly indescribable. We kept seeing new things in the 2 days and drew attention: "Did you see.... already?" About the beautiful surroundings with all the activities, previous guests have already said everything. Except that you should definitely participate in a city tour in Friedrichstadt. Oh, and I forgot: we slept wonderfully in the very comfortable beds :) . I would definitely recommend this place to friends - and everyone else.

The accommodation is recommended and if I were to take a short vacation in Norden again, I would also take the house again. The location is great, right by the harbor (if you want to make a day trip to Norderney or Juist). In addition, we unexpectedly received a small snack and drinks. Since we booked through Airbnb for the first time, it was new to us. But small gestures like that make you happy. We look forward to taking another short break in this nice house soon.

We had a wonderful time in the house island charm. It exactly matched the images. The location was quiet and centrally located in the middle of the island - perfect for excursions in all directions. We liked the decor of the house very much, the beds were also very comfortable. We would book the house again anytime.

Perfect holiday despite changeable weather and rail strikes. Adrie and Sacco are lovely, kind people..thank you so much! House is very well equipped in a brilliant location. We enjoyed long walks around Juliana park and the new city beach and of course around the boat havens. We hope to come back next year.

There were three of us and the place was great for us. Communication in advance went smoothly, in the kitchen everything was available, the garden area was great to start the day in the morning or end in the evening. We would come back anytime!
