Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Vinton County

Three young families stayed here together with 5 kids 2 & under. It was the perfect setup for the kiddos & the adults loved relaxing in the hot tub after the kids went to bed. We felt right at home and everything we could possibly need was there! It’s super close to all the hiking spots too!

The host was the most attentive we have ever had, we appreciate the thoughtful gestures that made us feel welcome. We had to leave early for a family emergency and they were very supportive. We will definitely come back!

This place was amazing. The only issue that we had was the wifi wasn't working due to some of the outlets in the room not working. I was told maintenance was going to come out but nobody ever showed up. But other than that this is a beautiful and amazing place will definitely book again.

This cottage and our hosts were so wonderful I'm afraid I'll forget to name them all! The setting is GORGEOUS. So private and magical. Every room is charming. The house offers a lot of privacy if you're there with a group. Beds and linens are new and luxurious. I have NEVER been in a cleaner place. Nobody missed a spot when they cleaned before our stay! Kayla was delightful--always responsive, friendly, and accommodating. I had such a good feeling about her. I suggest guests take advice about getting up the driveway seriously, especially if it's wet or icy. It was muddy and I got up just fine in my Subaru Forester and my friend got up without all-wheel drive. The place IS within reasonable distance of all the delights of Athens, but once we saw how delicious it was to be on the property, we just stayed put--we didn't want to leave.

My Wife and I had a wonderful stay! The area is easy to find and the scenery was beautiful! The home is absolutely gorgeous and the hot tub and games were a great touch! Definitely will stay here again.

Beautiful property. Lovely farmhouse nestled into peaceful rolling fields. We loved just sitting by the campfire overlooking the pond. Very secluded. From the back yard you can't see any neighbors. very peaceful. easy ride to beautiful Hocking Hill State Park. The hosts were very responsive to any questions/concerns. we had a wonderful family vacation.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay, and would stay again. The hot tub had a great view of the so-called "Strawberry Moon". All the appliances and amenities in the unit were top-notch. Everything was sparkly clean. The hot tub is tucked behind the unit and is relatively private. There's another unit to the west that appears to be a rental on the same property. No one was there during our stay, but even if they had been, the trees afford a sense of privacy. Also on the property, to the south, is a small wedding venue. This was fully in view of the hot tub, but again, wasn't occupied during our stay. The neighbors across the street were working on some project cars when we arrived. They were friendly, as were their four dogs and cats! The animals are all well-behaved, and know not enter your unit, but definitely expect a warm welcome in the morning from them.

We had a great time as a big group from out of the US, all the house felt comfortable with a lot of different activities inside that we wish to stayed longer to be able to use them. I personally recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in southeastern Ohio and would like a relaxing time with family

My girlfriend and I spent our anniversary weekend here where we also got engaged! By far the most relaxing and peaceful weekend we’ve ever spent together. Thank you Amanda & family for hosting such a nice stay.

I have rented many modest cabins in Hocking Hills, and Fullbrooks stands out—everything we needed it to be. Great: well-appointed kitchen (sharp knives, sugar, salt/pepper); several outdoor spaces; super clean (including hot tub); clear stargazing (Milky Way); private (not secluded); comfy furniture throughout; extra towels, TP, paper towels, dish/hand soap; shocking lack of bugs*; dog-friendly (our big pup relished the free range—within easy view). Okay: 20-30 min drive to most HH attractions; patchy media (could connect phones to wifi, but even after resetting the router, couldn’t connect to Netflix/cast to TV from our phones); off-site check in/out added ~15 min x2 to our drive. Tips: Bring back-up matches for a fire and your own napkins. To those mindful of plastics/PFAS, the kitchen has only scratched up nonstick cookware; bring your own pot and pan, as well as a container to collect recyclables to take home. *1st Choice sprays for bugs, including bees. Poor pollinators. ☹

We very much enjoyed our stay and found the place clean, inviting and the decor was perfect. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and it was a great stay all around!

Lovely cabin and location for a long weekend. Clean with enough towels, hand soap, garbage bags, and TP for our weekend (even left the TP we brought behind :) ). Little things like a dog dish so I didn't have to use ours and the solar light in front so you can see the cabin from the road at night are special touches. Location was nice as it was close to Logan for a quick dinner out or to grab food to make in the cabin, but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful. Appreciated having some level of WiFi, but be warned it isn't enough to work from or use multiple devices - which was fine by me this weekend! We enjoyed playing games and cards and were only slightly sad to not be able to watch March Madness as easily as at home. My only wish for this cabin is to have a washer/dryer after a day of muddy hiking and playing in streams. Did I mention how clean it was when we arrived? Wonderful place to stay!

Easy check in a cute little cabin for the family to visit surrounding areas

Great place to stay when visiting hocking hills. This is right in between downtown Logan and all the hikes and trails of hocking hills. This apartment is the upstairs of the KOA campground activities building so you have very quick and easy access to all the KOA amenities as well which is very nice! Highly recommend Captain Ron’s pirate pizza 4 minutes up the street, the Rock House hike, and the Ash Cave hike.

I’ve never been so amazed by a place! The host was so kind and helpful even before arriving. The tent was nicer and cleaner than most places I’ve stayed at. Went end of march and even when temps dropped at night the heater she had kept up super warm. She supplied everything needed and so much more. If you lay out in the driveway you can see the super bright stars. Was very private and beautiful surroundings in the nature. Think all we talked about while staying there is how great they did with the place. And the bed!!!! Omg never felt such comfortable pillows and mattress. Best night sleep and stay ever. Will be back for sure.

Great place for a little get away. Amanda was very helpful the whole time. They truly have a great set up and enjoyed the experience. They go above and beyond to make this worth your stay. Would recommend to anyone.

A Funky, Fabulous Getaway! We had an absolute blast at this colorful and quirky cabin! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by vibrant decor, funky furniture, and disco balls that set the mood for nonstop fun. It's the perfect spot for a bachelorette weekend, a friends' retreat, or even a family escape. The cabin is packed with entertainment: we played games, soaked in the hot tub under the stars, and ended our nights laughing around the fire pit. Every corner of the place has a playful, joyful vibe that made our stay unforgettable. There was a brief power outage during our stay, but the owner was incredibly responsive and had it resolved in no time. Their communication and hospitality really stood out. We're already talking about coming back and next time we might even upgrade to their neighboring property for an even bigger group adventure. Highly recommend booking this gem if you're looking for something unique, fun, and full of good vibes!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy farm styled house! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The view from the deck in the back was breathtaking, especially at sunrise. We loved sipping coffee in the rocking chairs while listening to the sounds of nature. The hot tub was a perfect bonus after a long day out enjoying the surroundings. It felt so private and peaceful, definitely coming back. We found our home-away-from-home and can't wait to return.

Phil is a great host, and the cabin was awesome. Off the grid, but easy access to Athens. Fun fishing spot, and a nice hot tub to relax in. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at the schoolhouse while visiting Hocking Hills. It is a bit of a drive to most things, but with GPS, it was easy. T Mobile gets good cell service there and WIFI is available on the premises. Be sure to turn on the heating or AC before you leave for the day. It was chilly when we arrived and very cold when we came back from adventuring. The heat works well, but took a bit to heat from 50°. So be sure to set the heat or air so you aren’t cold or hot! Loved the area. Loved the school house vibe and the chalk board. Great place for a fun weekend.

Nice quiet lil place to get away from the city. The place was clean and neat as described will definitely be returning soon!

The cabin was perfect for a girls weekend. Close to trails, clean and cozy. We had a great time and all talked about how well suited the cabin is for girls trips or family trips. We’ll be back!
