You will have the entire cottage to yourselves, surrounded by the lush rainforest and native bird song. Sit in the mornings on your private lanai with a cup of Kau coffee while enjoying pastries, fruit and yogurt provided by the host. Our neighborhood is located on the edge of a forest preserve home to hawks, owls, and several bird species endemic to the Big Island.

Our piece of paradise is across the street from Volcanoes National Park with the park entrance less than a mile away. When Kīlauea volcano is erupting, (it is currently active as of January 2023) you can see the red glow of the plume from the b&b. Your private cottage is situated on my large property surrounded by lush tropical plants and my tea garden.
