Waterfront holiday rentals in Vila Real de Santo António

We had the pleasure of the staying at Rita’s place for a week in April 2025. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped, the rooftop terrace with a bbq is perfect for dinner with fresh seafood from the local market. It was our 3rd visit to the Algarve region and Manta Rota is one of our favorite spots so far, we’d definitely return to Manta Rota and book the apartment again.

Our stay was excellent! The apartment was exactly as described - super clean, organized and well equipped. Fran was an impeccable host, very communicative and made check-in and check-out a lot easier. The location is perfect, very quiet and ideal for those who want to do everything on foot – beach, pool, market, restaurants… Even in front there is an extensive promenade, great for walking and running. The staff of the enterprise also deserves to be highlighted: always available to clarify all our doubts. The green area around the pool surprised us with its positive - well-kept, quiet and perfect for reading or taking a nap, much more beautiful than it looks in the photos. Although this area is known for its mosquitoes, everything was calm; we only used repellent once on our little one, as a precaution. We liked the stay so much that we even thought about extending it for a few more days, but unfortunately the apartment was already booked. See you soon!

Patricia's apartment is perfect for a quiet stay in Isla Canela. It is tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped, down to the smallest detail, and all completely new and quality. The views from the whole house are amazing. We were not very lucky with time but only with being in the living room and enjoying that view of the sea was already worth it. Patricia was always available for anything we needed. This will certainly be our reference apartment for our visits to Isla Canela.

We spent our vacation in this great beach apartment for the 2nd time and enjoyed Mark's hospitality. The apartment is perfect for our needs: On the one hand, this wonderful Praia da Falesia is "on the doorstep", on the other hand, you can quickly reach the west and east of Portugal by car to discover other beautiful places in the Algarve. Bars, restaurants and supermarkets are in the immediate vicinity and there is also an excellent cocktail bar with tapas to end a nice summer evening. We will be happy to come back.

Steffanie was great at check-in, she met us there early and talked us through the place. Lovely apartment with a great pool that our girls loved even in the cooler weather. The apartment is close to a nice street full of restaurants and bars. We took a taxi to Tavira a few times as we loved exploring there.

It was a very nice week in Portugal with a great apartment. The spaces are nice and bright, clean and absolutely welcoming. Here you can really feel at home ☺️ The host is really great and very nice in communication 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 10/10 and highly recommended. Would book again right away!

Beautiful apartment, lovely quiet area. I loved the rooftop pool and view from our balcony was also lovely. Worth knowing you have to get a ferry to a beach. Worth hiring a car for a few days to explore other areas ie Tavira. And for shopping .

Just wow! Rita met us to check us in and contacted us several times to make sure all was well. Any little issues were addressed right away, kindly and professionally. The little house was clean and cozy with great patio to enjoy a glass of wine with a view to the distant sea. We loved everything and Rita is wonderful!!!! Can’t recommend highly enough. Hope to return!

Had an amazing time here and underestimated how good the location is. Easy to jump in and out of the fun of Albufeira and an easy walk to public parking. Marina was super responsive and communicated well. Wish we could stay longer!

Our stay at this fully equipped Oceanview Villa in Albufeira was absolutely phenomenal! It is a true gem, perfectly situated just a short walk from the Albufeira Old Town. The breathtaking ocean views from the balcony and rooftop terrace were a highlight, making every sunrise and sunset unforgettable. The pool was pristine and inviting, ideal for relaxing after exploring the beaches all day and the charming streets of Old Town. The villa itself is spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed to prepare meals. High-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, stylish decor and cozy vibe. The host was incredibly responsive, offering local recommendations and ensuring a seamless check-in. Perfectly located for both beach access and exploring the Algarve, this villa is a dream for couples or families. I can’t recommend it enough, we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Teresa is amazing - the place is terrific. Really well located yet quiet. I’m a quite tall so I am not always suitable for Portuguese homes, but the home is perfect in every way. Very quaint very clean and very comfortable.

Great location with beautiful views. The walk to the beach was easy enough. Plenty of food options and shopping within walking distance. A lovely space for our time in Albufeira!

Ana's house was perfect for our stay in Tavira. The accommodation is well thought out and had everything we needed. With three outdoor seating areas, you can always find a sunny or shady spot, according to your preference. Tavira's attractions are within walking distance, as well as restaursnts, grocery shops and the market.

Great house for our weekend away at the beach. Lovely fenced garden which our dog loved! The pool was lovely and had the benefit of a sliding cover that kept the water at a beautiful temperature. Comfortable beds and nice linens. Well equipped kitchen, we would definitely recommend it.

I can’t praise/recommend this property and Susana as our host enough, we were a group of 4 female friends travelling for a long weekend break away, from fantastic communication to flexible check in times, spotlessly clean apartment and complex, great accessories provided including pool towels and umbrella, everything is as described, the pictures do not do it justice, the apartment is much bigger than you expect with 2 balconies each side catching sunrise and sunset. We walked downhill to the marina and local supermarket/bar & restaurant and easily ordered Ubers back up to the complex, only costing a couple of Euros. An Uber into Old Town is just as easy to order costing approx 7€. The complex is very secure with gated/key access, it is quiet and respectful with a security guard walking round day and evening. We have had a fantastic trip and wouldn’t hesitate to book with Susana again, thank you so much.

The accommodation is just like the photos, spectacular. Ideal for a couple. Very easy and quick to communicate with Ana and Jesus, who recommended places to visit and restaurants in the area. We'll be back.

We arrived late after our flight was delayed and Rui was there waiting to check us in and show us around. Apartment in lovely location close to shops, restaurants and beach. We were there with 2 small kids and had great time. Rui was in contact during the week to make sure all was ok and very quick to reply to any questions. Had a fabulous week here would highly recommend.

The place was gorgeous, right next to the beach. The balcony was our favorite part about the apartment, we enjoyed every single evening there. Thank you for a little welcome package! Would definitely come back anytime in Albufeira.

Maura our host was really helpful and responded to all queries. She welcomed us at the arranged arrival time and talked us through everything we needed to know. The apartment was really lovely and spotlessly clean. Maura provided a list of recommendations such as places to visit and local restaurants and welcomed us with a selection of local produce. We would thoroughly recommend.

Had a lovely week in this house, location is probably the best in Tavera for resteraunts and ferry to the beach. Train station a 20 min walk which connects you to the whole of the Algarve. Probably the best equipped kitchen of any air bnb I have stayed in, you could cook and seat 20 if you wished. The roof terrace was a bonus for views, seating and chilling. We were two people staying so had a bedroom, bathroom and dressing room each, loads of great communal space as well. Mat’s was very attentive to our needs and gave some great recommendations for eating out. Nikita at the end of the road was amazing food and reasonable. Would recommend a stay here.
