Beachfront holiday rentals in Vlieland

We had a wonderful stay at the Schakel villa. It had everything we needed and although we were unfortunately pretty cold most of the time, it just felt good to be in this wonderful vacation home and to be able to look directly at the water from the living room. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and small beach walks made the stay perfect. We would have liked to try the sauna and the boats, but unfortunately we were too sick for that. Everything was in top condition and very well described. The communication went smoothly and the house is very lovingly decorated. Thanks so much!

We had a wonderful time there. Nice cottage, very quiet in the back and yet within 5 minutes in the shopping street, full of cafes, restaurants, shops,... Jumbo and Lidl are also immediately nearby. The cottage has everything to make it cozy. Candles, cozy blanket, good seat, lovely beds and a kitchen with a view of the garden. Heating works fine too. You only need to increase the thermostat by 1 degree... and everything is nice and warm. The Nespresso is also a luxury. Dirk has even provided enough coffee pods, cookies and sugar and milk. Tea and a kettle are also available. Nice tableware too. In the bathroom, you can find all kinds of shampoos and shower soaps. The toilet is ingenious, with a small sink on top! 😀 As mentioned, a top stay with a host who is always quick to reach. We are definitely blown away! 😉 We will be back! 😍

The stay is worth the price. However, it is worth having your own basic equipment of kitchen ingredients with you, if you want to cook as wonderfully with the wonderful view from the kitchen to the sea;-). (You will have to buy everything - salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, spices, etc.) But the jumbo in the village is a great shop (7 min. in the car) and the essentials would also be available in the campsite shop. 4 minutes by car/10-15 min. by foot) However, the towels for the bathroom are offered and included. You don't need to bring anything. Look forward to unforgettable days at sea!

As a single mom with a toddler and a dog, it's not always easy to find something. We felt very welcome, delicious tulips in the cottage, also Annemieke's dog came to greet us. We have enjoyed a quiet, beautiful environment, top stay, lots of possibilities to do with child and dog! It was great! We'd love to come back!

We had a really nice weekend in the house and felt totally comfortable from the beginning. It was super clean and cozy, just like in the pictures. The area is very quiet and well maintained, perfect for relaxing. From the terrace, you can walk directly on the water, which we totally enjoyed. The beach is also just a few minutes' walk away and really nice. The kitchen was well equipped, everything you need was there.

The cottage was difficult to find because the Airbnb link did not reflect the correct address, fortunately we also got a description so we could trace the cottage well. We got a phone call when the cottage was ready, which was very pleasant as we were already on the island well before the check-in time. We had a very good time on the island and the dog was very happy with the large fenced garden of the cottage!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment on the Sonnenhof. Everything was very clean and as described. The location was tip-top, beach/forest/shopping/city all within walking distance. All communication was quick and hassle-free. The only downside: things for everyday needs are scarce and easy to get when needed. In summary: We will be happy to come back anytime!

Great books available, inspiring. And the choice of music is also interesting and original. The house has everything you need, well maintained, but not superfluous or confusingly large. Atmospherically decorated, candles and beautiful light. It is as neat as if it were a private household. We are fans of the island cottage!

We had a wonderful stay at this chalet! The place is even more cozy and charming than the photos show — beautifully located and very peaceful. It was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Birgit was an incredibly supportive and responsive host. Communication was smooth and friendly from start to finish, and she made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. We are already thinking about coming back in the future. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

We had a lovely stay at the chalet. We were with our teenagers and (a lot of) surfing gear that we could store in the 'garden' of the chalet. The chalet is close to the beach, small crossing, making it an ideal place for surfers on the campsite. The outdoor space is large enough and cozy with different seating areas.

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

A great experience on the most beautiful wadden island (all seen now) The house was cozy and stylish . Our whole group (8 and a toddler ) found a sleeping place 3 bathrooms and a lovely garden where the kids and we could stay . There were plenty of toys but no time for because the cottage is located in the village at the shops and bicycles rental ( 1 min from daan ) nice cycling fish food and are on the beach. We also did the excursion with the safari bus fly thirst. Also recommended !!

A nice place to stay in a holiday park. To the reception 2 min walk, supermarket, swimming pool, mini golf etc also nearby. The house has a second fridge in the storage room. Unfortunately, the house is not very well insulated, but the heating works great. The fireplace makes the living room cozy. The kitchen is also well equipped. The beddings and towels must be picked up and paid at the reception. However, it and Sylvia refunded the amount immediately.

Wonderful stay: especially the location is really beautiful and the cottage is very nice!

We had great days, it looked like summer holidays! Super nice tent in a quiet spot just behind the dunes.....equipped with fine beds and everything you need while camping! We would love to come back to this beautiful place, thank you Drees!

This house is amazing. In the middle of the town you have a quiet oasis with private garden and terrace. The inside is decorated thoughtfully and well equipped. We loved to stay as central and cozy Du the same time. Thanks to Esther - we will happily come back!

Friendly hostess and absolutely recommended. Had wonderful days with my daughter and even put on a stove for a while because of the bad weather. We were even allowed to use the tent a little longer, because of the departure time. Simply great!
