Great views of the Lago Grande and all the buzzy local comings and goings from the balcony. Local shops providing great Sicilian produce a stones's throw away. The beach is 5 minutes and full of working fishing boats. Ganzirri is an active fishing community, from both the sea and the lake where clams and mussels are cultivated. Wonderful dramatic views in every direction. Giandiego was a great host, helpful and ensuring we had a good stay. Would definitely recommend.

My stay at Giorgio's penthouse was absolutely fantastic! The space was pristine and incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect solo retreat. Giorgio was an exceptional host – very responsive, kind, and even shared some excellent local pizza recommendations. Everything was exactly as described, exceeding my expectations. I will definitely be returning to this Airbnb on my next trip!

accommodation located in a city that is a must-see!!!The nearby square makes it easy to park. Intended for people who are alert because the accommodation is accessible on foot and with a few large steps, located at the level above the sea, you can access the seaside by going down many stairs. There is an elevator but it was not in operation. Manuela greeted us in the street so that we could easily find the accommodation and was able to give us some directions to visit Scilla. The tourist tax is not included in the price, you must add €2 per person per day. Our stay was only one night and was very well suited for this small accommodation.

Our stay in beautiful Tropea to attend a wedding was made even more special with our Stay at Casa Belvedere. Christina’s beautiful apartment exceeded all our expectations itself, along with its superb location. Mimma who assisted us with everything we needed upon arrival and during our stay was the most adorable warm hearted lady, which only elevated our stay even more. Great room in a lovely old building. Very clean and newly renovated, perfect location close to the historic town centre but far enough to be quiet at night. Walking distance to everything!

I can't help but say that we were allowed to have the perfect vacation at the property. The grounds are fantastically beautiful, as is the view from the balcony every morning. The hospitality of the hostess and the contact person for German guests have allowed us to switch off completely & to have nothing to worry about. From help with the rental car to surprise aperitivi, everything was there. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit this beautiful area and look forward to coming back now!

Absolutely perfect stay in the heart of Tropea! Francesca is a wonderful host — communication was fast, clear, and very friendly from the beginning. The apartment is located right in the center of the old town, just steps away from everything, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The space was clean, charming, and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches like coffee and croissants in the morning. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!

It was like winning the lottery to find this beautiful accommodation. Nicer than in the photos and the view from the balcony - priceless! Beautifully situated, 5 minutes by car from Tropea center. Since we were there without a car and it was quite steep up and down on roads without a sidewalk, Filippo "saved our lives". Incredibly nice and likeable, he always took us and picked us up wherever we wanted to go. In addition, great tips for beach, restaurant, etc. Domenica was also very warm. A great week that we wouldn't have traded for a star hotel. Great communication, uncomplicated process, magnificent view, picco bello clean and no concern remained unfulfilled. 10 out of 5 stars 😍

Wonderful stay! I took my mom to Sicily for the first time and this was a most ideal place and setting. The service and attention was exceptional and made you feel right at home upon arrival. The room seemed like it was newly renovated with nice modern furnishings and technology and also immaculately clean. Perfect patio view of La Isola Bella. The outdoor pool was clean as well. If you chose not to rent a car you can take a bus which picks you up about halfway down the hill and it takes you to the beach as well as the center of Taormina. I would return here anytime. Anita’s place is so cute! We really enjoyed our stay here, and she was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. It was a nice short walk up to the town center. We would definitely stay here again if we make it back to Taormina!

We loved our stay here. It had the most incredible view that we didn’t want to leave. Super easy access to the beach and the cable car into the town centre. Recommend staying here over Taormina as it’s away from the tour groups and craziness so it is really peaceful but easy to get to town for dinner etc. The rooms and kitchen all looked over the ocean, were clean and well maintained. Pietro was an excellent host and made everything simple. Even had a beautiful antipasti platter for us on arrival. Would visit again!

Fabio was kind and helpful to us right from the start... I appreciated the possibility of being able to park the car in the inner courtyard... the house is not in a central location but with your own means you can easily reach everything... if we need to, we will return

An excellent apartment in a friendly and genuine village … We’ve just returned from a superb holiday in the village of Santa Domenica. What a great apartment. Spacious and well equipped, super clean, with a decent balcony and pool with a sun bathing area. No negatives for us at all. Everything we needed food wise was in the village ; a couple of supermarkets, a really good food/bric a brac market on Mondays, a bakery, fishmonger (that serves meals also), cafe/bars, 4/5 restaurants (Il Casale was our favourite). We used Santa Domenica as a base for a few days out to Pizzo and Scilla (both beautiful and, we thought, easily as nice as Tropea. A number of beaches are accessible from Santa Domenica but these involve walks which aren’t always easy when it’s 30+ degrees. And our host ? Teresa was ace. Picked us up from the Railway Station, gave us loads of decent recommendations and responded immediately to any questions we had. A great holiday !

I’m not sure I can sum this up in 1000 words but our stay at Roberto’s was beyond any expectation. Not only was it spotlessly clean, perfectly located and had its own parking, it was a 5 minute walk to the cable car to Taormina town (quick 3-4 min ride). The nearby restaurants were phenomenal especially Bel Assai and Blum. Both walkable within 5 minutes. Roberto as a host is simply the best we’ve ever had. There were multiple snacks and beverages for us upon arrival and everything you could ever want from an Airbnb experience. His charm and care were off the charts. Tanjit, his very strong helper, was available for any questions or inquiries we had as well. All in all it was our favorite stay not only in Sicily but in the course of our 20+ Airbnb’s around the world. To be fair- yes, there are many steps to the property but every single one was worth the experience. If you get the opportunity book it immediately. There’s no place like it in the world.

Literally located in the best area, everything you’d need in the flat, clean with a good host. Such a bargain!

We had a lovely stay at Stefano’s place. Perfect location close to everything and we loved having a drink on the terrace before dinner. Would 100% recommend.

Giovanni's place is a great house with beautiful views of Taormina, the sea and Etna. The location is great and it is very easy to walk all around the center of Taormina and the tourist paths. Still, the house is a little off the busiest parts and relatively quiet. The kitchen has the implements necessary to cook simple meals. The beds are a little on the hard side, but there are blankets and comforters that can be used to soften them a bit. Overall, a great place for those visiting Taormina. Giovanni is a great host and was very patient when the train we were arriving in had technical issues and did not reach Taormina station on time (we had to take a bus from Letojanni, where the train stopped). Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Very nice, very clean, very good equipped and designed apartment. We can absolutely recommend to stay here! Beach, supermarket and good restaurants are available but ideally you have a car.
