Villa holiday rentals in Waadhoeke

We stayed for four nights in the beautiful vacation house in Menaam. The place is a small private camping ground with two vacation homes (and also place for campers and tents), and was very quiet and peaceful. The house was beautiful and lovely designed amd very clean. As a family of five, our oldest slept in the living room, and the space was enough. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location is very good - a close by natural park with water activities, and about 50 minutes drive from Lauwersoog port and Den Helder. There is also a public outside pool close by, and sunset running is very nice(: The owner was on vacation but was very responsive and friendly and had a very friendly couple in charge in is absence. The place is part of a net of hosts which seems also very serviceable. We enjoyed very much and highly recommend!

Zilverduin is a beautiful house! The location was our favourite feature; within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Leonie was great with giving us tips about the area and things that were handy like rental bikes which got delivered straight to the house - what a luxury! A few things I would have liked to see though, would be: something to handle the mosquitos in the house and higher quality bedding items (the crib for the baby was below expectations for a house at this price point, as were the pillows). Other than that, the host was easy to reach. There is also a caretaker nearby to speak to incase of any emergency. The host also was kind enough to let us check in early and change our dates last minute all to accommodate our ferry times (which I highly suggest booking WELL in advance, ie weeks, if not months!). She also allowed my friends to bring their service dog even though we notified her late. All in all, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay with two families and our kids!

The accommodation is incredibly charming and rustic – perfect for a relaxing vacation with a larger group. The house was very clean, lovingly furnished and offers a great place to linger and sit together with its beautiful garden. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and easily accessible, so we felt well taken care of. A small note: Upon our arrival, a neighbor was unfortunately a little annoyed by our presence and spoke to us about the noise - although it was only normal conversations of twelve people at dinner on Friday afternoon in the garden. This did not negatively affect our stay, but should be considered when planning. Overall, we were more than satisfied and would book the accommodation again at any time!

We rented the house as a group of 16 persons. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The house is beautiful and perfect for a vacation with friends.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful, complete house that is equipped with all comforts. Beautiful, quiet location and yet all amenities are nearby.

Had a very nice stay! A beautiful spacious house on the water. All amenities were top! Definitely a stay where we would come back more often.

We were received in a very friendly manner by Jeroen and he gave us some interesting information about the renovation of the church. After that, he took extensive time to show us all the functions in the kitchen / sauna, etc. We had a wonderful stay at the church. It was very clean, well maintained and nothing was missing in amenities.

Nice stay. Good contact with the host. Has nice contacts in Grou and surroundings. Facilities were good. Great rooms and beds, nice large seating areas, well equipped kitchen. General hygiene could be better; surfaces were dusty and the floors a bit sandy. Definitely recommended for friends weekends, family weekends etc.

Very nice cottage and a nice price for what you get. Nice area. Definitely worth the effort!
