Family-friendly holiday rentals in Villeneuve-sur-Lot

We were welcomed by Didier one night. It was warm and thoughtful because he bought us a “survival kit” for breakfast and recommended us the exceptional places to visit…this area is a real favorite. The cottage is great, you feel at home very quickly with the spacious living room and its superb fireplace, the comfortable bedding, as well as the hot tub that served every day. The outside is amazing, it's in the middle of the quiet greenery, where crickets accompany our days and evenings. The cottage is equipped for children…toys, books, bikes, swings and slides. A stone's throw from the Château de Bonaguil, it's easy to enjoy one of the most beautiful castles in the area as well as the restaurant downstairs. Didier, thank you so much for this week, it was perfect!

Arnauld and Marion gave me a very warm welcome and are very nice, I thank them for everything and I will gladly come back.

Brigitte is a great host, the concept of a trailer proposed in nature with animals, games for children, canoes on the edge of the Lot, is just incredible. We had a very good, friendly welcome. We really enjoyed it and will definitely come back

I can only recommend Claudette's accommodation, this haven of remarkable cleanliness is undoubtedly the best equipped I have known to date: more than complete kitchen equipment (you can tell that this accommodation is occupied regularly by its owners), SPA, ping pong table, etc. The region is beautiful, combining nature and enchanting villages, do not miss the markets of Montpazier and Villeréal... the cottage is as described. the cottage is very spacious with all the necessary amenities. quiet and relaxing environment. David's instructions are very clear. i would definitely recommend it.

We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful property. The grounds are so well kept, the house is stunning and well fitted out and the pool / spa / pétanque / ping pong table are the perfect additions to keep you entertained all day / night. Bernard the groundskeeper went above and beyond cleaning the pool each day and taking the rubbish etc. It is a fantastic house to rent for a summer holiday!

I had a lovely time with my friends in this beautiful home. We loved the pool and this beautiful view, we enjoyed it from morning to sunset. Kim is very available, she sent us clear recommendations and explanations, it was a pleasure to talk with her. The air conditioning in the rooms as well as the sauna and hot tub are a real plus for a summer stay like ours. Finally, we loved seeing the pony stroll through the garden when we woke up.

Excellent stay at La Grenouille qui siffle, clean accommodation, well-equipped, comfortable bedding, very pleasant environment in the middle of nature, quiet and peaceful. Responsive and available hosts. The central geographical positioning allows easy access to all tourist places in the region.

Very good stay, the garden is beautiful and peaceful, the village is very cute 20 minutes from the Dordogne Valley. Jean Marie and Nicole are charming and hosted us very well.

Easy to find quiet location, in area with some of the most beautiful villages in France with Markets on every day in the surrounding area as well as superb Michelin restaurants using incredible local produce . Comfortable open plan property, modern facilities in traditional cottage, easy to operate and cosy wood pellet heater. Property less suited if very tall ( I’m 6’4”) due to beautiful but low beams. Parking is right next to property. Host very responsive on any request.

Our family of 6 and our dog stayed at Le Fournet Bas for one week. The place looks even better in real life than it did in the photos - rustic charm with modern facilities. The bedrooms worked really well — boys in the twin, girls in the double and we had the “old bread oven” annex. The saltwater pool was delightful, clean and well-maintained. The barbecue area was excellent and well-used throughout our week. We would recommend renting electric bikes from the nearby FatVelo - a great way to spend a morning/day. Also Chateau de Bonaguil is very close and well worth a visit. Nearby St-Martin-le-Redon is a beautiful little village, and Puy L’Évêque is also well worth a visit. Christine and Gérard were very welcoming and helpful and resolved any little questions quickly and without any fuss. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing week.

We had a wonderful stay at this holiday home in Nérac! The house is very clean and conveniently located, close to all amenities. Hosts are extremely welcoming and attentive to all our needs. Highly recommend this sweet sweet spot!

Fabrice was responsive to our approach, which did not allow us to enjoy the accommodation on the terms of the reservation. Conciliatory, from the moment we were able to book, he was considerate for our stay and available. The accommodation is a haven of peace where the smell of wood and cleanliness are de rigueur. A magnificent 11th century church is only 10 meters away, allowing you to appreciate the technical prowess of the time, and the know-how of the maintenance of exceptional buildings

My husband and I spent a week at Catherine's stunning home in June. The grounds are literally breath taking and the apartment had everything you needed. We loved the pool area and Catherine supplied a bbq so we had dinner on our own private lawn overlooking the beautiful grounds one evening, truly magical! Emyet is only 5 mins drive and has an abundance of beautiful restaurants. Catherine was so helpful giving us great suggestions of places to visit. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it for a special stay in the Dordogne. Wonderful!! Thank you Catherine.

We had a wonderful weekend in this cottage. The place is really superb and exotic, the pool is very well maintained and all the amenities are present in the cottage. Viviane is adorable and responsive for any questions, I recommend for a weekend/holiday with family or friends!

Jon was a great host and supplied everything we needed, also really quick to answer any questions. The place was amazing and in great condition, really nice rural location with plenty of towns to explore nearby for day trips. We had a lovely week and a half staying there and exploring the local area! What a fabulous home at Les Hortalis. Exactly as shown and described but with the added bonus of stunning, peaceful surroundings. Nice little weekend. Quiet and peaceful. Having two small children, they loved the playground. Very cute cottages. I recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at Marie and Thomas's. The accommodation is very well equipped, perfect for children to have fun. The presence of the vegetable garden, chickens, all the outdoor amenities make the stay very pleasant for young and old alike. The natural pool is a great discovery. Marie and Thomas are very responsive hosts, which is nice. We thank them for our stay.

Marie France's B&B is in an outbuilding of her Chateau de Costy, a huge house from bygone times with extensive grounds around it. It is fully furnished, literally everything you need for a long or short stay is available. The beautiful private swimming pool is for the guests. In the nearby town of Eymet, there are numerous small restaurants with affordable prices. Marie France is very nice and helpful with all your questions about the area. Recommended!
