Family-friendly holiday rentals in Vista Alegre, Carabanchel

We spent a week in Pilar's beautiful home. The location is easily walkable to the metro restaurants, museums etc. We enjoyed eating at the various restaurants nearby -- none more than a block or two from the apartment. Havana Blues (two blocks from apt) for cuban sandwiches, La Princessa on the opposite corner from our block apt for amazing dolmas, chicken shawarma and belly dancing. The mercado is two blocks away for cheese fresh seafood and vegetables. Lots of coffee and pastry options. Pilar gave us a personal overview of how everything worked in the apartment. The kitchen is completely stocked. We probably spent most of our time out on the terrace, which also has a cute little sleeping cottage. There is a large retractable awning to offer shade in the hot part of the day. We sat outside every night and the large conversation couch offers plenty of seating. Pilar is a lovely host and is extremely responsive. We highly recommend.

Very stylish apartment, fabulous sun terrace which is a rare find in city centre Madrid. Cool neighbourhood, quirky shops, tapas restaurants. Really comfortable and homely apartment. Really friemdly communication. We loved it ❤️

We stayed a month for the whole family and we are especially happy for the facilities offered by Francisco, who facilitated us flexible entry, making it easier to carry suitcases beforehand so that the entrance and logistics were simpler with the children.

Very modern, spacious place with all equipment needed and great location

Amazing apartment fantastic views from the balcony. We enjoyed having a glass of wine when we got back after a great day in Madrid. Busses right outside the door were very convenient and easy to get around. Carlos was extremely helpful and responded immediately to any questions we had. Located centrally in Madrid, Diego’s place was so easy to explore and get everywhere. He checked in to make sure things were good and the door lock system was super easy to work with. The place itself is beautiful and I loved hanging by the window and doing a bit of work or reading while people walked by in sunny Madrid.

Very cool place, decorated with personality. It was ideal for a long weekend with my friends, we had a very good time!

Loved this apartment—comfortable, well equipped and very clean, great location close to La Latina metro. Would be a ‘5’ all around if Lorena his co-manager could have provided a map we could use to find recommended bars and restaurants (as some of the hosts at our AirBnB have done for me before) and had been available to come down to let us in at the appointed time (2pm). We had to wait on the street for a few minutes. Be aware you have to climb 74 steps their apartment — no lift. Prepared us for our Camino walk. Thank you for a great Madrid experience.

We had a lovely two-week stay in Madrid, using this apartment as our home base. Located right on Plaza Mayor, with lovely views out the doors and from the balcony, this is a fabulous location. We were concerned about noise being a problem, but it really just showed the life in the Plaza and was quiet by midnight. We opted to eat off the plaza most meals, as there are better options and more affordable (less touristy). Easy to get to many parts of Madrid from this location, whether by walking, catching the train/subway, or getting a taxi. The apartment is very nicely appointed with a great kitchen and living room. Beds and bathrooms were nice too. We highly recommend this for families and groups visiting Madrid!

Super cute terrace was a highlight of the apartment for sure. Overall was a lovely place and central/walkable to many things!

The apartment is on the second floor of a beautiful residential complex, with a doorman both late at night when we arrived, and early in the morning, when we left; the apartment is suitable for four people, with two bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. Just outside the residential complex is the bus stop number 20 that takes you to the center (Plaza del Sol); and 350 m away, there is the metro stop (Conde de Casal) to get to any part of Madrid. Francisco was very helpful and attentive to our requests and, among other things, speaks Italian well.

We needed a place to stay for a single night that was close to the train station but still wanted to be able to enjoy the city and see some friends. This apartment was absolutely perfect! Fit our needs and was exactly as described. Easy to check in and we had a great experience. Thank you!

Fantastic apartment with a beautiful pool! It's in a gorgeous spot close to lovely restaurants but in easy reach of Madrid! The apartment is even better than the photos and we were so warmly greeted it made us feel very cared for! We loved our trip and can highly recommend!

Nice to stay there. The house is small but has everything you can expect. For me, details like coffee or baking paper or albal give me an idea of what they want to offer you, they want you to be comfortable and not miss anything. Mercedes was very kind and the pool is a very nice addition. We'll be back.

Studio well located within the Letras area. Walkable to many historic sites, restaurants, tapas bars, shopping, among others. Apartment is comfortable for 2 persons with ample kitchen, living and bathroom area.

The house is spectacular. We had a great weekend. It's spacious, beautiful, it feels like you're in an Oasis, honestly a 10. In addition, the treatment of both Iñigo and the foreman Said was unbeatable, they have made us feel at home. We will definitely repeat.
