Cottage holiday rentals in Vitré

We had a wonderful family stay at the property. A beautiful peaceful setting. We loved the wood burning hot hub and the pizza oven. Gym was great, and games/family chill room was perfect for kids to have their own space seperate from the main living/dining area inside. Jack and Richard on hand and very responsive. Richard even popped over right away with fire lighters on night one when the previous guests had left an empty box which was very helpful.

Second stay at this fabulous cottage. High quality service, lots of comfort. We'll be back soon;-).

Nicky was a very flexible and accommodating host. Nothing was too much trouble. She provided a lovely welcome pack to get you started after a long trip. During our stay was very helpful with local knowledge, even helping with my French 😊 Couldn’t have asked for a better break away for peace and quiet in a tranquil location with fantastic views. We will miss our lovely walks down the lane. Will definitely return. A perfect little gem. Thank you.

Axel was a great host. He made us feel welcome and happily explained the history and culture of the house and region. He took the trouble to make us feel at home despite ours being a very last minute booking. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Great family stay at Louise's! We enjoyed the quiet accommodation, pool and private jacuzzi! The small house is very nice and Louise is both discreet and welcoming. We hope to return and recommend this place for a stay in the Normandy countryside!

Very nice cottage; ideal for families (each their own room, we had a baby who was quiet to sleep during the day), a very nice veranda in mid-season and finally beautiful environment and perfect equipment in the house.

Béatrice and Didier are very welcoming and accommodating hosts. Communication was easy. A charming functional and well-equipped house a few kilometers from Fougères. We were able to have a great weekend with the family. We will be happy to return to this peaceful retreat.

Julie gave us a very warm welcome and spent time talking about the accommodation and the local area. She was available for advice and help throughout our stay. The gite was well equipped clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and the games room and our grandchildren loved the trampoline. There were enough sun loungers for everyone. The local area was attractive and interesting.

The place and location are lovely. We feel like at home. Very cozy and realx :)

What a beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. We had such a wonderful time staying here. Edward, our host, was very welcoming of us and our four dogs. The gite was perfect, had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, we could cook, BBQ, eat indoors or enjoy eating outdoors. Edward had even provided some wine, cheese, butter, milk, bread, jam, juice, shower gel, shampoo etc. in fact everything to get us started and more. There were plenty of good quality towels to use too and we used the sofa bed in the living area for one night for a family member and the sheets were all provided and it was comfortable. The grounds are amazing and it is so peaceful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. I cannot recommend this place enough and if Edward will host us again then we will be back!

Great weekend at Ludovic's cottage. It is really equipped for 12 people which is very appreciated. The quiet and peaceful environment allows for total disconnection. And the indoor pool is perfect for capricious weather. A property to remember. Thanks

We had a wonderful and magical stay at Nicolas’ place. The perfect spot for a quiet and peaceful escape in the beautiful countryside of Brittany and Normandy. Conveniently located a very short drive away from the majestic Mount St. Michael, and many gorgeous villages. We had lovely barbecues in the beautiful May/June weather (awesome local produce close by). Super friendly, responsive and helpful hosts, we will definitely come again!

We had a good stay at Anne's who was kind and good advice. She let us relax in her beautiful garden surrounded by her few adorable animals. Itis a quiet and well located place for visiting Saint-Malo,Dinan or Mont Saint-Michel. Thank you Anne for your welcome and kindness.

An excellent stay away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. The house had all the amenities needed to make a comfortable stay and the sunroom was a real feature. Could be a little difficult to find the first time, but communications were excellent. Certainly somewhere we will be returning to in the future.

Magali and her husband are charming and accommodating! The accommodation, meanwhile, is pleasant, functional and allows real moments of sharing in a group. The environment is quiet and peaceful while being close to Rennes and activities 👍🏼

We had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely house. Its located in a small village of only eight houses in a quiet rural area. The only sounds were of nature and farming. At night the distance from any major town meant that many stars were visible. Having a car is essential as the location is remote, but it’s only a short drive to Fougeres, where there are large supermarkets. A parking space is available at the end of the garden, up the shared drive for numbers 7 and 8. The rooms were spacious and well furnished. The lounge and dining room in particular were huge. The kitchen had everything we needed. The garden was a very pleasant space and great for sitting out in the evening. Although it got to 35C during our stay the extra thick stone walls meant that it remained cool inside. Communication with our hosts was excellent. We would recommend this house as a relaxing place to stay that is within an hours drive of many attractions.
